Cool place to sit and have lunch. You have the Green River right there across the street. Some of the weekdays, in mornings to early afternoon, you will catch some of the Old Schools, out having fun, flying their remote controlled airplanes, helicopters, and jets. It is also the Historical Landmark, of the infamous Beer Bottle Beach. If you remember those awesome party days of the last three decades of the 20th centry, that took place here. Im guessing we are considered to some as OldSchool. Lol. I still say nah its just the last days of Jr. High.

There is a lot of great fishing along this stretch of the Green River....in more ways than one. You can definitely catch Kings and silvers, as well as.a.few.steelhead in the February time frame. You just have to watch out for the homosexuals who like having sex along the river in this area. They are there throughout the various fishing seasons, so.....be cautious of strangers with candy. :)

This area has become a place you do not want to venture in the evening times

This is a King County Park that has soccer fields and a large community garden. Soccer fields are maintained by Kent Covington Youth Soccer. The main parking lot is located south of the soccer fiends and north of the garden. The soccer association opens up additional parking to the north during soccer events. There are portable toilets providing during the soccer season and months of the garden.

Amazedif u love or enjoy nature this is the best place to have quiet alone time with nature and your higher power. For me thats Jesus Christ

I grew up on this River... Many awesome memories

Its nice to a point. Not many beach areas or even bank for that matter. There is tons of traffic so that makes it difficult to get around on foot even tho you wanna walk the beautiful river road. Beware of tweekers at the end of the road!!!! They assaulted my boyfriend and I because they thought we were someone else. Who was telling ppl were their camp was. They leave garbage everywhere and needles too!! Just awful!!!

Its called the Pea Patch. The fields are horribly bumpy, but the area is scenic.
