Awesome trails going through some of the only totally UNTOUCHED woods that are the same as they were thousands of years ago! Theres even a portion of the original Green Bay trail that the Indians walked from the south end of Lake Michigan all the way up to Green Bay Wisconsin and is why close by Green Bay road is named what it is!

Enjoyed hikes on gravel and mulch trails. Historic buildings moved to the property show school and community functions of a bygone era. Public amphitheater seating and a wedding venue building are available on the grounds as well. The trails were a bit wet when we visited, with some mud.

After driving all the way to the back, we parked our car near a discreetly tucked away porta-potty. There is also a small building with information and photos for the visitors. Personalized bricks are available for purchase that are then placed on the floor in front of the visitors building. Classes, concerts, tours and options for wedding photography are available.

I have been coming to Hawthorn Hollow since I was a kid with my family to go on walks and look at the historic buildings and I recently had my wedding ceremony there. I was touched by the amount of effort that Sarah went to in trying to make my wedding the best it could possibly be. She went above and beyond making it so every situation would be covered - rain or shine - and played a large part in my day being so special! I highly recommend having events here and taking advantage of the beautiful location!

I love Hawthorne Hallow. Beautiful scenery with any trail you take and absolutely awesome close up views of remarkable landmarks in the area. I was able to see some of the most colorful flowers blooming when I took my morning walk there. It is the perfect spot to go on a nature hike and enjoy the quiet scenery during the day.

Dont try to book your wedding here. They cancelled my wedding because the employee apparently didnt know she couldnt double book even though my wedding was in a different location on the property. They messed everything up and I pretty much had to start all over with my ceremony. Its been hectic since.

A beautiful non-profit nature sanctuary and arboretum located off of Green Bay Road in Kenosha, WI.They offer many activities throughout the year including tapping sugar bushes in March for maple syrup; many bird watching walks through the season; seeding of heritage plants; Breakfast with the Birds in May, crafting projects like trellis, bird houses, quilting, candle making, live music during the summer, and so much more.Take a walk around and enjoy yourself.
