This review has been amended. I had originally given 1 star for the experience, but I must say it’s 5 stars for after-the-fact resolution of the issue. The way Capital Vacations researched the issue, reached out to me, and offered to make the situation right was very good. While that does not change all the troubles we went through on the trip, I really appreciate the gesture from management. Sometimes technical challenges do occur, it’s impressive how they handled the situation after the fact.Original review -Booked a 3 day family vacation at 84 main to celebrate our son’s birthday. We booked via Chase Travel a month in advance, and got confirmation email. On the day of travel, we called in just to confirm they provide toiletries, and to our shock, they said we don’t have a reservation there. No attempt to try to accommodate us though we were already enroute. We called Chase, they confirmed the property had confirmed the booking a month ago, and still they won’t budge even after Chase connected with them and showed proof. Upended all our plans, we couldn’t find another place in Kennebunk at the last minute, and had to book a much more expensive resort in Portland. Frustrating experience to say the least. Will happily give 0 stars if that was an option.

Nice 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and nice balcony with outside table. Only minus is a pretty worn/dirty rug in bedrooms and hallway.

Very nice town and friendly people

Spent a week with the whole family and had a fabulous time. We had both the penthouse and another 2 bedroom unit and both rooms were excellent. The penthouse is a beautiful unit with floor to ceiling windows all around allowing tons of natural light and a fantastic cross breeze. The wrap around deck has some great views of downtown Kennebunk. It even has a separate room for card or board games that was enjoyed by both the adults and kids. There is not much on property, but they do provide a parking pass to the beach. Weve stayed at a number of timeshares across the US and this one is one of the best in comfort and luxury in the room. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing centralized location in southern Maine.

It was very clean, close to attractions and the two girls that were working were very pleasant helpful and kind. I will recommend this place to my family and friends and i willl definitely stay there again

Great location in the middle of a quintessential Maine Main Street. The rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated.

We booked a last minute trip to visit family for the holidays. And found this hotel on line. It was completely as advertised. Including the great price. Hotel management was on top of things, and the process went very smoothly. Stayed here with our two teenage kids. And enjoyed many of the same fixtures and features we have in our house.

Modern and clean. Had everything we could have needed. Excellent location. Plenty of linens, dishes, etc. we rented the 2 bed/2 bath which was beautiful. Loved the deck overlooking Main St. Will stay again!!

Capital resorts in Kennebunk was exceptional. 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was ideal for our family of 5. Full kitchen and a modern open floor plan. Location put us 15 minutes to Wells beach and Kennebunkport. Less than 30 minutes to Portland and its world class dining options. Couldnt ask for a better vacations stay.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance to nice restaurants. Clean, beautifully appointed. All the comforts of home. Amazing helpful staff. Cant wait to stay again!

Loved our family trip to Kennebunk. Location & accomodation were fantastic. Would book again. Plenty space for 2 teenagers & gym was an added bonus.

Bascially your own condo/apartment complete with laundry, full kitchen, living room. Beautiful decor and comfortable. Enjoyed it - will definitely go back!

Large, newly renovated spotlessly clean rooms. About 4 miles from Kennebunkport. Great Bakery across the street.
