The reason for 3 stars is for a couple reasons. 1. They had one of the nicer kid areas closed. 2. The food prices have gone up. I ordered a grilled chicken club which is $12 and the chicken breast was maybe 3 oz. and it came with fries instead of giving me a choice. For $12 it should have been at least a 6oz breast. Would be great if they had fruit as a side selection. 3. The cabana rentals are high over $100. 4. When you enter the park you dont have to wear your mask WHICH I AM ALL FOR. However, the staff has to wear a mask. makes no sense at all to put their health at risk and yes wearing a mask all day has health risk. Other than that enjoy the park.

We have visited 13 times in just the past month. Its a blast everytime we go, but I would have to say on 7/15/2020, I witnessed the most sweetest act of kindness from one of your employees named America. She picked some of the little yellow flowers along the lazy T river, and was passing them out to the children. Keep up the great work and memories you create for all of us. Here are some pictures over the last month

I almost gave 5 stars but I stuck in the tube twice. Idk why. My boyfriend didnt stuck like me. The staff asked me did I let myself out from the tube before the signal was ready. I said no, The staff let me out. She pressed the button. No one asked me about how I feel. Fortunately, Im not scared or panic. Think about someone who stuck there and they might be scared. The place was cleaned. There has food, sweet and drinks in a suitable price. If you guys dont like crowded, I would recommend to go on weekday.

We are super thankful for Typhoon being a safe clean place to go during this 2020 summer. With no vacations or neighborhood pools open this is really a great place to cool off. Most the guards are nice and the managers are always friendly. Music has been so fun and prices on food aren’t too high. We have a great time every week when we go.

I loved Typhoon Texas! I went today and it was amazing. Probably the only fun attraction in my area that’s open even during COVID. It was really fun, fun slides, live music, great food ! It was all I could ever ask for from a water park. Now I will say my personal favorite slides was The Texas Typhoon and the Twister. I went on Typhoon about 3 times and the first time I got a little startled cause I didn’t expect the drop to be that steep ! Our raft went so high that we covered half of the star. It was so fun. The one next to it was even more fun! I loved how you rocked back and forth on that giant bubble it was amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a full day of family fun.

Really nice water park. We had planned to go to Schlitterbahn on our trip to Galveston but they closed for the season the weekend before we got there. Typhoon Texas was one of the very few water parks open in the air. We mostly went for the little kids activities which were great, but the water slides were nice too.

Absolutely amazing place for the ENTIRE Family, from Grandma, in-laws, to infants!! AMAZING food and reasonable prices for a WaterPark. This is definitely top on our list for some last minute Fun in the ! Their Beer & Cocktails are 100% Craft and are worth every penny & Reasonably priced! Its not overly expensive, but slightly more than what you would pay for at Chilis! The owner must be a very smart business man, because each location has a similar Experience which you grow to love in a franchise these days! ️ God Bless!

I totally agree that this summer would be wrecked without Typhoon Texas, they have these amazing season pass deals going on which is a stretch since we are a family of 5 but we made it work into our budget and we are feeling like it was the greatest decision ever! Fun for the whole family, water is cold and cools you down in these triple digits heat waves plus it’s super clean with extra disinfection going on and safety precautions already in place. Highly recommend this waterpark and the season pass deals won’t last much longer so act fast and when you book a private cabana you get all these Perks if we could afford that we’d do it every visit that’s how awesome they are, service is impeccable and thanks to your own wait staff you can sit back relax & enjoy their good food, great people and a boat loads of fun!

Typhoon Texas is a great and safe place to go with your kids for the day, in my opinion. There’s plenty of things to do, lots of different food and drinks. There’s lockers I’d you want to use those and everything can be bought with your wrist band. Easy, simple and fun. It does get crowded later in the day so it’s best to be there when it opens.

Horrible Place!!!!! You have to pay $45 to cross their precious gates even if you are a parent bringing a child to a birthday party and cannot (due to medical limitations) participate in any of the water activities. This is crazy. You cannot expect parents to drop kids off and demand party hosts who have tons to handle to be responsible for their kids on top of everything else. Not to mention this kid is family to me. They offer NO discounts, not even $5, 20% NOTHING and are not even apologetic about it. This will be my one and only visit here ever

The worst place to work at. They pay is horrendous for the amount of work that has to be done. $7.25. The managers are unprofessional. I got paid on July 22nd and on August 12th I go to ask for my check and this clown says we got paid last week. So I didn’t get my check on that day and I was very angry with them. They require so much to be done and the managers nit pick about everything. You could be doing the dishes and they come in and say “Make sure those dishes get done” like I wasn’t just doing them. If you’re looking for a job this place isn’t the place to work at. If I could give 0 Stars I would.

Bought a Season pass advertised on their website that is for 2021 but has the rest of 2020 for free. When I went to their park I was advised that the perks are not valid on 2020 such as the Free guest ticket we were to redeem or the discounted ticket prices for additional guests. In the website it is extremely unclear that the perks are not valid during this year except for the Early Entry which they specify for 2021. It took 30 minutes in the park for them to communicate that to us. Called their support number for a refund and after 20 minutes was transferred to a manager so they could explain that their policy does not allow refunds. During the whole time I spoke respectfully, not raising my voice nor cursing and advised that they should clarify in their website better. Instead the manager on the phone without empathy said Read the terms and conditions, there is no refunds and nothing about making any remediation on their site to ensure this doesnt happen to anyone. I have posted the site info on the pass. Make your own judgement.

Went here for my company picnic event so the water park was exclusively for use by the company. There were plenty of people so it felt like what would be on a typical day.Park is clean and has great rides. Not too many and not too little. Parking was free for our event; not sure what it is regularly. As with any water park, be prepared to climb a lot to get to the top of each tower. Also, some rides like the Monster Storm can have a wait time.Kids have a number of options too - Tidal Wave Bay and Lazy River. Also the Buckaroo Bayou, Howdy Hollow, and Gully Washer are designed for their entertainment.Food is good. I presume the food that was catered to us was from the Parks kitchen/catering. If so, it was alright. Nothing spectacular. Pricey as they are everywhere.

Great park! My family went for the first time yesterday and we have season passes for the year. Cant beat the price! My kids loved all the slides. Reservation due to COVID-19 kept the park from getting too crowded and the lines from getting too long. Lots of room and plenty of open tables all over. I felt the lockers were expensive @ $18 for a large. Running a good deal on season long refillable soda cups right now. Live entertainment was great. Queues are shaded for the most part. Bathrooms were clean. I love that tubes/mats are freely available for use on attractions and do not require renting like other parks Ive attended. Free parking too. We didnt get any food but will have to try some on our next trip this year (the BBQ smelled great!). So glad to have such an awesome park near where I live.

If you pay 24 hours in advance, the tickets are much cheaper. I paid approximately $24.00 per person. Once arriving log into your Typhoon Waterpark account and find your tickets. So dont forget your phone. This was our first time at the park on Monday July 1st 2019 and it was not crowded, minus all the extra tubes in the lazy river. The wait time to get on the Typhoon and Twister was about 15 minutes. Each tube hold at least 6 people and they put you all on a scale once you reach the top to make sure your group is heavy enough. With that being said those rides were definitely scary. (Like pee your panta scary. Maybe Im just getting old ) but one time is good for me for the rest of my life .I give this place 4 stars because they dont let you bring your own drinks and food into the park. I dont know about you, but the water always makes my kids hungry. I ended up paying around $80.00 for lunch that day. 2 large pizzas (approximately $24.00 EACH) and 2 Refilled cups (approximately $14.00 EACH)When you purchase your refill cup they place a color wrist band on you, this gives you access to the several refill stations around the park. Each station is guarded by employees standing around and checking to make sure you have a band, so no sneaking to get a quick drink. The pizzas were frozen pizzas but already cooked waiting for you to purchase them.Over all I would definitely go back and visit but I will definitely leave for lunch and bring a waterproof pouch case so I can take more pictures of my children laughing.Over all for the 5 of us I spent a little over $200 but it was worth the smiles and memories we built that Summer day. .
