Daughter and I had a great time at the Putt-putt course. It was quiet, clean, beautiful landscaping! $12 for both courses and challenging holes. We had a great time.

Took 11 of us... Grandkids loved it.. when they were finished skating they loved the kids play gym.. too pictures with Shark figure and ate pizza... The kids said they had a great time!! The staff was very friendly!!

I only had good experiences as a child and as a new employee its great to work there now. The staff is great and friendly and its a wonderful place for teens and young adults to work.

Always a fun time. Good is a little expensive but not more than expected at a skating rink. Soft play area is really fun for 7 year old.

Not many skating places around. Plenty of room here, but pretty gross upkeep. I feel like they should have something in place for kids pushing each other.

Just have my daughters birthday party here and for what I paid it was horrible my fiance had to serve the whole party when there was supposed to be people doing that for us nothing was ready when we arrived our guests had to wait in the lobby I do not recommend buying their birthday party package I recommend paying the $25 fee to bring in a birthday cake and doing the party yourself

Family place. Clean. People nice. Friday was lots of kids 8-15 range. Music appropriate for roller skating. Mostly kids and parents. Wood floor.

Free refills on pitchers and all you can eat pizza on Sundays isnt something they have to do but is a selfess display of their awesome customer service. Everyone was kind and helpful, from the front desk to the skate rental guys. Cant wait to come back!

Our first time visiting and it won’t be our last! Groupon had an outstanding deal that I highly recommend purchasing for this skating rink. Believe me, you’ll want to save as much as you can upfront, because once inside-oh boy! You’ll notice the friendliness of the staff throughout the arena. The main areas are free of clutter or any signs of heavy wear and tear. Passing the snack bar may cause some sticker shock. NO outside food/beverages allowed. A cup of brand name soda from the machine -$2.50. So plan on $5.00-$10.00 per child, just to keep them hydrated. Then, there’s food...another $5.00+ per child. They do NOT store your shoes behind the counter. Keep that in mind if you’re kiddos wear LeBrons or Jordan’s along with North Face or Columbia jackets! You either rent a locker$$, keep a watchful eye on your family’s stuff, leave it in Gods hands...or do what I did...No empty lockers? Ok, load up the shoes into a Nike duffel bag and put into the car with their coats. There are many awesome games there too, in addition to the soft play for purchase. Three kids can easily cost you $60 or more. Money well spent for a family to enjoy the night in a safe environment, making new friends.

Great experience here. The employees were helpful and answered questions when asked. I dont know if the management is new but they are constantly doing improvements to make the place look better. reminds me of The Rinkon 87th St. in Chicago during its hey day except brighter. They play the top 100 hits of the past few years with some classics for the older patrons. They have soft play for the little ones that cant skate or die the one that need more to do than skate. They also have arcade games you can play to win prizes at counter. The food is good worth decent prices. They have a VIP area for birthdays. There are a few things they can improve that would make the experience better for everyone including the chaperones that arent skating. They need a few bigger HDTV placed around the place like 55inch or bigger. Also the ceiling above the rink needs to be updated but overall great place to skate.

The location has been around for years and it shows. The bathrooms need some serious cleaning and fixing. The paint needs updating and the flooring needs a deep cleaning.Food customer service was better this time but when you hire teenagers you can only ask for so much. Food hygiene is not the best and cross contamination is obvious. The party workers need help, maybe a separate room for large groups as two tables does not accommodate 20 kids and parents and birthday stuff. The online system and charges for scheduling a party is misleading. There is no entrance fee for parents of kids going to the party but there is a forced all you can eat pizza charge for the non-skaters. Most of the parents didnt eat the pizza. This was the first kids party I paid for at Skateworld and it will be the last. It is unfortunate that the customer service on the phone could not have been better and more professional.

Split times a little difficult..but the great grand kids love to skate...Groupon had a great deal too! Lg. Pizza and four admitions..with skate rental included! Wow!

Our first visiting and my kids had a great time. We will be back. They meet some friendly and helpful kids who was willing to help them learn how to skate. I loved how they have events where the admission is free.

The midweek birthday package was exactly what I needed. It was affordable and convenient. Our server did an excellent job making my girls feel celebrated!

The establishment is nice clean and large. But the staff seems a little young. No one was rude specifically, but I feel like its... Mis-managed and it could use a bit more structure.

I went there for my nieces birthday party most recently. It was an ok experience. Had been there before as a kid and loved it. Now it has games and bouncy houses and such. Not bad for the kids, but the games are more expensive than they should be, and they dont work. There are only like 8 games that all cost a dollar or more and they are kept in poor condition. The skating is ok, the skate rentals are in good condition as far as I can tell. There are 12 to 15 year olds that streak around not looking out for little ones though. You do have to watch out for them, as the skateworld people do not seem to. Other than those things, it was an alright experience and a clean facility.

The place hasnt changed in years. The carpet is the same for as long as I can remember and it shows. The place is dirty. Sticky tables, skates are beyond wore out. The place is still fun for kids but it needs a good cleaning and updated. The bathrooms are extremely funky nasty.

I could not believe the prices. Me and my 17 year-old daughter stopped for a party for a 5 year old to drop-off a gift. $5.50 to get in per person for NON SKATERS, $1 extra for using my debit, $12 just to get in the door!!! Food prices are outrageous!! $3 for a tiny slushie for example.... OH DONT FORGET CASH!!! Each time they swipe your card it is a $1 charge!!!! This place is robbing peoples pockets. I cant even imagine how much it cost for the actual birthday package. They have a soft Jungle gym inside and it is $3.00 per person. I feel for the parents that have multiple kids. They would spend a fortune on food and activities.

My wheels looked disgusting after a few hours skating here, honestly, they werent super clean when I got here, but they looked much worse when we left. The skate floor was clean and pretty well taken care of, I guess it was just the carpet. Its a little pricey for a family if you arent aware of the promotions they offer. The jungle gym they built took away a good portion of the skate floor so you spend more time turning than skating in the straight away. Im guessing they make more money from parties than just open skate so it probably made financial sense to put it in, however when we went the play area was not even open. Bathrooms were pretty well kept. They have a nice selection of skates and parts on hand. The staff looked to be short a person or two but were friendly. If you arent on the skate floor, you cant understand whats being announced over the speaker system, and even then it was still difficult.

I took my four-year-old son here and I have to say that it is probably one of the better skating rinks in the area. Everything inside is clean, new, and fresh. The soft play area is substantial and has lots of activities inside. In fact, I think my son spent more time in the soft play than anything else. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff that work well together and always try to serve the families at the rink the best they can. Great experience everytime we are there. They have a little kids soft play area... only wish they limited age of kids allowed on it. Lots of arcade games as well... My kids all love meeting their friends and skating together at this location. The skate mates are very helpful to the new and young skaters...

Its a bit old. Without a coupon or deal the price adds up quickly. The do have an awesome all you can eat pizza option. They also have skate buddies that look like miniature walkers for new skaters. Unfortunately, the soft play area is not included in the skate price.

There is an extra charge for just about everything. The skate walkers or whatever theyre called, to help kids skate are an extra $5 each on top of skate rentals. Its $3 for a wristband to go on the new and improved playground area. The snacks are the same or higher than movie theater prices.

Skate world of kettering used to be the great place in the world now they tried to turn it into a chucky cheese they dont even play any skating music anymore eitherI miss the days were you walk in and playing dont stop the rock or zapp and roger and all the other skating rink classics

Ive been coming to this place for twenty years. A tad expensive in comparison but the facility is clean, staff is friendly and music is appropriate. Just go on Sunday for all you can eat pizza

It definitely shows signs of wear and could use some updating, but our kiddos enjoy going there and if you can find a groupon it is definitely worth it.

Never again!I normally don’t post reviews but this disappointment and ripoff just upsets me!This place to begin with will NOT take Groupon on Sundays!!!!! Very dirty all over and staff was unprofessional! Several people lost wheels and screws off their skates and fell, as well as me!!! I tripped over a screw laying on the skate floor. Hurt my knee and broke my pants. Staff told me it happens and she can’t keep up with tightening and checking screws/skates. Poor, very poor!!!Please don’t support this kind of business and stay away!!!!!

Had a field trip to skate world today. Skates gave me blisters had to change them like 3 times some kids thought there was a fight, so they always going to the back where the glow room is. The other kid was trying to get his skates in the manager, put her hands on him and pulled him back.

Skateworld of Kettering is always a fun, family friendly place to go to. Not only is there a large skating rink but there is also a soft play area and an arcade all in one area. Close to the entrance there is also a place where you can order food and drinks. This amazing Skating place is all one building.

Had never been there prior but had my daughters BDay there today and i was blown away w the cost package, service, things for kids to do and the whole experience!!!!! I dont write reviews but was motivated to tell here out of appreciation of how great they made her party!

Kids love this place. Alot more to do than just skate. They have games and a very large jungle gym for smaller kids to play on.

I wish I can provide less than 1 star rating like a tenth or less. First time taking the kids out for roller skating on a Saturday. Arrived there at 230 and they tell me they would close in 1 hour for cleaning sessions and whatnot and will re-open at 4. I said fine we play 1 hour and then just hang outside the skating area for half an hour till they re-open. Well they said i would have to pay to enter again!!! Full price !!!I asked the manager for the reason for having to pay again and she said that’s their policy on Saturdays.What on earth is that supposed to mean? I took the kids to so many indoor playgrounds before and many of them close temporarily during the day for regular maintenance, cleaning or similar reasons but I NEVER paid again for reentry on same day.Not only do they close once per say on Saturdays, but they close again 2 hours later for cleaning and open again a half our later on same day, and people will have to pay for renter.This place is a flat out rip off !!! I highly don’t recommend it to anyone, there are tons of other replaces that offer much better and cleaner facilities . Bathrooms, and above all customer service and they don’t rip you off like this place .

Pretty decent place to spend time with your kids. We go there for the ‘kids skate free’ program for my son. The place can be crowded during weekends or when thr are bday parties.

My grand daughter had a few friends over for her 9th birthday, so I took them to the skate rink. They had so much fun!

If I could give this place 0 Stars I would.Skating rink is non existent now. Replaced by soft play areas and laser tag gimmicks. Selling out like all the other dedicated “fun centers.” I’ve been coming here for at least 25 years for a “different” active fun experience. I exposed my kids to skating and they can’t understand why they keep losing valuable rink space to skate. I am deeply saddened by this transition. I pay good money to enter this rink regularly to “skate” with my kids. I will no longer be bringing my family to play world or whatever it’s planning to be called again.What a shame skating is going the way of dinosaurs.

Place was busy. Waited an hour to get pizzas for bday party which cost 180 then spent another 80 on more pizzas that took another 50 minutes plus all the extra drinks had to buy for adults then the restrooms were super dirty and hand dryers didnt work was not the experience expected and very expensive for service that we had to keep asking for and still had to go get ourselves not sure if wed do again.

Grandson had a wonderful time for his 7th birthday. We enjoyed ourselves

Nice to see that some kids still enjoy roller skating. I wish wed had something like the skate mate training aids when I was a kid. Maybe I couldve learned how to stop without slamming into walls.They need to keep some rolls of tape for repairing shredded laces at the skate rental desk. I spent 20-25 minutes struggling to thread the frayed ends of the laces through 8 eyelets on each skate so my granddaughter could skate safely.

Kids going the opposite way make for it to be harder and less enjoyable. Still fun though

The skating and the soft play is excellent. The kids had so much fun but as a parent and as a general customer ...the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and the layers of dust around the edges of everything is just nasty. I would probably bet that the place gets cleaned maybe once a month. I stuck to almost every surface i touched .I had to unglue myself from the sticky bathroom floor in order to get to my phone to write this review. ...so PLEASE at least clean the bathrooms.

We just came to skateworld. Can’t use any of our freePasses or Groupon. They charge for everything including the helpers (over $5) for small kids that don’t have any idea how to skate and it’s dangerous. It should be required for them to provide the helpers for kids under 5 who don’t know how to skate. This is ridiculous

My daughter and I decided 2 come here 2 do sometime exciting. We had tried out the putt putt golf the course with the waterfall:) It cost 8 dollars per golfer with 18 holes. Then we had picked out our colored golf balls and golf clubs. You can order food in the golf area or inside where you skate at. While playing I managed 2 get a photo of my daughter who didnt like 2 take pictures 4 some odd reason:) There is a part when you go through the waterfall cave and then you go around until your back by the office. Also we kept track of our score on the card they give you when you purchase a course. Overall every1 in the family will had a good time and enjoy the scenery:)

I LOVE ️ to roller skate, every since I was a teenager, and to this very day, roller skating is one of my favorite hobbies!! The worker are nice and friendly!! Try it sometimes, youll have fun, I hope! -Cornita.

I was there as a guest of a birthday party. The facility seems nice, the food was ok. They had skater helpers, meant as a training aid, for $5 each, which I thought was excessive.

The place is much cleaner than it used to be. It is expensive if you dont have a coupon. On the all you can eat pizza days, I generally have to help my 9 year old son get his pizza as the workers behind the counter have a tendency to tell him they dont have any ready because the slices that are there are for others. Amazing enough, if I am there, it doesnt seem to be a problem. Very frustrating.

Holy hot breath! You can see the condensation of five hundred hot and heavy skaters lingering over the rink when you walk into the building proper. Staff wasnt rude or overly friendly, save for one good hostess who helped out with our birthday party. Not a bad experience overall. Typical of what I expected of a roller rink: loud music, lots of kids, and flashing lights. Brought back memories...

I always love going skating with my kids here, but the limited hours they are open makes it hard to have a good time at times...like tonight, for example. There are 2-3 birthday parties going on at the same time along with all the other regular skaters. Meaning, there are a ton of people here, many younger children, so the floor is packed with skaters leaving little room to actually enjoy yourself. The inexperienced skaters have a hard time skating and the experienced ones do as well. Skateworld really needs to open earlier in the day to have designated hours for the birthday parties. We did not have a good time tonight and for $60, we should have!

The rental skates arent in the best shape. As an adult visiting to try to remember how to skate it was scary to dodge the kids. My friend fell down a couple times and I was the only one who made sure she was ok. Didnt dock more stars because its not aimed at adults.

They keep changing things around. The lack of video games now from what they had before is sad. Still a fun place to take the family. The floor is smooth and the music is good. Thats all you really need anyway.
