We love Harts Gymnastics!! Linda is so patient and helpful when it comes to schedules. And the coaches have always treated my daughter with such respect and built up her confidence so much! Thank you for being so great!
We love it here!!!My daughter started in 2016 and so far has won the State All Around in her first 2 seasons of team competition for her age group. It has brought her a positive attitude about herself and her relationship with others. Even though she is busy almost every day with gym practice, her grades have even improved since before she did gymnastics.Who says it is too late to start? She was 12 when she competed in her first year on team. The head coach, Coach Dave, has over 30 years of coaching experience and is very passionate about gymnastics. It shows when his gymnasts win medal after medal during competition season. The Harts Gymnastics Team is a very small group and the location is so convenient. The girls are very close and are gym sisters. They always want to be together and when not in the gym, like to play around and practice their skills. We will never move to another gym.
My daughter indicated her interest to get into competitive gymnastics. We went to this center, the front desk person was nice and we were asked to come the following week at 7 pm for assessment. We showed up for the scheduled assessment and my daughter was asked to join a class. I was wondering why she would do a class when we had come in just for an assessment, thought the coach in the class would be the one evaluating her. 5 min into the class, I figured that it was a beginners class. The front desk person pointed to one of the coach that was coaching another class and told me she will keep an eye on my daughter and assess how she was doing. I didnt how they would do that. Half way through the class, the front desk person came over and told me that my daughter wasnt a beginner(which I had already told them) and guessed the next level would be the right one. The 55 min class was finally over and there was no sign of any coach that was actually assessing her, neither the one that was in the current class, nor the one that I was told was keeping an eye on my daughter. I didnt get to talk to any coach. I was extremely disappointed with this negligent attitude. Such a waste of time! Ofcourse, I decided not to enroll my daughter here. She now takes classes in another gymnastics center and we are very happy with the way she was assessed, her current lessons as well as the level of interaction/feedback they have between the coach and the parent.
Experienced and friendly staff members that will guide your child down the road to gymnastics success. Nothing handed to the kids here... they will have to work hard for sure. Highly recommended!
I love Hart’s Gymnastics! I started about 3 years ago and absolutely loved it! The coaches were not only sweet and kind but funny as well. I have achieved so much from Hart’s I didn’t know I could even attempt. The friendships I’ve made and how polite everyone is really draws me into the gym. They push my to be the best gymnast I can be while having fun in the process. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about starting gymnastics!
Completely horrible customer service. Was enrolled for half a class session and my mom tried to get a discount because I had missed HALF the classes so of course we were not going to pay the full price for half a session. Desk person was completely rude and did not even give us a chance to explain before the owner came and KICKED US OUT OF THE CLASSES. Do not recommend at all bring your kids somewhere friendly and safe which is NOT Hart’s gymnastics.
I have a 7 year old daughter who has been going to this gym now for almost a month, and she loves it. I think she enjoys the variety of activities and movements. She has already made friends, the staff is friendly, most of the people have been friendly at this point. She was going to Metropolitan gymnastics for about 5 months and she used to complain it was too difficult. Now I understand that people dont like to be taken out of their comfort zone so I used to push her just to try, but her Saturday class would come and she never wanted to go and I had to explain to her that I had paid for it. I must say she hasnt complained about going to Harts gymnastics and is excited to go every time. What I do like is the program that they offer to low-income or families that receive free lunch at school, your child is eligible to receive a discount if you go through the City of Kent and instead of paying I believe 75 to $80 you only pay half that cost for an entire month of classes. So theres a plug for them! I definitely appreciate them working with the city to offer their program to less fortunate children and families. To my knowledge Metropolitan gymnastics did not offer a discount program. In addition, at Harts gymnastics I did notice the girls are very good at bar work, balance beams, and the coaches seem very serious as well as the kids. I think were going to stay at this place for a while I would definitely recommend this place and if you cannot afford it go through the City of Kent and ask for the scholarship program and pick a program for your child that they would enjoy it doesnt have to necessarily be gymnastics.
We love Hart’s! We have been coming here for 5 years. 3 of my 4 kids are in programs here. All of my children have special needs, and the coaches at Hart’s have been so accommodating and understanding with my children. Gymnastics has opened up a new world for them socially, physically, and emotionally. They have made friends, gained physical strength and stamina, and every small milestone they reach has given them enormous confidence and pride. Every coach here is wonderful, and Linda is amazing. They all work so hard for these kids, and make everyone feel supported and valued. Hart’s is truly a second family for our kids! We have sent over a few families over the years, and they all love it here!
This is a large gym with lots of fantastic equipment for gymnasts.
I really enjoy bringing my 2 year old here. She has so much fun and begs to come all week. The front desk staff are friendly and the instructors for toddlers are awesome, very patient and knowledgeable!
Great gymnastics program for kids of all skill levels. Coachs are good and really care. Classes are popular and space is limited in many of the classes with waiting lists for the most popular ones.
We had a great experience at Harts Gymnastics Center. From when we walked in and were greated by Linda who was super friendly and helped us get situated throughout the rest of our time with coach Tammie who my kids adored.
I am a student here at Hart’s and I really like it they push me to levels I’ve never thought I could be to the staff is incredibly kind I love this place ️Hart’s gymnastics
Horrible service both the owner and the secretary or whatever she was made false claims based on selfish reasons. Only care about money, kicked out a customer just because the parent tried to clarify unfair charges made to them, even though the parent still paid and the kid was still a customer. Overall judgmental people.
They lie about the sections of the class the student attended, and they are very rude, kick out the kid out of the class without explaining anything to the kid but just kept yelling, talk bad about the parent in front the kid even the parent did not say and do anything wrong. they just want to shut your mouth, keep the money that does not belong them, horrible!
Its a good place if you have older kids that a readu have experienced on gymnastics not to have your kids start there introduction to the world of gymnastics. I have my 3 year old toddler going to a class, he is like any other 3 year-old. the instructor came up to me at the end of the class and told me my son was very bad and that if it was to happends again, she wouldnt want him in her class. I dont understand what are they expecting from a 3 year old kid and its not like if it is free for one, another thing is that if they have class from 3-5 year olds they should expect kids behavior, there instructors are not up to the challenge. I dont understand why they would be working there of they cant handle it.
I am a level 10 and have gone here for 7 years and i absolutely love it
Great gymnastics center. The staff are very knowledgeable, and encouraging.
The technical training my granddaughter received was ok, but the emotional abuse was unforgivable. She is still having Harts Gymnastics nightmares. On repeated occasions I requested meetings with management, but was denied. Clearly, there appears to be a lack of concern regarding their negative impact upon the life of a young girl. I strongly suggest avoiding Harts!
The staff are kind and good to kids but the owner is unfriendly and a bit rude. The young female coaches are really good with the lil kids.
I love It because my kids love it
