Well for me it was clean enough, easy to locate your movie room. I suppose the seats are okay! The service providers could have been more welcoming. But I think its all about who is working the floor!! Overall I had a great experience!! My first movie theater to go to in over 20 years!! Hahahaha soooooooo. I think the movie was great in sound and film!! It was a war movie and I think it was called 1919 ?? A superb movie...
The place has changed since I went there last. We went inside to get the ticket, well actually my daughter is the one who drew the snow dragon on the window so we didnt have to get a ticket she got in free that day including ME! But she did tell me that you have to go to a computer to get a ticket, OMG, ELECTRONICS R TAKING OVER!! And Im computer illiterate! I still like going to the movies. It wasnt dirty, their werent any screaming kids and the movie (HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 3), was awesome!
Great ticket prices, and really seems like they are working hard to keep patrons safe
I love this theater. It’s always clean and everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait for the threater to open back up, my husband and I will be there!God bless you all and let’s get this show on the road.
It was wonderful. Theatre is very clean.
Great theater! The prices have always been good. Overall the staff are very friendly and caring individuals.
My daughter and I just went and saw Countdown. We were the only 2 in the theater. It was like our own private showing. Been here many times. Lots of room. Lots of concessions. Lots of games.
Pretty clean. Comfortable chairs. Would be nice if patrons would take their trash out and deposit it trash cans provided.
Overall experience was good, movie seats are comfortable but could have more wiggle room. Prices at the snack bar & drink prices seem high. I live in Houston & this place is high from what Im used to.
Love this theater its the best
The staff is always nice and its close. Prices are good for admission, with the price of concessions being on par with most theaters. The issue for me: most of the screens are way too dark. If the movie has a lot of dark scenes during nighttime or whatnot, it can be hard to see whats happening. Go rarely as a result of this issue. If this were to be fixed, I suspect attendence would jump big time!
My experience has always been that the theater is clean, and cool. Their concession stand is consistent with their food, drinks, and snacks. I drive from Fredericksburg because I believe this theater is better. Also, they have the greatest hot dogs
Came in at 6pm, retrieved tickets and proceeded to concession. I asked the young lady if the hotdogs in the roller were old and she was like yeah, so I asked her if they were going to make fresh ones and she said probably not but she didnt know the policy on hotdogs! I said nevermind forget it, those dogs looked burned and dried out, very old. This is Friday night and you have nothing to serve but stale popcorn. This is unacceptable.
Fire Exit door on theater#1 was locked could not use. Movie was Great. 8 November 2019, 12:00 showing.
We came for a noon showing of Star Wars. Ordered hot dogs as did a few other guests & were told they wouldnt be ready for 20-30 minutes! Now, on opening day for a movie that people have waited literally decades for & you are not prepared to sell whats on the menu tells me the management doesnt really care about his guests. The people that work there are obviously there to collect their hourly wage, as theres not one smile on any of the staffs faces. It was so cold in theater #10 that even my husband never took his heavy coat off. I had on a heavy sweater & had to keep the cowl neck up over my face. We did finally get our hot dogs after over 30 minutes, the buns were cold & stale & my husband missed the first 5 minutes of the movie. Its just sad that this place is run so complacently since the closest competition is 30 minutes away in another town.
Typical Movie theatre prices, only flaw was that about a quarter of the way through the movie, we wanted pop corn and the snack bar was already closed. Our movie started at 6 pm so it was like 645 when we went to try and get pop corn.
Great place to watch movies and relax. Kinda small which is great because you dont have to deal with throngs of people.
It was okay. Not even close to the best theater I have ever been to but not the worst. For it being the only one in town I was surprised how run down it was. Most staff were nice but when I tried to tell one of the ladies the popcorn oil was burning and she bit my head off and told me she knew what was happening. This was the same girl who sold me a product they did not have. I found out after waiting almost 5 min they were out. The gentleman who helped was very nice. One of the other workers apologized for her behavior. The seats are okay. I guess when it is the only place in town they dont have to try and make it nice for people. Great movie though.
I like the handicapped sections. the chairs are comfortable but some of the arms need to be repaired.
Loved the movie Yesterday but lines were long and you couldnt buy a ticket and get your get your food or drink as they had seperated the lines due to volume of people. The problem appeared to be the self serve ticket machine was out of order. Not good during summer and a weekend. Still the cashier, a young teenage boy, was very patient and courteous with customers. Ill go back but get there earlier.
Great prices and nice selection of drinks and snacks. Sound quality is pretty good. Clean.
Very bad experience last time we went! Nothing but rude children working there now! The so called manager was very rude! Very unorganized now! Very disappointed! No air conditioning was on anywhere in the building, and trash all over the floor everywhere. I used to love taking my daughter there! Will be driving to Boerne for a movie from now on!!
Patrick needs to find someone to record the movie times with a better louder clear voice instead of him doing it himself. He sounds like a sick little bird chirping the movie times. its been like that for years. common be a little more professional when announcing your movies. I went to hear the movie times for ANNABELLE Comes Home. All I heard was Anna. Didnt know what the hell it was he was saying. at least get the movie names right. common Patrick hall get with the program.
I love that not only do they have comfy seats and good snacks but that it is now clean and neat in there. And smells better too.
I enjoyed the movie. It was very nice and clean
Movie theater is a little run down. Watched an ok movie. But I need to give the girl that assisted me 5 stars she was very polite and pleasant and enjoyed our short conversation, I believed she said her name was Elizabeth
First time ever at this movie theater and I am not to impressed. The sound barrier between the movie viewing rooms sucked!
The great part is its a cheap way to go to the movies. You wont find better prices. However screens are small and sound isnt great. Also outdated seating. A town as large as Kerrville can do better
Nice theater, multiple screens. But closed temporarily, due to an recent unrelated police matter.
It was wonderful when this theater was newly opened but its been deteriorating since that day. Its discouraging. I try it periodically because its local (even though Id rather have the recliner seating I can enjoy in SA). Everytime I walk in I see something has been removed or not kept up. I dont enjoy the appearance. Today I thought it would probably smell better if they cleaned the carpet in the foyer. Then I thought they should wipe down the counters and clean the butter dispenser area. But decided I shoul stop thinking about that & go enjoy the movie. A few minutes into the movie the projector quit working. Hmmm.
Great prices, top movies, comfy seats!
Best movies in town. Very clean
We really enjoyed just wish there was more inspiring Christian movies
Went to see A Dogs Journey. Had a wonderful time. Great movie.
Clean movie theaters and nice employees
Clean. Awesome staff. Sound system top-notch. Ticket prices fantastic. I wont whine about concession prices. Thats the only thing keeping first run theaters alive these days. Better than anything where we moved from.
We just moved here and went to see Avengers endgame! It was so good.. theatre seats were not that great and very uncomfortably close to row behind each other. I’m reviewing one star because when credits with all the stars pictures began to roll the usher/ waiting to clean yelled at us all to not wait and leave and there is not credits. Those of us that didn’t get up right away he kept walking past cleaning and giving us stink eye to leave. They were mad and obviously trying to get us to leave early. Very threatening and trashy. We told the manager and he was rude and a young kid that didn’t care and actually turned it around on us. We will not go there again. Not worth the 40$ I spent.
Just watched Gemini Man... entertaining.
Nice small multi screen theater. Very nice restrooms.
Very clean, nice employees, all the latest movies, same ridicules high prices for food & drink as everyone else. Good prices for movies and the biggest parking lot Ive ever seen at a theater. Well lit.
Good theaters, need more people working up front
Just moved to Kerrville. Movie was scheduled to start at 8 pm, as of this minute we have sat through 12 minutes of commercials. Previews havent even started yet. I will probably end up taking the nice drive to boerne to the AMC theater there to avoid the 12 minutes of garbage commercials and thats not including the garbage commercials before the official start time!!
Really good will go again I saw toy story 4
If there was another theater in Kerrville it would definitely put this one out of business. It is dirty and poorly staffed.
Smelled like piss. Drink was flat. Waited outside to buy tickets no one came to the window no sign saying purchase tickets at kiosk had to figure that out on our own
Only theater in town and the seats are comfortable. Whats not to like?
The place needs help. No one is outside in the booth selling tickets. You have to wait in the line with the concessions to buy your ticket. If your running a little late your screwed. There is one self service kiosk. The carpet smells like it has not been shampooed in months. The bathrooms are not clean. Thats why people take there money to San Antonio.
Theater was clean and pleasant.
Watched 2 movies in the same day had fun good theater
Rio 10 is Awesome. They allowed my buddies production company use a theater to fine toon our movie Colossal Youth. To be in Theaters soon.
Went to what was supposed to be a 1245 showing of Wont You Be My Neighbor. Sat through 40 minutes of advertisement. Then The Incredibles came on. The signs were mixed up on theaters 8 and 9! I got a refund and a non-apology. What stunk is- I had planned this for my afternoon on my only full day off. I live 10 miles out of town. And I was really looking forward to it.
The seats were fine and but the staff is overwhelmingly underqualified. The pickup tickets didnt work and none of the 15 year old staff knew what to do
Good movie theatre...also offers a military discount.
Cool place to see a movie
Cute old school cinema. Great staff!!
Not bad place and way more affordable than the ones in SATX
My backpack purse nearly wasnt allowed into the theater area. Took it off my back and showed the man taking tickets that it was a purse with a purse handle also. Then... It got searched. Very uncomfortable experience and the ladies in front of me had backpack purses, yet I was stopped, almost not allowed in with my purse. I understand safety, but geez?(Gave three stars because the popcorn was yummy, clean restrooms, and the movie itself was good.)
Great place. Friendly staff. I will go there in the future. I only wish they had better sets
Dismal lobby. Wish they would clean up all the spilled pop corn. Theaters are okay. Comfortable seats. Must check schedule weekly because movies dont stay long.
Under new management, and staff. Very good service and attention to our needs.
Great, helpful people and comfy seats!
A nice and clean movie theater. Prices are very reasonable at 5 bucks for a matinee.
Its clean, the people are friendly and there is not a bunch of drug addicts hanging out in there like some of the theaters in San Antonio.
Mixed feelings here....decent theater at best, went for opening night to watch Creed II and screen was relatively small (although sound was pretty good) and theater was filthy also, it is pretty much the only movie option in Kerrville and the ticket cost was reasonably cheap (with military discount) thus the 4 stars.
This place has gone so downhill over the years. Its dirty. And someone stands there and goes through purses... NOT KIDDING! I thought maybe it was for firearms. But, after the guy took a ladies gummy bears from her its for contraband snacks... REALLY???? I wouldnt let a policeman search my bag without a search warrant. But these creeps do it for gummy bears.Again, its super dirty and now super creepy. A drive to Boerne from now on.
Saw Call of the Wild this afternoon
Had a great time with early Mothers Day celebration with my oldest son, Long Shot movie with Seth Rogan was hilarious, great price, great surround sound but seat cushions need repair
3D Godzilla, I didnt notice anything 3D and movie not as good as last one.
We enjoyed ourselves
Screens are dark. Popcorn sometimes stale. Closed caption devices almost never work. Employees for the most part have been friendly. Please fix your caption viewers--is it really that hard?
I would rate this theatre a 5, but there is an issue so crucial that it ruins the cinematic experience for me, so I have to give it a 1. The issue is the screens. Either they just don’t change the bulbs in the projectors or there is some other technical issue that is causing the picture to be dark and faded. So much so that in scenes that take place at night or in dark rooms, etc, I really can’t even see what’s going on. It’s not my eyes, because I have watched a movie here and not been able to see a thing during scenes of semi darkness (and even in bright scenes there are things I’ll miss because of the faded darkness) then watched the movie at home on my Samsung flatscreen and everything during those scenes was bright and clear. So it is definitely an issue with the screens. Other than that though the place is great and I enjoy watching films here. It would be awesome if they fixed this issue.
Nice theater but all of the staff was behind the counter. Would have been an easier experience if there was separate box office staff, concession and ticket takers/ guides.
Its ok kinda clean, some rude workers but by the help wanted signs that might change.
You know, I like going to the movies but really, why does the sound have to be so loud?
Only movie house in miles, but instead of capitalizing on it, they do their best to offer good prices and a great experience. Lots of variety in the food court (cotton candy! Yum!) Seats are comfortable and sound does not shatter your ear drums.
Kind of a pig sty...not staffs fault. Its just the way its run.Seats are Ok. Needs a tenovation BADLY
A little outdated but a nice theater. Clean.
It a movie theater..clean enough.
Its always a little cold inside in the winter, dress appropriately.
Love taking the kids here to watch movies.
Never had a problem here. Its a small town with a small theater.
Yea, soda cups arent flimsy and hold up now. No more crushed cups dumping soda in your lap and on your shirt.
Best theater west of San Antonio in Hill Country. Worth driving up from Leakey to catch a movie. Clean theater and lots of screens.
All the electronic ticket machines were down, my family and I had to stand in long concession stand lines to purchase tickets, our movie was scheduled to start at 6:20 we arrived at 6:05, we finally got our tickets at 6:35, in my opinion they should have used one line just for tickets (since the ticket machines were down) and the rest for tickets and snacks, luckily when we got to our seats the previews were still going so we didnt miss any of the movie
They need more combo deals. Theater needs a deep cleaning. Musky smell. Restrooms should be checked more often.
Good place to watch movies. Nothing special but good and clean; always a plus!
I like the Rio 10 Cinema in Kerrville. I have lived in small towns and this is far superior to some I have attended. Yes, they have high refreshment prices, but not near as high as theaters in San Antonio. Staff is always nice, despite some of the customers, who are not. Yes, it gets cluttered, especially on weekends. Some people who go there are pigs so I would imagine it is hard to keep it clean. If people would put their trash in the trash receptacles instead of in the seats or on the floor, like they should, it would not get so cluttered. Keep up the good work. Good to see young people working and with such good attitudes.
Clean and customer service was good
Cute theater!! Very fair prices on tickets and refreshments!! Very friendly staff too!!!
There were about 7 people working and only one person on the register inside. I was trying to get tickets to see incredibles 2. The person in front of us was ordering popcorn and other stuff. I finally asked if someone could help us. I asked for 3 tickets and then went to go in and the person said I only had 2 tickets. So I had to go back again to get another ticket. Once again I had to get someone to help me. The same people were still there ordering stuff. Employees were not friendly and they were all talking at the end of the counter instead of taking care of customers. The ticket taker and older man was also rude. I was just trying to bring my granddaughter to a movie. So sad customer does not come first.
I am so grateful to have a theater near Comfort the ushers are so helpful and kind its nice to have so many picture shows to choose from Thank you Rio 10 Kerrville we appreciate yall.Sincerley Carrie from Comfort
Great Hometown Cinema. Great deals on Senior tickets for matinees.
I mean think about it, at least Kerrville even has a movie theater. The only thing they need to work on is that its so dirty. Its greasy everywhere, and there is spilled butter all on the floor. But it has a lot of theaters and is a great place to spend part of your Friday night with your friends.
We used to dislike going to the only movie theater in Kerrville. The theaters smelled musty and dirty. The smell was overpowering. The bad odors are gone! The theater is pleasant again.
Good prices on movies, and always a great selection of movies, nice clean theater.
Nice theater, generally clean. Never had any issues with movies running. However, several of the concessionists have attitudes. They are always hiring ... not sure what that shows
Dim projector bulb. Made for a very dark movie. I didn’t know theaters still ripped off their customers in this way. I will not go back to the Rio 10.
Small theater, but nice friendly staff...
Rio 10 in Kerrville is a great place to see some decent movies. I enjoy the theater very much. The staff have always been polite and helpful. No complaints! Keep up the good work.
