Michaels

Unfortunately I’m writing this review because your cashier ELIZABETH needs help with her customer service skills immediately! Initially I was checking out with the other cashier Becky and she was having trouble with her computer freezing so she moved me over to Elizabeth’s line. I proceeded to give her my phone number to sign up for the rewards program and her computer made a loud beeping noise. I said oh I’m not a member of the program but I want to sign up today.. she proceeds to hand me my receipt and tells me next in line. She didn’t even sign me up for it I checked my receipt as I was being rushed out the door. All i asked was to be apart of a rewards program at a place where I THOUGHT I would be back to spend my money. But that definitely won’t be happening because her attitude towards me was very poor. It was the middle of the day, I had 4 or 5 items..there was no reason for the rush or shortness she was giving me. That’s not how you treat people! She made me feel bad for even spending my money there. Something as simple as signing up your customers for your rewards program for returning customers shouldn’t be such a inconvenience to miss Elizabeth. Maybe next time someone will treat me better at a different store.

Great hobby store with seasonal and arts and crafts. Nice employees. You can get coupons on their website for non sale items. They always have great sale prices. Open on Sunday.

This store has better than average customer service. Associates are always friendly and courteous. There curbside delivery program is well run

Very well stocked and organized. Very busy with several registers open for quick check out. Helpful staff.

Would not recommend this store as they do not honor their posted discounts. They had a posted discount on all frames from a specific brand with the fine print that every day values were not part of the sale. Two of the frames we purchased were apparently considered every day values even though there was nothing on the shelf indicating that (see pictures). When I asked the cashier she admitted they dont do a good job marking them and then gave me some line about how the prices will end in 00. I didnt escalate further as it just wasnt worth it and I knew it wouldnt go any further.

Im disappointed about their lack of stock in yarn. They advertise great sales, but dont have the stick in store

No wonder these stores are all going out of business! There are things I can only get at Michaels, but I dread every time I need to do so.Customer service is terrible, employees are short and make you feel like a disturbance when you ask for help. Prices are not competitive, and you cannot trust what you see online.Only reason why I give this store 2 stars is because it is well organized and clean.. making it reasonable easy to find the stuff Im looking for.

One star for the immature girl who rang up my tie dye kit today. Keep your attitude in check. If a customer wants to check for coupons to see things for themselves, that’s okay. I even stepped out of line to do it. You shouldn’t feel personally attacked because a customer doesn’t make decisions based off your word. A sarcastic response like the one you gave could have easily gotten you punched in the face. Be lucky that I’m not that kind of person.

The staff here is really bad about rewards points, coupons, & emailed receipts; often bypassing them altogether without asking. Once an employee refused to even scan my rewards app. saying it wouldnt work. After calling corporate to confirm their apps coupon would work & coming back in- they scanned it & it worked for more savings. Staff here needs to be retrained in basic customer service. This may sound like a Karen type review but if you see from any other review I ever leave in Google 99.9% are 5 star complimentary reviews. I assure you- Im no complainer... unless totally needed.

The store is always stocked and orderly, tons of crafting materials and ideas and great sales.

Kroger store was great. The dinner dish I bought was delicious.

Just stopped in with my daughter. From the time we walked in, my senses were all over! Decorations for cakes and cookies. Washi tape, plethora of write on chalkboard items, paints and brushes and 2020 GRADUATION ITEMS!!!!! Ideas. Ideas. Ideas!

They always have what Im looking for

Staff is always helpful. I buy a lot of display frames and they always get more in the back for me when the shelfs are empty

Staff was helpful, I found what I needed pretty easily.

I love this place! So many things with great sales that they are always having! Now I have to get rid if my fake walmart flowers bc the ones from Michaels are so much better!

Nice clean place with a lot of options for decoration.

They don’t know what they are doing. I can’t even ask a question cause they don’t care and don’t know anything. Please hire better staff, today an employee with an weird voice, ginger lady just did not care at all. She didn’t even tried to help me or explain anything.

They carry a little bit of everything for all your arts, crafts and creative ideas.

Always great customer service..however the curbside pick up today was longer than normal and only one associate was running the register and curb side pick up.

Fun for holidays. Great sales.

Love coming and looking at all the creative materials, but for what ever reason every Michaels I go too the customer service is poor, so I usually go else where.

Its a joy to be in this store. The staff is so welcoming and funny. They are equipped with the latest discounts and tell you if youre gonna get a good deal. If you have a compulsion to buy all the really tiny or personalized things, go here. I know Im not the only one.

There are always employees ready to help customers in this location. On one visit, I was trying to find enough yarn (with matching dye lots) to make an afghan for a wedding present. The lady in the yarn dept went above and beyond for me! She got on the ladder and went through the stock above and beyond reach . She discussed possible options with me and helped formulate the plan that inspired the pattern for the special gift. There are 3 Michaels stores within easy driving distance from my home. This location happens to be the farthest from my home and this is my favorite one!

My wife comes here constantly so I am also there. I will say the prices and selection here are way better than i ever expected. The names not bad either.

The yarn needed to be restocked not the greatest selection to choose from

The lady in the front helped me and my family find what we needed and was very sweet to use Im pretty sure her name started with an a. Thanks.

I love this store. Unfortunately, sometimes I get good service and sometimes I dont. I had purchased numerous items. One of the items was a regular priced item and I could have use my 50% off coupon but the cashier told me that I couldnt use my coupons. After reviewing my receipt, I realized that I paid full price and had to go back to the store unfortunately I returned the fulk full price item. That left the disdain taste in my mouth for that cashier.

An older store packed with festive customers. They are handling the customers well. The store is easy to see once inside the shopping center.Store is well stocked and ready for the season. Unit has good pices.. Would recommend.

Home run today. I wasnt going to decorate for Christmas this year but found a pre lit tree that can be color bulbs or all white. I was transformed from my sorry attitude this year by the selection of Christmas decorations available. God knows its been a bad year but the joy I found had me smiling again. Happy Thanksgiving to all and a Merry Christmas to you and your families!

Well stocked, clean, and easy to find. Very difficult to find an employee in the store for help.

Its always a great sale or discount

At any given time I can have three or four projects going on. Love being able to walk into this store and find what I need for each of them. One stop shop. Only downside is unless its a holiday time, you dont find many staff members on the floor to ask for help. Check out at this particular store is great.

Everything for every holiday and occasion

I could walk around this store for hours. Love love love Michaels. Huge selection of items and different brands.Flowers, adts and crafts, nick naks, and gift ideas

Selection is hit-or-miss, and the service has gone downhill quickly. Today, the register line quite literally reached the back of the store with only two cashiers. A lady just ahead of me informed the cashier and said You really need to call for help. The girl nervously shrugged and said Its only my second day.

Found just what I needed & a coupon while in line

They have a lot of good deals

Would get 5 stars if they had more airbrush merchandise. Airbrushing is fairly popular these days and to not have it is kind of behind the times.

Always a great shopping trip for any last minute needs as far crafts, gifts and decorations. Needed picture frames and found exactly what I needed and the quantity that I needed. Cashier even provided a coupon to take an extra percentage off my total.

Only one cashier working for a time and had to wait in line. Also, beware of the 40 % off one item coupon read the fine print and cannot be used with a sale item as well.

Ridiculously expensive, staff friendly but there are many better places to go

Great staff. I had a 40% off coupon that did not start until the next day and the cashier had one at her register that was 50% off that we were able to use! Great customer service!

If you are artsy-craftsy, its hard to beat this place for inspiration and supplies, BUT, uou had better bring your wallet ! I had no idea things like this cost so much. No wonder you see coupons for Michaels often. 50% off of things that cost twice as much as they should doesnt work to your advantage.

Nothing special about the store. Just like every other Micheals. Cashier was polite and got me in and out quickly

Need more inventory. Very lacking.

I love this store and the fact that you can use multiple coupons in addition to their sales.

I found exactly what I needed and got a good discount signing up for their rewards program. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The store was well blocked and the signage was helpful.

Good yarn sale last week-- cheaper than Joanns, but not as much selection. The store was pretty disorganized, stuff all over, but its Christmas, and everyones in a rush. Its go in again.

Karen in framing was so helpful. Super fun to talk with too.

A good place for crafting needs, but a bit pricey unless you watch the flyer for sales.

Wife was able to find everything she needed for her crafting project, and one of our friends was able to create an entire organization system for cheap with a coupon.

I like going here when I need specific things they have all kinds of crafting material and tools along with house decor.

Lots of arts and crafts, but it seems like they are getting rid of the better supplies and replacing them with cheaper less capable supplies.

Great discount prices. Excellent service. Great variety of crafts and everything in between

Michaels is an amazing store! Sign-up for the rewards program to get first notice on sales, coupons and such. This location always has great deals. The staff here are always helpful and pleasant.

My daughter is a very gifted artist. She wanted to go to Michaels to acquire the materials she needed to make holiday gifts for her friends and family. So, of course I took her, and the gifts were divine. Its been years since Id been to Michaels and I was very surprised to find an extensive array of such high quality, affordable materials. As for me, Im in the beginning phase of opening another business. Id planned to purchase many materials wholesale, but Michaels has most of the items that I need at CHEAPER RATES. Wow!I would like to include a shout out to the staff. They rock...To sum up my review, Im officially a fan, and plan to use them for most of my business needs.

Didnt have anything I was looking for today.

Lately, the sales arent the greatest and the clearance is always super high prices. This location is smaller than others. Not much paper crafting selection.

You can use Hobby Lobby Coupons there.

I am only giving this store three stars, because there yarn section is super small. I wish they had more of a variety. However, every time I have visited this location, the employees have been helpful and friendly.

Thats my favorite store

Usually nicely kept and cashiers are friendly.Good selection of products.

Seemed a bit over priced. Staff was nice and building was clean. Just expensive.

Has fun ideas to try at home love Michaels

I can spend HOURS at Michaels. I love all of their craft project kits which are so easy to pick up and do with the kids. I come here regularly to pick up supplies and get new ideas. Theres always a coupon that can be used and theres always merchandise on sale. I like bring my kids with me to help them pick things out that will keep them away from the screens.

Cute diy and holiday project ideas and they always have coupons!

Everything is good; but a expensive!!

I have been shopping here for years and love all the great decor, art supplies, and jewelry.

The deals are great, this place is fantastic for your arts and crafts hobbies whether its baking, carpentry, or painting.

Picked over.

The store definitely has almost anything you need. Price check art supplies before coming here, this is usually the most or at least more expensive than most other places.Guy at the printing counter was helpful and nice. Ring out was smooth and everyone seemed pleasant.

Good deals got 50% off

Went to the store on Black Friday, and it was actually a pretty great experience. The store was busy, but the employees didnt seem stressed and they were willing to help and talk to us. I only bought a book, but I was still able to move through, look at everything, and then leave with my item without feeling like I was locked in a herd of people. The storefront is great and organized and shopping at Michaels is a pleasant experience for sure!

Great craft store! Was looking for an odd sized baking pan today- found it.

Store was clean and neat. I bought art supplies and the lady at the checkout helped me with coupons.

A great place to find craft supplies. Good pricing.

Nice store, but no one to help you.I prefer the Michaels on cobb pkwy - much better.

I am not the craftiest person in the world, but this place has really grown on me over the years as I have needed to do and or make things for my son.The store is well organized, which is good because it is hard to find staff on the floor. But when you do they are helpful. The prices are definitely reasonable. I am converting our train table to a dinosaur table for my sons 6th birthday and I went there for ideas amd browsing showed that everything Ill need is there!!!Also have some cool non-standard toys or project kits that are great for birthday party gifts!

This craft store has a giant variety of useful items and decorations perfect for parties or just interior design. The prices are good, the service is amazing, and the overall aura of the place puts me in awe. I always want to come here when I have money, usually to buy something to put my overly creative mind at ease. I also know that people can host birthday parties here, which is a very nice touch!

Got what I wanted

Everyone here is super helpful and friendly!

Ok first of all this place is nice and has reasonable prices.. however, they have a terrible customer service. This old lady cashier gave us a stink eyes and smashing my stuff as she put them in the plastic bag. She doesn’t even know how to pack the bought items. She didn’t cover the fragile glass and put in at the bottom of the bag.

Smaller store than others for what I was looking for. Need to watch cashiers for double charging. Was able to return unused supplies easily.

Quick checkout even tho the store was busy.

This store is fantastic! They helped me find exactly what I needed and then some. My Mom can not walk very well and she wanted a latch hook rug kit and they had it.I love this store!

Got there late and was checking out as they closed. There was only one girl working the registers so a line formed, but she was still so friendly, fast and willing to help anyway she could. It was very much appreciated especially since it was the end of her shift and she was still shining bright.

My husband and I got alit of the craft for our wedding here!! Love Michaels!! Great place for any crafting essentials!! As well as decor for any special day!

They always have what Im looking for!

Very expensive

Customer service friendly as always, helpful to a T and wonderful sales and selection.

Great kid program every day, $3.00 per 1/2 hour art time.

Fast service for online pick up

There was no pre made 4th of July wreaths. Stock all over the store wasnt great. And even the stickers we could find baby boy hands and feet like we should have been able to.

Absolutely love this store. Its great for supplying whatever hobby you do craftwise. It can get a little expensive but they do have coupons. Be sure to download the app for even more goodies they offer. Other than that love the place and they do offer classes at times.

I visited this store yesterday and was looking for some disinfectant wipes to wipe the I was planning to use. I had to ask the cashier who stated they had wiped the carts 30 minutes ago as if I didn’t need to wipe them again. I was persistent so she came out and wiped the . Due to this virus I think it should be required to have disinfectant wipes for the

Monday deals! I love them! So many things were 50-60% off! I pretty much finished marking off things on my Christmas shopping list and saved time and money!

Michaels always has a great selection, great customer service and great coupon policies. The staff is always patient and helpful! I frequently craft stores at least 1-2 times a week. Michaels honors all coupons and never gets irritated!

The sales people are very helpful. The coupons are great. Saved a ton of money.

Plenty of staff and all was in fair order considering the time of year. Signs were well posted and everyone was aware of the urgency of the lines. When customers added up that called for help. Over all a great store!
