Debbie in the office is always friendly and helpful. They greet you with a smile and guide you to your reserved spot. The RV site is clean and attractive and very well kept. We were not able to use the showers due to covid but the laundry rooms were open. Very clean and functional. This is our third year to stay with them and we would definitely come back.
Beautiful, well maintained park with high standards and competitive rates. The 7mph speed limit is painstaking, and definitely enforced
What a great stop! Thank you for being amazing wish more parks were like this place! Stayed one night in the gravel lot full hooks, propane on site easy to get in spaces. Easy freeway access!
Columbia Sun RV is a nice RV park right off the highway and down some roads (takes a few minutes to get there), but the facilities and the space is really nice. You get some room from other RVs, it has water and electric hook ups, and the pricing is pretty average. Staff here are super nice, and you can check in late at their board outside in case their office is closed.
This park is great. Big space, green grass. Very well maintained, and organized. There is some shade the trees are still young so it will only get better. The only thing I dont like is that some people think they need very bright runway lights on or under their RV. We had to shut our shades at night to block all those lights. Makes star gazing impossible.
This park/resort is hands down the most beautiful and well maintained park that we have had the pleasure to experience. With Covid 19, some of the Amenities are shut down or closed. Great place to land and enjoy relaxing and quiet times. Recommend to everyone. The staff are fantastic and welcoming plus helpful for all your camping needs. They even have ice cream cart that travels around selling but of course ice cream... Great touch.
We were disappointed when we first got here being put in a back corner of the monthlys but as soon as we could move we really enjoyed our stay. Great grounds they concerned pay attention to details in the park and it shows. We will be going back.
There is a reason why this place is the number one RV location in the state! This place is amazing and the people are great. Had to test if the Tesla would charge via the RV plugs they had available. Worked great! The grounds are immaculately maintained and staff love what they do. For Tesla owners with a 14-50 outlet you will be charged by morning.
Had all the amenities that I would normally use, sadly, most are closed through no fault of their own. Super nice place to camp. Clean, great staff, and extremely well kept.
Very nice park. Near town, easy in and easy freeway access. If passing through would stay there again.
First off, this is a fantastic, well run, busy campground. It appears that the owner(s) has spared no expense and it shows! There are plenty of things for kids to do: swimming, bounce house, playground, games, etc. They are serious about child safety so drive slow! Our parking spot was gravel, level, power (50 & 30), sewer (25 hose might not reach!!), water (80 psi so bring a reducer!), and cable. Each site appeared to have a dog tiedown and beautiful green grass. Now the unhappy: they dont reserve specific spots so when you show up they give you whats available in the AREA you reserved. No show stopper there. But when I reserved I asked for certain spots that were facing a certain direction and was told that shouldnt be a problem. Well, we didnt get what I wanted, presumably because I reserved 1.5 months in advance and they are more like 2 to 3 months out for the better spots. Book early, I guess. The spot we got was just fine just not what I was hoping for. Those are the breaks. All told, this is a gem in the Tri-Cities and we will be back!
Great place to RV and relax. If you need more there is shopping the unique office store with a lot of novel gifts and gadgets. The resort is known for its home made ice cream which they use an antique John Deer engine. This happens couple times a week. Plus a family favorite pancake breakfast on Saturdays, add fruit or other treats to the cooking. We enjoy the wine tasting, there is a nice pool. A large assortment of yard games. What kind of RV site do you like? This resort has every kind of site possible, back in or pull through, gravel or paved, all your choice. Some occasional traffic noise but far less than most resorts this handy to an interstate. Also if youre into exploring the town. Youll find the Columbia River and all kinds of related family activity. Within a few miles there are local shops to shop and visit, everything from big box stores to sophisticated wineries and a country mercantile with fresh made breads, chocolates, preserves and much more.
Great rv park very clean. This park is owned by G7 resorts we have stayed in 3 of there resorts all are very nice.
Great place for an overnight. Close to the highway and fuel nearby. Clean restrooms as well.
Clean and well taken care of. Plenty of room for the dogs! Nice to have a couple fenced in areas for them to relax!
This is a pretty nice RV park. They have a great little store that has most of your small last minute needs to make your stay more comfortable. Nice staff. They helped me out when I ran out of propane. Overall a nice place to stay.
Great place. Large sites all FHUs
When we arrived at Columbia Sun, we were welcomed like family. The park itself was well maintained, the sites are some of the largest we have seen. While we there, they did a noticeable upgrade to the WiFi as well. The restrooms, laundry and exercise rooms were extremely clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming as well.
Nicest park in the area and friendly staff.
Beautiful park, well run and maintained. Will definitely return.
Stayed 3 nights here while passing through to Bend. Weve been traveling for 6 months and stayed in 20 different RV resorts and this one is probably still my favorite. Amazing bathrooms that are modern, well maintained and above all, spotless. The site we stayed in was a level, paved pull through which has golf like grass and a nice picnic table. Site was huge for our 22 foot airstream and even with our SUV still had plenty of room. Full hookups that are nicely arranged. Pool and hot tub was popular but we didnt use it. Great walking area for the dogs and several enclosed dog areas as well. We had a great experience here and wouldnt hesitate to return.
For being a visitor of friends who stayed here I have found a future place to stay at! ️
Wide green grass spaces, away from the freeway noise mostly. Beautifully kept location, with friendly hosts!
Nice park, we were only there one night
Beautiful park, the nicest RV Park I have ever been too.
This place is awesome; just great, on any day. Staff, locale, layout.
Awesome place good place to have adult fun
Its definetly a five start RV Resort! It has all the amenities with different site options to choose from. Then pull through lots are huge! Id say our pull through was at least 60 long.My only issue with this place was the 5 pages of rules I had to sign. All the work campers watch you like a hawk and they are all strategically placed to keep a good eye on things which overall is a good thing. We enjoyed our stay and definetly recommend it!!
Cleanest RV park weve ever camped at.
It’s very nice here! The facility is clean with plenty of space between lots. We got a pull through site which was nice since we’re fairly new at this. Next time we’ll try a back in spot. They have super friendly and helpful staff that showed us our spot. And very quiet. I was worried about hearing freeway noise but it wasn’t an issue. We have family here so this will definitely be our first of many visits.
COLUMBIA SUN RV Resort was very Bad News for me as I had paid them $575 a month and a half in advance to begin a long term stay with them until they canceled my reservation because I wouldnt agree to leave them an open credit card .I told them I could pay cash at the beginning of each month or by checked but they turned both of these options down and gave me the boot via e-mail a week and half after I had already paid them and it took a long time to get my money back! The staff is rude and arrogant and you better do things their way or else they are quick to do the same thing to you .Ive also heard one of the men who was working there screaming at a woman (who was lost) for pulling over in what he called, the wrong lane while asking my friend and I for directions .They also they have security guards that scowl at you and watch you like a hawk every time you go in and out of the park...... I would prefer not to give them even 1 star as they had left me stranded!Buyer beware!
So I was told I would get a $17.00 charge for a background check. Well the charge was almost $30.00. When I called to ask the lady said it was because I have lived in multiple states. UMMM, no I have live my entire life in Washington. When she said sorry dont know what to tell you I said cancel my reservation please, well her reply is thats going to cost you $100.00. Well I hadnt even signed my agreement and my arrival date was still 10 days off. Wow. Horn Rapids and Moon River are way more willing to work with you and wont rip you off.
We stayed here with 2 other families for 3 years in a row. But because they now require full payment when booking months in advance we have all stopped going there. They have no loyalty to steady customers that have always shown up for their reservations. I rate their loyalty to customers a ---0.
All Im going to say is do your research first. The people reviewing this space are older for a reason, they arent mentioning family friendly for a reason. Dont be fooled by the playground and the pool. If youre going to be here for the weekend, GREAT! Youre golden, they LOVE kids on the weekend. If youre looking for a place to live, to be comfortable, to come home to this is NOT your place. They have treated us differently basically since we first moved in back in December of 2018. My children are all very young, they are overly excitable, they are curious, and as long as they arent hurting themselves or someone else Im usually not prone to stopping them from doing whatever it is that is keeping them curious. This behavior was tolerated until the park got closer to peak season, their guests are definitely of an older age and they have an image to uphold and my children being comfortable in their own home wasnt fitting that image. They did confront us face to face one time before threatening to ask us to leave in an email but other than that no attempt was made at just giving grace. I personally have felt that the women staff members have never much cared for me and to be honest I dont care to know why that is. The owners of this place are the kind that are nice to your face but you know for sure that if you arent upholding all their standards are talking about you behind your back. Basically if you have children of a YOUNG age dont plan on staying here longer than a weekend, they dont want you here.
Wow!!! Super impressed with this resort. Nicest camp hosts around...all of them. And there are a bunch which means they have a ton of staff folks to make your stay the best it can be. TONS of amenities for people of all ages. The entire park is so well taken care of and well manicured. And the sites are HUGE. You arent sitting on top of your neighbors. This is now at the very top of our list of parks we will continue to visit as often as possible. Very highly recommend for any age and any size rig. If you have a big rig and looking for a place to go look no further. Youll have room to spare!!
Overall amazing experience. We rolled-in after hours and had no issues finding the late check-in instruction packets. Pool was great, check-out was easy, everything was clean and in working condition. Only started 1 night on this trip, but would definitely go back.
We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful park. The reason for only 4 stars is because the maintenance started cutting the grass right outside our window before 8 o’clock. Otherwise excellent stay.
What a wonderful RV Resort! It is laid out in a manner so that you don’t feel cramped, beautiful grass between sites. They have an amazing amount of activity for adults and families so that everyone feels welcomed. The restrooms are some of the best we have used in our travels and as our son lives in the area it’s the only RV resort we will use when in the area!!
Very nice, and the people there are all very pleasant
Glamping at its best! The park is clean, orderly, staff are very professional, nice store, activities, even homemade ice cream. The park is exceptionally well manicured, even gravel sites are compacted and easy to level on. The site selection is great, something for everyone, but truly there are no bad sites, all are easily accessible regardless of rig size. This park was designed right and is run professionally and efficiently.
My parents stay here when they visit the area. Clean, well kept RV park conveniently located just off I-82. They have a small store and a nice little pool area. My mom loves it.
Clean, spacious spots, many amenities.
This place is truly the 5-star RV park. It has big spacious RV spaces available (pull through) as well as smaller back in spaces. A minimum of 6 private family bathrooms (toilet, sink, shower including dressing area with seat, toilet seat covers and shelf above the sink for your toothbrush to sit). And it has a pool for the kids! This place is super plush compared with other RV Parks weve stayed in over the last 2+ weeks all over Montana & Wyoming and anywhere weve stayed in Oregon. I couldnt recommend it more...thanks Columbia Sun for setting the standard for others to follow...A+++
So clean. Peaceful and Perfect for a home away from home.
This RV park KNOWS what is important in a park! The sites are UNBELIEVABLY wide... the grass between you and your neighbour is thick and lush... The patio areas in each site are perfect, the movable convertible picnic table/benches are wonderful to make your patio your own! The washrooms are clean beyond belief. The games room has everything, and I do mean everything you could possibly need to keep kids of all ages occupied. The outdoor/pool games available for use will keep everyone busy. From patio chess and checkers, croquet you name it! The gift shop/store has what you might need or desire! There are rules about size and shape of your RV unit but it appeared during our stay that those are a little flexible. There are NO wood fires in the park and I love that being asthmatic! The pool and spa are a great size and for the heat that one faces in this part of Washington a welcome relief... A GREAT park and beautifully maintained. The Honeysuckle surrounding the pool fence were amazing and the fragrance was unbelievable! An Oasis in the midst of the city!
I absolutely love this RV resort. It is like the Marriott or TV resorts. Its kept up and greatly maintained. I definitely get the feeling of being in a country down home little community whe I am there
Great location. Beautiful landscape and adorably decorated for Christmas. Clean and organized. Host was amazing!!!!
Best RV park Ive ever been to.
Theres a reason this place is number 7 in the country. This place was wonderful! It was immaculate, level sites and big rig friendly. Staff was friendly and rates were very reasonable. The on-site Country Store was a bonus. It is one of my favorite places. I would definitely recommend this place.
We loved staying here. Everyone was friendly, the bathrooms were always so clean, the sites are beautifully maintained. My husband and I had our 9 month old son and our dog with us, and our son loved the pool and playing in the grass. Theyre super pet friendly, with 2 fenced in areas for off leash and poop bags and garbages everywhere around the grounds. They have a really cute gift shop too. Its a great location, close to shopping. Overall, a really nice place to stay.
Quiet park, clean bathrooms and showers, nice pet area, friendly service, have stayed there twice.
No map for 100 plus lots. Very difficult place to deliver to. Manager called the sheriff because it was his perception that I was speeding. They dont write tickets based on hearsay so thank you for wasteing your time.
Friendly staff, clean and well maintained gounds, bathrooms, workout room, game room and sites. Sites are spacious.
Staying here now and extremely pleased with everything but the WiFi. The cleanest facility we’ve ever stayed at, bar-none! Beautiful part of the state and very close to wineries, however it is hot in August. We’ll come back if we’re ever close.
My mother-in-law worked and lived here. It’s beautifully maintained. If you’re 55+ and looking for an upscale place to park your RV, then this is it!
Park is beautiful. Staff are amazing. Close to everything. Is a favorite place to stay.
Great resort, very clean and well managed.
Great experience I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Great people, friendly, respectful, helpful I can go on and on. Peaceful and quite. The sunsets are mind blowing. Clean and more clean, trimmed grass, clean sites, pet areas. And the store is huge with lots of different gifts to choose for your loved ones. Overall above 10 stars ️. Thank you Columbia sun rv resort for a great 2 nights stay and the hospitality. I recommend and encourage everyone to stay here if passing through the area. Easy on and off the interstate. And I was pulling a 45’ fifth wheel and and 20’ truck long bed. Sites are easy to get in and out and spacious grassy sites and patios . I definitely would stay here in the future. Thank you again.
We love the resort, will even use it as a destination in future. Staff are all exceptional. Sites have enough room to enjoy out door space too. A dog play area. And lots of other amenities we never got a chance to try this short trip. Only negative is we backed onto a very busy very noisey road.
This place is amazing! This is the first time we have camped at an RV resort. Its going to be tough for any of the rest we stay at to live up to it.They have a pool, hot tub, a half basketball court, pickleball court, country store, bathroom/showers, and free pancakes on Saturday. Not to mention we could have our 2 dogs.People here are super helpful. The location is great. We will definitely be back!
Impressive! The entire park is well maintained. It is well landscaped and manicured green lawn. The park has weekly events such as karaoke and free ice cream or all you can eat pancakes for breakfast. It depends on what day you are in. It has a swimming pool, and other amenities. The park consists of 3 sites which are regular, deluxe and supreme. This is truly an RV Resort.
This park is pristine and staffed with happy, helpful staff. The sites are enormous, with lush lawn spaces between and the connections are in the right location for class A rigs. Everything is in tip top condition. This is our second stay in this park, its like an oasis in the tri-city area of southern Washington.
Spacious sites with large grassy area for relaxing. Well maintained shower/restroom facilities were a pleasant surprise for this large, active park. The staff at the well stocked gift store/office really made our stay nice, very helpful and efficient. The only downside for some may be the noise from the highway nearby but this wasnt a concern for us.
Staff is great. Facility clean. They even filled our propane tank for us. We always return to this park on our way thru the area. Thank you Columbia Sun.
Everything was good. Would be nice to hv some trees in between the site..
My wife and I have been frequently been staying at the resort since its first year of service and we cannot stop coming back. Its in our opinion, one of the best rv resorts we have stayed at and we have recommended Columbia Sun Resort to all of our friends and everyone we dont know with an rv. Every one of the staff are completely awesome and very willing to help you with anything you need. Love it here.
LOVED my stay here! The staff was friendly, helpful and they had great prices. The pool and hot tub were great. They had tons of jumbo outdoor games to play, as well as indoor games to play too. I was originally going to bring my own camper, but then they suggested their own that they rent out, where I wouldnt have to worry about anything and I am so happy they suggested it! It was equipped with everything I needed, just had to bring food and my clothes. The resort itself is very nice, well maintained and I will definitely be staying here again! Id say the only thing that could be improved was the visibility of the numbers for the spaces. I arrived after hours, in the dark and had a hard time seeing the space numbers, and even with the help of the map I was provided, the numbers were still hard to see, but I did find it ok. Thank you guys for an awesome stay!! I will recommend to everyone headed that way.
Clean and lovely. They really cater to their weekend guests with stuff to do. Great gift shop. Wonderful pool and spa
I love this place and am very excited to move in. Everyone is very polite and professional.
Very friendly, courteous staff. Nicely groomed, clean restrooms and showers. Great place for families.
Beautiful park!! I mean exceptional. Staff courteous and friendly. A great gift shop in the office.
Nice clean and friendly.
Beautiful RV Park! It’s obvious the owners and employees take pride in their business. Enjoyed our stay here, and look forward to visiting again!
Great Place to Stay.
This resort is wonderful. The spaces are, well....very spacious! I love how much room we have and how immaculent they keep the grounds. The store is a boutique with everything from clothing to cutsie dish towels. The only problem is little shade. This is a fairly young park and the trees havent grown up yet. But they are growing every day. And every day the park is better.
Beautiful RV Park lots of spaces, some pull through, some back in. Gravel level spaces with ample room to park your pull or tow vehicle. It was 108 when we got here. We pretty much set-up, cranked the air conditioner and stayed inside until we got ready to leave in the morning. There is a pool and nice store gift shop, but other than checking in, we did not use them.
Awesome rv park. If you cant find an activity here to make you happy, you cant be happy. Great location for a rally.
Cleanliness, amenities, restrooms, laundry, sites and FRIENDLINESS all = 5+ stars. We spent only one night passing through. They accommodated our request for grassy area site for our Corgi AND they have a large off-leash area. She was in doggie heaven right here on earth. Very friendly people in the office and our neighbors too. Will definitely stay again on our next trip west from NH. Thanks for being one of the top places we stayed on our cross country out and back adventure.
Super place. Well run. Lovely settingNew place.
Great people, great resort, well maintained.
I was very impressed. The entire park was meticulously groomed and spotless. Rest rooms and showers were the cleanest I have seen. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay again when in the area. Worth every penny.
One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at. The reservation process and checkin could not have easier. Very friendly and helpful staff. All the sites have plenty of room and are as level as can be expected. The whole park is very well maintained and clean. Easy on and off access to the freeway but not so close that you have road noise.
Very nice campground.
Awesome staff that went above & beyond; clean, quiet facilities. Would stay here again! Slow wi-fi was offset by SAT pancake breakfasts and SUN doughnuts and coffee.
Very nice park. Clean, quiet, family and pet friendly. Store has most of the things you tend to forget or run out of on a trip. Two small off leash dog parks, private bathrooms with showers, pool, hot tub, games, ice cream social, karaoke, what more do you need? Well definitely be back!
Wonderful place, the red carpet is always out. Clean friendly place.
Very nice campground friendly staff. The onsite showers are clean and nice, But you have to push a button to keep the water running. Thats not good! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Haven’t stayed there but drove in to check it out for future stay and is really organized, clean and spots got lots of space in between each other.
You will not be disappointed! Great place.
Great stop on the Fourth of July. Staff did many fun things for our 7 and 12 year old kids like outdoorMovies and treats. This is a great place for all.
Great experience at this RV RESORT. They arent kidding when they call it a Resort. Large pull-through spaces available. Extremely clean restrooms with private showers. My wife is not an outdoorsy type, and she even used the shower and felt refreshed. The pool was great and the Karaoke was a ton of fun! Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful grounds! They have a fellow on a golf cart guide you to your spot, he pulls through the spot and then shows you were all the hook-ups are. They dont leave you hanging by saying, Oh, just pick a spot and have fun. They actually get out and help you. Some would think that this is probably a bit intrusive, some appreciate the help. I felt like they were just trying to be helpful. Great bunch of people!
Quiet and well manicured - the grounds are immaculate. The bathrooms were not as clean or mantained as the price and receptionist led me to expect.
