It was my first time painting pottery and I absolutely loved it. Great selection of items to choose from. Loved the concept too! Perfect for a family night out or just girls out.

Had a great deal of fun with our four years old painting up some cool ceramic pieces.

We stopped in to buy a gift certificate here, and when we saw the inside, we decided to try it out. There are tons of cool pieces of pottery to choose from. You can sit down and paint at your own pace. There are tons of colors, various painting implements, and even some snacks you can buy. We can pick up our fired pieces in a week.

They have a variety of ceramic options to choose from. I was honestly surprised to see cool-shaped mugs, cute little figurines, the classic dinnerware/vases, and pet-inspired dishes and photo frames. The staff were friendly and very easy to talk to. $7 studio fee and then whatever the cost of the piece you pick. You can return to pick up your project in one week.

Super cute place. I love the atmosphere. The little kids area place came in handy after my son was done painting his pumpkin. Great idea. Can’t wait till Christmas. All our Christmas gifts will be painted here

Ive been to a holiday party and birthday party at Alpaca, things went very smoothly and everyone had a great time. They offered tips and tricks and have a wide variety of options. For parties you get to bring in your own catering.

The people were very helpful. I made a bowl that had a guy at the bottom and he said hyeh. Also I saw like two people from my elementary school. There was a girl I had a crush on in fifth grade and also one of the special ed teachers. So that was cool. I didnt say anything to either of them, but I feel like the girl might have recognized me. Perhaps we both wanted to talk to each other but it would have been awkward. Alas, it is a shame. Okay bye.

This was a really fun evening and date. I would suggest it for couple and families. The costs were reasonable and the staff was really helpful. Ill be back for sure with my son.

This place is wonderful!!! They have a decent selection of items to paint at fair prices. Theres even an option to order items theyve previously had if you dont see what youre looking for.

My 5 year old had a bday party here and we (and our guests) were very impressed! Very friendly and helpful staff, great selection of party package items to choose from for painting, nice decorations and we were able to bring in our own food. Highly recommend.

The staff helped and educated a group of us during Alpacas galaxy painting night. The pace was relaxed; the instructor was quick and intuitive in her assistance. The hardest part was picking out what piece i wanted to paint!

Very nice people here. Becky and Brenda(the sisters) have moved recently to the near north side of Kenosha. The new space is nice. It is so much fun to sit there with family or a friend and do the ceramic artwork. Fun, economical, and friendly. Highly recommended for kids and adults alike!

Great place to go with kids or adults, family or friends. Staff is friendly and went out of their way to help me. Cool atmosphere, and the band that sometimes plays sounds great too. An employee with a Fallout nametag (whos name escapes me) was very helpful and on top of things. Overall, very nice.

Went to my first 2nd Friday wine night with a group of friends. SO MUCH FUN! Bring your own snacks, drinks and got to listen to an amazing Jazz band, which played Swing type music. Cant wait to go back again for an adult night. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for something different to do!

Cute little store that lets you paint your own pottery. Reasonably priced for a trip out. I went with my bridesmaids and had a great time. It is a family friendly and neat place to exercise some creativity.

Its very fun to go there. You can walk in at any time when theyre open and pick the piece you want to paint and they provide the brushes and paint. They also have classes in ceramics and different kinds of painting.

I love Alpaca Art but today they scorned me. I live far away but I drive the 30 minutes to Kenosha because I really like it. The policy is that your pottery is finished in a week. I, as planned, went in a week later to their new location and alas my pottery was not ready because not everything had been fired in the move. They said they called people but I thoroughly scoured my phone records and I was never notified. So I lost an hour of my day driving there and back and will have to waste another hour and 48 miles all together worth of gas to get my polka dot cup and soup bowl embellished with a sublime, forest scene. Here is an extensive list of all the things I could do with the two hours lost to Alpaca Arts egregious mistake:- Lint roll all of my socks- Mop my linoleum floor- Paint an accent wall- Use star stickers to turn my bedroom into outer space- Wax my linoleum floor- repot my 2 plants- Water my two plants- Reorganize my sock drawer- Drive to both of the pottery places nearer to me than Alpaca Art that won’t destroy my hopes and dreams and car mileage- Pick out a New linoleum pattern for my linoleum floor- not feel broken hearted and cup and bowl-lessI could also write a list for all I could have done with that $3 in gas I wasted but I will spare you. Anyway... I loved you guys and you hurt me. I shall never forget. 3 stars.

This is a wonderful family friendly store. They have a large variety of pre molded ceramics for you and your kids to paint and get fired to completion (they do the fitting, so no worries about that).They also do occasional late night events for adults.I would definitely recommend this spot!

Some of the pieces are a little pricey but its worth it when you can make it your own. Its a great place to get creative and also to make gifts!

This pottery shop is a GREAT place to go when you need to relax and paint pottery. They have enough space to host large group parties at reasonable rates. They have snacks and drinks for sale- you can also bring in your own food for parties. They host a wine night (BYOW/B) with a live jazz band once a month, a ladies night, movie nights with themed paintings, and many different classes geared towards different age groups.The staff is always super friendly, helpful, and never intimidating when I ask about different techniques. And the owners, Becky and Brend, are some of the coolest, down-to-earth ladies that I have ever met.

This place is awesome! I love going there and spending a few hours relaxing, chatting with friends, and working on a project (or 2... or 5... youll understand ). Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable about lots of different techniques and they are eager to help out if you ask. They have everything you need to complete your project, all you need to do is decide what you want to create (whether your project is big or small, takes an hour or takes a year, everything is included in the studio fee, even the glazing and firing). When you decide you are done, you leave your item there for it to be glazed and fired and it will be ready to be picked up in only one week.The place is a bit of a diamond in the rough, being located in Kenoshas Historic (~dumpy~) Downtown, but somehow that fits Alpaca perfectly. They hold lots of events and they are available for booking parties or other gatherings (they must be contacted in advance to work out the details). There is extremely limited parking in the front, but there is a large parking lot in the back and customers are free to use the back door.Check out their website and their Facebook page to learn more, or just stop by and check it out for yourself and enjoy the experience in person!

The best family friendly activity available in Downtown Kenosha every day.This locally owned shop provides a HUGE selection of pottery to be customized. Whether you want a mug that no one at the office dare steal, or a giant lawn gnome for the garden, alpaca has you covered. I take my daughter here almost weekly and we never run out of new, exciting creations.Not looking for family fun? You can also bring a bottle of wine and spend time getting creative with your best pals. I run a local restaurant and many of my staff members spend their day off here sipping wine and painting. P.s. pick up your wine at The Buzz downtown :)They also organize childrens parties as well as adult get-togethers like ladies night. If youve lived here all your life, or youre just visiting, alpaca should be on your list of activities.
