Train ride is awesome and long compared to national zoo. The carousel is also a hidden gem. This park has everything for kids.

Carousel was closed for maintenance, but enjoyed the train and mini golf course. Prices are high with no regard for childrens ages ($2 per person for train and $5 per person for golf if youre county residents. Slightly higher for out of county visitors although no one ever asks for residency status). Theres a few vending machines for snacks and drinks, lots of places to sit and eat your own food if you bring it. Most areas accommodate strollers/wheelchairs including the main bathrooms which are in good condition. The largest playground is mostly shaded, but fills up fast. Recommend early morning if you want to use the Wizard of Oz theme playground. An additional playground further back with a race horse theme is usually less crowded.

The kids love it

Fun place to take young children for affordable fun. There is mini golf, a carousel, train around the park, a Wizard of Oz themed playground, and a free petting zoo. There are many public restrooms amd pininc areas. Its a great place to spend the day.

Its mini gold course for 5 bucks. You get exactly what you would expect, a fun afternoon with a few bumps here and there that add personality.
