Very relaxing. Was raised here in 58-74. Stayed until 85, went to Colorado, came back just last year to live. Through the 35 years of Colorado, came here once a year to visit family and always stopped at Birds Park. Already been to Birds Park over 10 times since I have been here. I love Birds Park. Always clean

We take family fishing trips down here alot in nice weather & the view is beautiful I love how open it is so the kids have a place to play & run while waiting for fish bites on their poles

Its a very quiet beautiful park. Most people keep to themselves here and are very respectful. when people come to listen to music that usually wear their headphones and are very respectful. I love coming here to eat my lunch.

A beautiful park. Eating Ice Cream and watching all of the birds, geese, ducks, and squirrels basking in the sunshine. We watched the river flowing and the fishermen trying to catch fish in the quarry. A very restful visit to the park.

It was just ok. Alot of noise from emergency vehicles.

It has a park, a fishing spot, a small wooded area and birds. Good place to relax after getting ice cream. The park could use some fixing up though.

High traffic of people enjoying the parks amenities. KPD presence in the park, so even for a non native of the city, its a great place for walking. Watch the Geese, they can be aggressive especially when their babies are present.

Its a very nice place to take your children with lots of activities to do on the playground however it is very close to the river and not fenced in so you must watch your child

Great park been going since I was a kid could do better on the goose poop removal from side walks.

Its a clean family park. Able to sit by the river. Lots of picnic tables and good playground equipment.they also have a very nice well maintained splash pad in the summer months for the kids. In the winter they do lights in the park where it is a guided tour on the radio thru the park and all the lights dance to the music. It is kind of a cool thing they do but they do charge a fee per car. The park is well maintained and a great view of the weather.

Theres birds at the park. And squirrels. Its by the river. Hahaha

Its a quiet place to relax and enjoy the day. Plus, a great place to have lunch or a snack with a view.

Pleasant walk through the park! Like the sign says, lots of birds. Parents: make sure your children avoid the large amount of bird droppings all over.

Lovely place along the Kankakee river. I enjoy taking my grandson here to play. I do think something should be done about the abundance of duck and goose droppings all over the park. Especially where the children play. Difficult to walk through the park. Im afraid for my grandson to play or sit in the grass. Isnt that the fun of going to the park?

This is a wonderful Park along the river and there is a quarry in the center of the park. You can feed the fish and they have fishing tournaments in the spring

There parc is nice it has good fishing lots of gease can go fishing on the bank of the river

The splash pad doesnt work!!@ rest room needs to be torn down!! Playground needs to be spruce up!! City doesnt have the money to fix things!!!

Blues BBQ fest was great!

Well the bathrooms have been vandalised and theres no toilet paper, half the time. I went there a few times and people have been writing stuff on the walls. Even port potties have been vandalised too.
