Great. Went down to party tonight cause it seemed like an awesome concept
This place is unlike any other. Each level of the building have a different ambiance and vibe. The Braodway arcade is ran by a couple of very engaging and kind people. They obviously loved what they did and understood how much Kansas City needs a place like they have. Typically Im a bit stingy with my money, but I had zero qualms about supporting their business and I felt their prices were very fair. I wish I could add even more stars, but I cant. This place is awesome!!! Side note... they are open every day... I have no idea why maps says theyre closed on Fridays. They are very much open.
Highly recommended this location if you are looking for a high energy, highly stimulating environment with tons to do! They have events on many night of the week and weekend. The staff is always very friendly, and I have always had a great time there. Also, there is a Super Smash Bros tournament every Tuesday night!
Great lunch specials. The tacos and hamburgers are very good. Asked the manager about gluten free options ( hard shell tacos and GF hamburger bun ) and she said shed try to have them by next week. Very impressed with that.
They have 6 pinball machines. But not as many old school arcade machines. They have a free throw and skee ball. This place would be much better for a group then just a couple then lets say Tap Arcade which is cramped in side but has lots of games.
Im not usually a big arcade type person, but went there with friends and had a good time. Even met a few new people in the mix. Enjoyable and laid back. Good place to have drinks, music, games and chill.
Depressing atmosphere. Cops give a terrible vibe.
Get this, the arcade currently has no arcade games. Zero. Nada. Were currently switching game providers, they say. I tell you what, Kansas City is a strange place.
I would recommend your manager, John Anthony, not ridicule and use extremely discriminatory language about customers while he’s at your establishment. It’s very offensive and makes us question ownership. Our group and other friends of ours will never patronize this establishment so long as this behavior is allowed.
I’m always up for some date night playing arcades and we went on sunday night. Great place downtown to hang out, have some drink and food and enjoy old school games. Arcade for grown-ups love it.I wish there was a much bigger game selection but hey Dave & Buster’s is still not big enough for me (I’ve been to multi-storeys japanese arcades so my expectations are out of there but if anyone decides to fill a building with arcades hit me up) and if you’re tired of playing videogames you still have pool and darts.
Honestly better than other arcades in the area. This place is spread out and has better priced drinks and games. They also have the games on a card so you don’t have to carry around a pocket full of quarters.
Both Broadway Arcade (top floor) and Beer 30 are excellent. Fun hangouts, a lot of game choices (including two virtual screens), and wide choice of drinks
Fun place for a fun evening. They need to fix the prop situation in the golf area. They didnt have one working t-stand for the whole place. Other stuff was missing too.
Best arcade! Best price!
It was decent. Some of the games didnt work and the virtual games were just ok. But it was cheap and a good atmosphere with good music, worth checking out.
Very cool place, dont know what else to say.
Free table tennis, yo! $20 will get you enough tokens to last for a few hours. Pool tables are cheap- $1 per game. Cool atmosphere, good music and good drinks. 3D sports game was worthless but expensive. Thats why I give this place 4 stars instead of 5.
Lots of fun! Great drinks & a decent game selection.
Such an amazing environment and so much fun! They had a great drink selection and awesome bartenders!
If it werent for a random kids party running around for part of our visit, it would have been perfect.
When we have adult arcades like Tapcade and UpDown in town, it’s hard to take this one seriously. There is pool and ping pong, super smash bros, and a smattering of arcade games. The night we went, the games kept losing electricity and turning off, and about a third of them were out of order. The bar was good, and there were security guards and policemen everywhere. All adult males had to be patted down upon entering. We went on a Stranger Things theme night and they really went for the theme, which was fun. Lots of photo ops and decorations, and a little haunted house that was the “upside down”The whole thing had the vibe of a college party, and I enjoyed it but also would have loved some real arcadeyness to back it up.
I was thinking about doing a birthday party here, and when I called for information on how much games cost, the host who answered was rude. Worse than that she was ignorant to her own place of employment. She couldnt answer a simple question.
I wish it was a prize type arcade but either was it was a fun and lots of games and classics like Donkey Kong and Pacman
Limited games, no longer open to 3am, and ridiculous cover charges to get in.
The service was not what I was told to expect. It was awful. The food was not good and when I asked to speak to someone I was told that was impossible.I will tell people the truth about this place........ Wish it could be been better service. Customer service is a plus in a place like this. And it was NOT
Had my birthday here. Multi levels, games, dancing, sports, good staff, you name it.
Super fun! They have an air hockey table! Staff are so nice and helpful. Great atmosphere.
Theres like no games and the ones they have are broken
Ive only been there for a party, was fun and everyone was friendly. Games were fun, talk about guitar hero.
Not an arcade, just a bar playing annoyingly loud music with arcade machines. Couldnt hear a damn thing from any of the machines. They have a guitar hero cabinet and an in the groove dance cabinet which require you to hear them in order to even play them...Completely unplayable.
Not enough people there. Why cant KC keep cool places open?
I was very pleased with the atmosphere until there was an issue about the type of music being played
Cool little hangout spot but the games are a little retro but the live DJ was a good twist
Great environment diverse crowd
Good place to hide out for a while, play some video games and drink.
Great find, great music. Bit more seating would be good
Cool atmosphere. Husband likes going.
Went here for a Halloween party with the kids and dinner. Dinner was good in parts overrated in others......the gaming was really fun. We will head back when we are in downtown kc.
Great atmosphere. I enjoyed the D.J. The free admission was not honored at the door, per the FB flyer, but it was just $5. There was a glitch with the new token system but management made up for the inconvenience! #Servicematters
Great atmosphere! Great games! Food and drinks are great too!!
#localspot its very fun and good for a date.
Awesome friendly staff, food was great, karaoke was a blast. Really enjoyed my evening
This place has CRAZY COOL DECOR and a Bar! Awesome Old School Arcade Games are Great!
Another great Barcade on the second floor on Broadway/10th street. Check it out if you like classic arcade games or multiplayer video games!
Great atmosphere, good customer service, never too crowded
Dropped in after a 10 spot pop up show . All my peoples was having a good time
I went to this arcade a couple of times before and it was ok, but I went there this week and the staff was RUDE the service was HORRIBLE, i heard this was a great place to go for fun game playing but obviously its not, I saw the employees drinking alcohol, the bartender was drunk and rude, I didnt understand the dislike against my husband and I we never caused any trouble there at all,so I dont recommend this place for fun activities if you get that look when you walk through the door like your not wanted there, if you know what I mean.
Great food, fun, and different times to be had on each floor. A must visit
It was okay. They were running a pretty sweet deal on the games but the cocktail I had was kind of iffy.
Great bartender
Air hockey was broken.
Fantastic bartender
Lots of fun. Really cool artwork and great music.
Had a great time here..
Pretty fun place to hangout .
A lot of potential here, its a fun upbeat place, but needs more of a variety of games.
Awesome
An adult oriented arcade with a full Bar and happy hour 3 to 7 with half price bar food (burgers, fries, wings, etc.). You can bring the kids or anyone under 21 until 9, they have a nice Virtual Reality setup, golf, football and sports simulators, ski-ball, Nintendo, Classic and modern video games, music or DJ, a nice clean large space and a very friendly staff. We spent 2 hours playing a variety of games while enjoying drinks and had a fun night.
It was totally awesome!!! We didnt want to leave!!!
Fun, cool staff, affordable
Super cool!
Everything you could want in one building. Add it to the arsenal of other services in this building, theres no need to go out in the snow or heat.
Just trust me ...five stars
