Lady at the gun counter where they sale firearms did not treat me like the customers before me. Had a smerk on her face instead of a smile. Could definitely tell she did not want to help me. So I said Im OK and found a gentleman that was 10 times more helpful and nice.

My wife and I took our conceal carry class here. Was a great class, Chuck was awesome and very knowledgeable about all of it, and then some. While I was there, I purchased an AR-15, just because I can for now, and the price was good, plus they only had 1 of the Ruger models. I will go back, probably to buy another firearm. Great people, great place.

I went in last night and again this morning and for the life of me could not get someone to help me. Last night I waited 30 and today the same. I came and left twice without help. I won’t go back there anytime soon to inquire about merchandise or purchase what I want. Looks as though they don’t have enough staff. They could certainly use a team member to greet and take names at least. With no systems in place I felt unimportant to say the least.

Great place to shoot. It was my first time at this range. Every range has different rules, only brass casings at this range. 2 people per fireing lane only. I had a new gun and Its been a while since I shot last. The staff made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Definitely 5 service.

I love going to Frontier Justice! The membership is worth it and its a good friendly atmosphere. The rifle range and hand gun range equipment distance selector works well and is easy to use. Also, love how the rifle range can go 150 ft.

It’s official, their service has gone way downhill. It’s three strikes. Tonight I actually had an employee raise her finger and interrupt me mid question to take a phone call.2 weeks ago while purchasing 2 firearms I was told I had to pay for my guns before I could look to see if they had a holster for the pistol. After paying they shrugged their shoulders and said I guess we don’t have one.... probably wouldn’t have purchased the pistol if I had known that.10 days ago I went in 30 minutes before closing knew what I needed. micro red dot for the other firearm I had purchased. Had to stop by late since I was put on eternal hold earlier in the day when I called. The staff ignored me until I asked if I could buy this one in the glass case.I understand that these are trying times. Staff gets worn down, with the high volume of business at firearms stores. It’s one thing for customers to pay a little more to keep business local and with local ownership. But... with premium prices comes the necessity for at least average service. Not indifference.

Everyone was so nice, helpful and friendly. I believe his name was Mark that helped us. He was fantastic, everyone was wonderful. He showed me the do’s and don’t’s of handling a gun. Asked me questions while I was holding it so I could see how comfortable I was with all aspects of the gun. He gave thorough explanations that were easy to understand. He also explained other “perks“ of the store, for example the gun range, membership fees, and special nights. We had my 70-ish mom with us and she was sitting down and waiting. Someone who worked at the store bought her a drink while she was waiting, which was very nice and a good example of every associate in the store. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

My experience in signing up for membership online and then going into the store/range to get my membership card went flawlessly and quickly. Being able to reserve a range time in line was super easy and a wonderful perk. Everything went smoothly. The range was a nice cool temperature instead of being hot as Hades, as Ive experienced at other ranges. I look forward to continue sharpening my skills as I use the range on a regular basis.

Overall nice experience. Especially with the range officer in the morning. But At least hire some minorities like Cabelas (Not just to clean the store either).

The staff at this location is the best. Karley and Brandon give the best customer care of any firearms store in the Kansas City area. They are attentive to the Customers and very patient with you even if you have no clue what you are looking for. Everyone I have talked about this place likes the atmosphere when at the range. Roger one of the range officers is very active when on range to make sure everyone is safe.

Went here the other day and they were fantastic. I had very specific requirements for what I was looking to buy and they were able to show me several options and walk me through the differences. I just felt comfortable with the staff. It was super busy when I was there and everyone was hustling to try and take care of all the customers. Bought a pistol and with background check and all was out in little over an hour

When I asked a question they took the time to make sure I understood the answer and when I asked for a specific item they knew exactly where it was... I spent a great deal of money there and everything I purchased was quality.......,,,now if your thinking that I’m sugar coating any of this let me reassure you that if the experience had been anything but what it was you’ld be reading about instead.To sum up my experience, it was fun, a learning experience, as well as respectful and as a gun owner very fulfilling. Wont shop here again. Wanted to purchase a firearm, but they want to charge full list price. Understandable due to it is an order, and firearms are in high demand. I brought in a handgun that we purchased at this location 1 year ago and is absolute perfect condition. Maybe 100 rds have been fired with it. The trade in offer was so low I just laughed. Told the girl I wasnt interested in ever trading or doing business here again. Told her I could get the same gun for less at Cabelas. On my way. Bye Fronrier Justice forever. You shouldnt be so condescending with customers.

They are great. The class we took was well done I enjoy the time on the range. Every time I have asked a question from any of there employees they have gave me good answers and did not act like I was a burden. I have to say that the fire arms fitting with Reed was the best. He took the time needed to work with my wife and she got exactly the fire arm that fits her.

Great place to take your Girlfriend and let her shoot some guns! They have a decent selection of guns you can trade out and shoot if you dont have or did not bring your own.

I needed to purchase a new handgun, holster and ammunition. I went to Frontier Justice after going to the big box retailer across the street (only other sporting goods store at Legends). I felt like I was dismissed/ignored at the other retailer. As soon as I walked into Frontier Justice, I was greeted warmly by Reed. He was very patient and listened to my needs. I was on a very tight budget, and had an idea of what I wanted. He showed me several guns in the range of what I wanted. Reed was very knowledgeable about the product, was straightforward about the costs and what to expect. I would recommend anyone needing a gun or any other accessories to go check out Frontier. Great staff, excellent prices and access to both a range that is very nice and classes as well. Great experience all around!

Clean, great variety of all firearms, affordable, great stock on ammo and bullets. My only complaint is that they need to focus on one customer at a time. I understand that they want to provide good customer service, but its slightly frustrating trying to buy a gun and you have the clerk stopping doing what they are doing with you just to give someone a mag pouch. Just focus on one customer start to finish. Overall its a great place.

Great place with a great selection! The staff is awesome, especially Reed, the gentleman that helped us and he was WONDERFUL! I came in with someone experienced with guns, and I am not. He knew that, and tailored the way he spoke to each of us accordingly, which was awesome. He was great at assessing my needs/wants, and recommended exactly what I needed, even though it wasn’t what I thoughtttt I wanted. He could tell I needed to try it myself to he took his time take me to shoot it and taught me all the proper ways to go about it, and it made all the difference. I have always had a positive experience at Frontier Justice. The staff is always professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that when it’s busy, it can take a long time to get help.

I would not recommend this range. Centerfire has better facilities, better range safeties, and their staff is more friendly. If you don’t have a Frontier Justice Membership, they treat you like second class citizens. Why would I buy a membership just to be treated better? Customer service and respect, should be the same for members and nonmembers. Never going back.

Just wasted a membership at this place for nothing. Accused my daughter of smelling like Marijuana and 3 other employees also said that. I am absolutely positive she only smoke cigarettes and she was with me the entire morning. Went to breakfast, then Cabelas. Then some lady I never seen at the gun counter ruins our entire day.I wouldbe advising everyone I know not to go here after being treated like that. I have been going here for years. But this new lady (maybe she only works mornings) cost you guys alot of business. Id pay double for the same thing then shop at this store again.

First time using Frontier Justice and had a good experience. Gave it 4 stars only because I went in for one purpose which was to use the range so really didn’t shop or interact with anyone except for one person to pay for the range so really don’t have enough information to judge it. Do wish they had a larger gun display but then again it is a gun range and not a gun shop. All in all it was good and will definitely be back.

Beautiful facility. People are great. Very knowledgeable. They explain, answer questions but their is no pressure too buy something. On top of all this it is a great family place. Kids to teenagers will love it as long as they are well behaved.

Went in on 8/25/2020 to get a quote for a gun I wanted to trade after getting quoted $300 for a trade the previous week, I decided to go through with it. I asked the same guy about trading it in that I had talked to the week before & he said he would go get his manager. Nice little blonde haired lady came out and took my firearm to the back and after some time gave me a quote of $250. I informed her I was given a different price last week and told her what it was. She asked me who it was and I pointed to the guy. She then rudely said “Well he’s not the manager. So....” I declined her offer, made a payment on my layaway and walked out the door. I called to ask for her name on the way home and someone asked for what rudely. I decide to turn around and go back in to the store. I ask to cancel my layaway and was told the manager had to cancel it. I get the same blonde woman and she asked me why would I like to cancel it. I told her that I just want to.... She cancels it and I lose $150 which is fine and I understood that from day one of starting the layaway. Needless to say... if the regular associates can’t make quotes don’t let them. And two maybe next time have respect and explaining if the value went down or whatever the case may be instead of being rude. Took my money to a local pawnshop and found the gun cheaper. I’ll never go to frontier justice again.

Great store. Had hoped to find more 9 mm ammo, but that is really not available anywhere right now.

Went for a holster for a relatively new model of 9mm. I had only been there perhaps 2 minutes before a gentleman came up to me asking if he could help. Considering how busy they were, I was impressed. Id been having difficulty finding a holster that would fit, both the model, and meet the requirements from my job. I explained the situation and he immediately began pulling holsters off the wall and letting me try each one until we found one that would work. Its a beautiful facility and the service is top-notch. Ive only ever gone once, but if my first experience is any indication as to how this place operates, I will certainly be back.

Ive been dragged into a lot of ranges and gun stores by my husband over the years. All of the others are dark, dirty and geared only towards men. I was usually the only female in the building and it made me feel very uncomfortable. Staff would only talk to my husband. It was like I wasnt even there. Then he took me to Frontier Justice. I can honestly say that as a woman, this is the only gun range/store I feel comfortable in. It is so different! Everyone that works there is nice and welcoming. My husband likes it because they arent pushy like some of their competitors and they know their stuff. He says they have the best selection of guns at reasonable prices. I say they have the best boutique in town. Yes, a gun store with a boutique! I dont mean camo. Im talking about pretty clothes and jewelry! This store has it all!

Just finished my Basic Pistol Class at the KS location. Tom was a fabulous instructor! I had zero experience in shooting and by the time I left the range I felt at ease and ready to buy my first firearm which I did!I first met with Brandon and he was very informative. I really like your facilities. They are clean, employees are friendly and helpful. You sent me a text asking for my last experience. Here they are.I have two concerns:1. When I reserve range time online, why do I have to prove it when I arrive at the range? I have had to show confirmation emails depicting that I have an allocated range time. You are using a digital system, it should be integrated so when I show up I just have to show my membership card.2. Paid in advance for class that was set for March 27. Due to Covid 19 and State shutdown I was called to reschedule my class for April. I expressed concern that I did not feel comfortable coming in April. Then was told May. I said I didnt think it was going to be safe in May and asked for my money back. I was refused and told no refunds. I can understand under normal circumstances no refunds but there is a health crisis going on. Was told to call and reschedule when I feel comfortable.

Frontier Justice Legends is absolutely fantastic! Low pressure, knowledgeable staff. Great set up and clean. I bought my first AR15 from them and they answered all my questions and took time to treat me as if I was the only one in the store.

Rick H is a super Friendly worker that gave me a lot of information on the Sig sauer p229 legion that help me justify the price and quality of the firearm and when i had Questions about The difference between carrying with a permit and Kansas open carry he told me the drawbacks between the two without hesitation. We had a super fun experience will be coming later down in the future to to purchase a new firearm.

Went in as first timer. It was emotional & overwhelming. All was good till I had an older man who was supposed to help me actually shoot my first gun. He started reprimanding me like a child, talked down to me & would not listen to me. I asked for manager which he didnt get for me. I never got to shoot or buy a gun. I got my money back and will never go back. Wasted my whole afternoon.

Had an excellent experience at Frontier Justice. In particular, Eli, Isiah, and Becky were extremely helpful in sharing their knowledge. They made sure I was not only satisfied with my purchase, but that I understood how everything in my purchase would help me to learn more as a shooter. I attended the basic pistol class tonight and Reed was the instructor, who was just phenomenal! As a woman, I can easily feel a bit intimidated at a pistol range, but Reed was extremely kind and reassuring! I felt at ease right away as he coached and mentored me putting rounds down range, something I hadn’t done for several years. He also recommend several rental pistols to try to find one that fit me. I’m actually buying the first one he recommended, but I was able to try several before settling on a Glock. Chris, the person behind the rental counter was also very, very helpful as he pulled out 5 different pistols for me to try - it was easy to see that he really likes people and helping them as well. This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much, Reed and Chris!! It was a great evening with you.

My wife and I took a pistol class here last night so my wife could familiarize herself with her new .22 handgun. Tom did an excellent job of teaching us about handgun mechanics and safety as well as stance. His vast experience obviously contributed a great deal to the classroom and practical range setting. He spent a lot of time helping my wife feel more comfortable firing her new gun and giving her a lot of great pointers. The results of his help were visible as she starting shooting much better :). He even showed us after class how to take our handguns a part to clean them. Thanks to Tom for the great class. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a class from him and will be sure to take one again!

Came to purchase 2 firearms but due to the overwhelming applications for background checks I wasnt able to leave with them. Everyone was really nice and informative also with the times the way they are staff was great. This was last week so I got in contact with a gentleman named Mike today. He helped me out letting me know that they would be opened during the lockdown. I did appreciate the fast response I got after leaving a message.
