It is very unprofessional for a business to close before time that is posted on the door not to mention the answering machine and online. I arrived at 750 and the doors were locked. The employees working only had 10min but apparently it is to long for them. Hire employees that have a understanding of time
When this location first opened in the early 90s, it was filled with product. These days, its been scaled back. This is not a bad thing, IMHO, because it seems the company has decided to make its displays a little more discreet and welcoming to couples, as my wife and I found.We came here some years back for a Magic Wand, to avoid the S & H costs of ordering online as we had done previously. I returned alone recently for lubricant and erectile aids. Customer service seems to depend on the staff working at the time, but I do agree that they could improve employee knowledge overall. Granted, as the company has a website, I find it useful to read up there, as I often do for most any other business of any kind.I dont quite understand the reviews complaining about prices, as theyre comparable to other retail stores of this type. The entire sector of this retail industry produces product that is of varying quality, but as I have yet to return anything (aside from rented media), I have no experience with the store return policies. Caveat emptor, as always.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Save yourself the trouble and just order online. The staff are rude and tend to huddle for a chat at the counter only to disburse when you come up to pay. I actually wondered if the people left were stoned because they just stood there staring at what I wanted to purchase and made no move to help me check out for several moments. It was only until I asked ‘Can I check out here’ that one of them gave me a slow blink and started to scan things. They didn’t even say the total, just waited for me to hand them the card in silence... just an awkward and weird place.

I arrived at 755 and the doors already locked. The website says 8pm and the sign on the door says 8pm. If they close at an earlier time then it should be posted. It is frustrating to arrive at a store before closing and still find it closed.
Bought a bed restraint system for 60 bucks, got it home, opened it up and it doesnt fit a queen bed. Checked packaging NO size was stated anywhere. Called the store because I figured...no problem theyll return it. Nope, its a personal use item, huh? It wasnt used personally at all and it shows, cuffs are still factory wrapped. Spent over 300 dollars there. Last time ever.
This store is poorly run with zero customer service. In addition, they ban employees from working any second job while not paying them enough to support themselves. You’d think requiring a background check more extensive than a federal job would weed out some of the bad workers. It doesn’t. Probably because of the basement pay rates. You’d think with what they charge for their goods, they could provide better staff for their customers.
Very bad customer service. Went there with my girlfriend for personal items and she was embarrassed. This sales rep would NOT leave us alone at all every corner there she was trying to make a suggestion, when we told her we dont need any help we she kept at it. Till finally had enough put the items at the register told them have a nice day and to tell the creepy stalker lady she lost them 150$. I may go back if anything improves but honestly I probably wont

Tried to exchange a product (tights) that was mispackaged. The tights were not worn and still in original packaging and I was told it was not exchangeable or returnable. I will not be referring or purchasing from Castle anymore due to their terrible customer service even when I wasn’t at fault. I asked the sales representative if it was my responsibility to open the packaging before leaving the store and she said no but somehow I get stuck with a product I didn’t want that is not the listed item on the packaging and unable to return, exchange, or get store credit.
It was about a month ago my husband and myself stopped in. I was familiar with the store though I had not been to it frequently. We were slightly nervous about what we were looking for, but they were very helpful. They answered our questions and more. Wonderful service. Guaranteed to stop by when I visit Washington again, and highly recommend the store to friends.
My guy and me went into Castles Megastore yesterday and bought these herbal supplements called Max Hard and Max Desire and I am telling you they work especially the Max Desire for the women. I felt sensations that I dont ever remembering feeling.
AWFUL, I love Castle it has all the things you need usually really nice as well. But, To be accused of stealing is makes me angry. To be a customer to expect great customer service and a welcoming face and environment but to be down graded to being called a thief from an employee and making me feel disrespected. I have purchased items from this store multiple times and that is what they say to me.
Good thing this is the only adult toy store in the tricities, or I would definitely go somewhere else.I went in to purchase a toy for my gf and I, they had convinced me to get something different, telling me its a better version. So I got that one. I went home researched the product, and decided it wasnt the right one at all. The very next day I tried to return it, unused and unopened. I was told that all sales are final. This was a wasted $130. Im only ordering online from now on.

My boyfriend and I go there to buy lubes and personal toys and its sorta annoying when the employees suggest you things that like and they almost made me paid for one of their products that I didnt wanted to buy until I told them Im not wanting to get it and toys are great but bit too overpriced
Extremely poor customer service make sure you check your lingerie before you purchase it for any damage or rips and tears because if they dont write it on the receipt before hand they wont exchange it or return it and they were very rude about the whole situation never shopping there ever again!
