Excellent reuse of Kearneys old Post office. Lots of beautiful items on display. Free admission, too!

Lovely small museum with well curated Nebraska art. Planned on spending a while here, but it is deceptively big. Worth a visit while visiting Kearney or driving through Nebraska.

The Museum of Nebraska Art is never a dull stop when in Kearney. Its exhibits are distinctive and beautiful, the layout is neat and clean, and the works within are all worthy of appreciation and study. Every visit I always find a new favorite artwork or a new perspective. It is a great for the artistically inclined (whether artists themselves or simple appreciaters), even as the higher floor of exhibits can be difficult to reach without some direction.

Possibly the biggest let down of a museum Ive been to. I understand art is subjective but a few cans stacked up doesnt really qualify for me. A lot of the art was super underwhelming. Also upon arriving the woman at the front desk was leaned back in her chair scrolling through her phone and didnt greet us. Didnt say anything when we left and didnt even bother making eye contact with us.

This location has a nicer decor with the stone-look tiles but not allowed to make some noise and to take some pictures.

An interesting, albeit oddly themed, collection of Nebraska art. Likely a very short visit for most visitors, but an educational and aesthetically pleasing one nevertheless.

Cool spot for Art in Kearney. Worth a visit if in the area and looking for something different to do. It wont take long to walk through but some really nice pieces to view while there and a nice variety.

Cant wait to spend more time here!

This is a great local art museum.

Must see. Excellent exhibit of river runs through it. Sound scapes of cranes and nature complement the videos. Nice gift shop.

Walked in, dropped a donation in the box & began looking at the exhibits when some guy walks in and informs me that even though the door was wide open & no one was at the front desk, they were actually closed & I had to leave. Welcome to Nebraska, I guess? Good riddance. Cant wait to get back home to Tennessee.

Whether youre local or if youre just visiting this is a must-see in Kearney!!! They feature some phenomenal artists from Nebraska and every time I have visited, which is frequent, there is something always there for eye candy! Exquisite Nebraska Art!

Lovely, old restored post office building with excellent modern and bygone art. Great rotating exhibits.

Wonderful art museum!

Tisi is an excellent art museum. The staff dies a good job with selecting the rotating artists. We enjoy visiting here several times each year.

Intriguing, fun and fairly diverse art. Has a small sculpture garden. The entire museum is relatively small but its still definitely worth a visit. There is no admission fee but donations are suggested

This place has some great art to look at and study too. I have been coming to this place place since I was a kid. Great place for art.

What an incredible space! The MONA provides an amazing art experience that should be on everyones must see list when traveling through Nebraska.

Delightful place to visit with plenty of things to see both indoors and out.

The art was wonderful! The people who work there, on the other hand, not so great. They were watching TV on their phones and didnt engage or really interact with anyone. Not even each other.

The Musueum of Nebraska Art is always a great place to go see wonderful artwork. I dont visit nearly enough, but I always enjoy my time there.

Very interesting place to visit for a couple of hours. We enjoyed seeing the puppets by the puppeteer that worked with the Sound of Music.Especially since it is free to visit, if you are in the area and have a bit of time this is a great place to visit if you are interested in art displays.

Saw some nice exhibits.

New exhibits often and it is such a quiet place to just think things out. Used to go in College to just.. get away, now I take my kiddo there and he justs loves it.

Gay pride parade started here and it was great

Beautiful art gallery with a nice variety of Nebraska artwork. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here, then browse the gift shop, too!
