We were not able to visit the actual old quindaro townsite and we didnt go into the museum we would like it if we could do that go into the actual Old Town site this seems to be an overwhelming focus on the black history of this small community of which my relatives were citizens Id like to see more of the white history examined in this area. It wasnt just a stop on the Underground Railroad but also a thriving Community with many businesses my grandfather owned and operated Keystone Wagon Works in that Community but I see no mention of it
This museum has the history of us in the history of the Native Americans you can learn a lot by going to this museum I recommend that you go in the summer time so you can see everything indoors and out
Because of the history of this museum and I practical live across the street
Loving learning about all the history
They should really make this a must see
