My daughter enjoys cooking and last year we were trying to find summer activities and came across Cook N Grow. Im so thankful we did! My daughter loves Mrs. Ginna and her staff. She said everyone is so friendly and helpful and they really take the time explaining steps to you. Your kids are in great hands and you can tell they thoroughly enjoy teaching their craft! My daughter had such a blast her first week, we signed her up for another week! If you are thinking about doing this for your kiddos, do it!! Your kids will enjoy it, they will come home and showcase their skills and their confidence level in the kitchen will indeed rise! We are already planning our weeks for this coming summer!

Buyer beware. If you sign your child up for a class here, it is possible that they will cancel the class on you or provide you notice of cancellation 2 hours before class time. My daughter has attended one class here, and she loved it, but apparently her class time didnt generate enough interest for other people so the owner decided to cancel the class and provided me notice only 2 hours before class. I was commuting home so missed the message and only found out once I showed up. Ok, I get that. So we were patient and waited for another class opening that fit our time schedule. When we found another one for a 4 class session in February, we signed up and were excited. Because I had been burned before I checked my email religiously all day (no cancellation notice) and then called just to double check as I headed to class with my very excited daughter. What would you know, the owner had decided to not only cancel the class, but she cancelled the whole session and decided to move it to March! I received zero notification of this, and she still has my money as I paid the classes in full. I will be demanding a refund immediately and will not attempt to sign my daughter up again for any future classes. The owner decides to cancel and move her classes around at her full discretion with no consideration as to who has already PAID and signed up for a class that THEY posted on their website, and doesnt care one bit about providing notification. She referenced me to their cancellation policy, which I never saw on their website nor received a copy of at payment. Worst Customer Service!!!

My daughter did 2 weeks of Summer Camp at CooknGrow this year. She loved every bit of it. The programs that the center has are very interesting and my daughter brought home a new baked/cooked item home everyday during the camp. She also got to take home her favorite recipes, which she has tried several times at home. The camp gave my daughter more than just baking skills, it gave her leadership skills taught her to try new ingredients and above all to be creative. Would totally recommend the Center. The staff is very friendly and very responsive. My daughter has now planned her Birthday party as well at the Center which would be so much fun!!!!

This place is AMAZING I repeat AMAZING, everything was so hands on and fun! I went to their summer camp and absolutely loved it! Best time of my summer definitely going again

My girlfriend and I attended a date night class at Cook N Grow with some friends and had a blast! The owner, Gina, is so much fun and had us laughing the entire class. We learned to make ravioli from scratch and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend Cook N Grow for your next date night or activity with friends!

Cook n grow has given me so much more experience with baking and cooking! The staff is SOOOOO kind, patient, friendly, and helpful. This is no doubt a 5 star place and the best summer camp in Katy. I would recommend this for ANYONE. Cook n grow teaches kids and adults so much about baking and cooking. Thank you to all the Cook n grow staff, especially Ms. Gina!!!

We first visited cook n grow for a birthday party, my son loved it. We all enjoyed it, it was refreshing to see the kiddos working together and making sense of their recipes. We visited again for summer camp, not a disappointing drop. We will return. Thanks Gina and staff.

My kids loved the chocolate therapy and Teens chopped last week. My kids loved working with the other kids there and their instructors. We will be visiting again. Thanks for this enriching experience!

My daughter and her best friend have attended two of the summer camps and they have LOVED both. Staff is positive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who has a child that is interested in cooking or baking. Thank you Ms. Gina.

Our 14 and 12 year old took the Cake vs. Cake camp. They had a great time and it was fun for them to bring their cakes home for us to try! I would definitely send them to camp here again.

I didn’t know anything about Cook N’ Grow before enrolling both of my sons in classes during spring break. I just googled “kids cooking classes in Katy” and signed them up! My boys are 5 and 6 and absolutely LOVED the classes! So much so, they have already done multiple classes this summer. My son came home and couldn’t wait to tell me about the HUGE cheeseburger he cooked from start to finish in the “Chopped” class yesterday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We celebrated our son’s birthday at Cook and Grow-Katy and I’m really impressed! It was a very enjoyable. We all had fun and will definitely be returning for future classes and summer camps. Thanks Gina and the whole team, I highly recommend the experience!

I decided to give this place a try because of mouth to mouth recommendations. Cook’n Grow has been a great experience for my daughter. The staff is kind and patient, they do care about making this a great experience for the kids. I definitely recommend them and will be coming here for future classes.

This place is horrible. The owner is rude and needs to hire staff that actually enjoys what they are doing. If you are trying to find a fun place for your children this is not the right place. Stay away from this place!

My 6yr old attended the MiniCakes week long camp, he was so excited prior to the class. And it did NOT disappoint...he was so happy and had so much fun. He wants to go back again, for another class! He learned how to mix and reinforced his ability to follow directions.Only down side, parents werent told that the MiniCakes would be sent home on a small plate without a box...but after the first day we were prepared with some Tupperware to travel with the leftovers...I would recommend to any one whose kids are interested in baking/cooking.
