Veterans Park

Veterans Park is such a nice place for a walk. It is always clean well and maintained. It has plenty of ducks and lots of shade, swings, and a play area for the children to play on. It is also a nice park to take pictures at.

Nice military exhibits with descriptive placards, small ponds with ducks, clean playground (no swings), and short walking path circling the park.

Peaceful. I feel safe being next to the courthouse. Officers circulate the property often. Nice walking/running trail. Never too crowded.

We love to come here and visit the planes and feed the turtles. I just wish they would do something about that playground equipment... just awful

Very nice place to host an outside party. Different size shelters to choose from. Cost friendly as well.

Park needs A LOT of improvement! One swing was broken. I was scared to swing on the other ones. The slides were extremely dirty. One slide of the playground set was boarded off because it was broken. They just need to rebuild the whole playground! Not a place for your kids. Walking trail was nice. Atmosphere was very relaxing... like walking by the ducks. Its extremely quiet and not a lot of people.

Nice Park and duck pond. Playground is not super big, but nice. Can be pressure washed to help it look better. Walk path was in good condition. The military vehicles and planes were a great feature.

This park was definitely a nice part to visit. Very clean and nicely kept up.

Its great, I grew up there. It needs some improvement tho. For example, the abandoned greenhouse, the dirty water, the broken playground, and the struggling aquatic creatures.

The play equipment is out of date and broken down.

Plenty of trees, lots of shade, covered pervillions. Walking trails, playground equipment for small children, also close to fast food establishments. Some tables available.
