Nice little place to get a drink and food if you need something to eat. Has 1 pool table due to covid and have some dart boards to play on as well. Saturday nights are really fun with SWAMPY as the DJ

Laid back. Diverse crowd. Kind of a local bar/hole in the wall with great food and drinks.

More of a rowdy crowd. Mix of people. Been once with friends, had a good time. Looked to be a pool table, dance floor, and many dart machines. Big, open bar. Drinks are consumer friendly. Dont think they serve food but not sure.

Dont have the grilled cheese. My 5yr old could make a better sandwhich.

A nice hole in the wall bar.The bartenders are friendly and fast.The food is good, but I had to ask the bartender for a menu.There are plenty of darts.The bar seems to get busier around midnight.The bathroom were clean for a bar, but the paper towels are not always full.

Meeehh.. Really not my kinda place. But drinks were descent prices. Many dart board stands which I really enjoyed. Music was not for me either and I like all types of music. Place just looked trashy. Not cleaned up. It looks like its rundown and will shut down one day soon..lol. Did have cool bartenders tho.. Big ups for that!!Bar sucks... Bartender Rock!!

This place just isnt fun. No bands, service is lacking, and youd think theyd clean it up better.

This is my favorite hole in the wall bar. Bartenders are great, I love that they still do karaoke (and I dont have to go to Westport anymore for it) they always have a variety of characters and I just like the overall atmosphere.

The beer / tap beer was very tangy tasting & was yuck .. I say this because two weeks ago during the Texans game, I was present & the tap beer was okay, two weeks later yuck maybe it was a bad keg or they dont flush the tap lines, the food wasnt very good either, I ordered the nachos supreme & the lettuce tasted just as tangy as the beer, it was Velveeta Blanco cheese they were using, and the ground beef with Im not sure what they mixed in for spice .. I ended up separating the not coated chips to get what I paid out of it ... But hey the bottle beer was good, priced right, patrons seemed to be friendly as I stayed later than expected, had some karaoke going from 9 pm till midnight, and the pool shooters put up some good game

Im never disappointed, after growing up eating there over 40yrs... Fun, open & serve food late, games to play, cold beer and music and karaoke on certain nights. Bartender & cook are very friendly. Its my kickback place where I always feel at home. Good food...

Bathrooms are small. Drinks are decently priced. Went for a show, Magic Mike XXL, decent setup. Not enough seating for all but it worked. Parking lot filled up and some in our party had to park on the street.

I like this place. It gets pretty busy busy on weekend and karaoke night. Its a 3:00 bar so thats pretty cool. The drink prices are decent. It gets 4 stars simply because I havent Jay in my ideal life.

Best Bar in Kansas City for me hands down. Friendly Staff some of whom have become amazing friends over the years and continue. Great Bartenders, Owner, Security Staff, Waitresses. Everyone of them are amazing great people who are more than happy to serve you. Great appetizers and food. Drinks and food all at pocket friendly prices. Good music and Good vibes. Staff is quick to stop conflict as to keep the environment enjoyable for other customers.

Close to home. Prices for the food on the menu items are affordable as well as delicious. Highly recommend the tacos. The salsa is very unique. At 145 lbs., the most Ive put away in 1 setting is 12 tacos . The bar is a quiet reserved atmosphere through the week for the most part. With a wide variety of shots, beer in both bott5Now I on Friday Nights it is time to get get up and get, ggget down !! The crowd is filled with a awesome Lil female professional DJ that adds a Lil bit of a spark to the already buzzing crowd ! She takes request from m parts is that they are open until 3 AM. So do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a night at Squirrelys. And remember dont drink and drive and try to make sure you or your friends have a designated driver or have plans for Uber to pick you up and just download the app and have the agreed pickup time and youll be able to see who and see the drivers whereabouts when he or she is enroute to pick you up. First visit and I let the bartender surprise me with a couple of drinks as we sat at the bar. Wasnt disappointed either time. The second one Pineapple Upside Down Cake was the best. Bartender very pleasant and out going.

Squirrelys is awesome! They have a lot of karaoke. Wide variety of people who visit this place leaves it feeling very open and not judgmental. There is an outside area but music doesn’t play out there. Pool tables if you’re into that. Chill place. Great hole in the wall bar

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Was physically assaulted by the staff for smoking in a designated area, outside of the building . If you are a Ford hourly employee or even management, avoid this place.

Karaoke is always a good time. Drinks are strong, prices fair and company is usually entertaining.

Such a laid back and fun place to hang out. Couple pool tables, darts, karaoke, and reasonably priced drinks. Bartenders are great too.

Day bartender is the rudest person. And apparently shes never heard of sweet and sour in Margaritas. Once she said I was stupid cause I didnt want to listen to trump and asked her to put on something non political. Once I was telling a friend my sister died the day before from cancer. She butts in and ask not politely, if we could stop talking about death. I had a few words for her, walked back in, took my tip back, and left for good.

Best hole in the wall around. Known the staff for a long time, but they are some of the best people/servers I know. They make some mean drinks and tasty foods. Good value, great time, and easy going atmosphere!

So...the good stuff...my other half and I decided to check out Squirrelys because of the good reviews and we also live close. We were pleasantly surprised! Not really a dive bar, more like your friendly neighborhood bar. This bar has great staff and an awesome DJ! We didnt try the food but will next time. You cant beat the drink prices and it had a great atmosphere. Now the negatives...needs work on the bathroom door locks and also needs a few more tables and chairs. We are looking forward to karaoke thus weekend!

Pretty much like everybody else has said it looks like a dive bar but they take pretty good care of you and have decent free live bands.... considering where its located..... its good... and actually the best option for live music rock and roll in the Northeast part of the Northland until you get to Liberty for sure

All the bartenders seem like they actually want you too have a good time. Every time. Every time I go to Power and Light the bartender always seem to be angry or not care about customer service I guess since they always have unlimited customer base I dont have to worry. Every time I go to squirrely the bartender is very friendly and seems to want me to feel like I am a regular

Love this place, owned by a great guy and friend who took over the original bar I called myy home away from home before he sold it and bought and opened Squirrelys. Now a bar I only get to visit when back in my hometown town, I make a large effort to visit Squirrelys with every visit back. Great price and selection, good food, awesome servers and service, great crowd, a good amount of parking but can get very busy especially on weekends and holidays and during warmer months. Love, love, love the crew and enviroment. Even offers poker nights, a few pool tables, and darts, live music, djs, and outside smoking patio. Not really an upscale type of place falls more into the catigory of classic dive bar but I pefer those places and the crowds there better. If you have a problem with dive bars and prefer upscale, luxury bars then this is not the place for you.
