Took a tour during covid and it was fine and easy. Did need to call ahead to set a time and date but that was fast and easy. The tour itself was great. A lot of information was given and the house itself was great to see and walk threw. You get to go all over the house other then the basement. The house has been put back to look like it used to in its glory days. Worth it if you like history and design.

Wonderful, history rich museum. We toured with Clarisse who was absolutely fabulous - very knowledgeable. For animal lovers, there are a few cats around the property who are affectionate and fun to be around. Definitely helps when you get there early for the tour! Gorgeous architecture. Highly recommend.

Whats not to love? We were 0.6 miles away and it was a lovely family walk. The grounds were originally totally unmanaged and now it is a hidden beauty of Kalispell, MT. We missed the tour, but walking the grounds alone is worth the trip! Lush, gorgeous flowers, a gazebo that screams romance... I would love to see the grounds lit up at night.

Dont judge by appearances. There are so many classic antiquities and gorgeous clothing in the house. The owner was such an early adopter. You can even see very old washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Very informative tour. It’s little bit pricy though. $17 per person.

If you get to Kalispell and if you like old Victorian mansions, you will not want to miss this place. Not cheap but worth it. 3 guided tours a day. Ours was led by a young college student who knew her stuff and did not bore us with a lot of irrelevant detail to show how much she knew. The tour was about 60-90 minutes. A very worthwhile activity.

Each time, I learn more about the home of one of the most prominent families that ever lived in the Flathead Valley. Found out that my grandparents lived in a home only 1 block south from the Conrad Mansion. Also, listed in the historic directory of Kalispell. However, did not learn this bit of information until I was an adult. Plus, saw Lucky the cat each time. Followed us all the way around the grounds.

I went there along time ago I believe it was while I was still in 5th grade but it was like a field trip so my class and I went to the Conrad mansion to have tour of it and I must say I don’t know how the teachers even got us in but I’m glad they did because inside was just awesome and very pretty. I wish to go in again with my husband and son as soon as I can afford it but that may take a while first. Although I must say I have biological parents that live in Kalispell so when I go up there to see them or just to shop around I always make a drive by a few times go really take in the outside which is always breathtakingly beautiful. Very well kept up on the outside and I love it when it’s all in bloom. Too bad we can have a tour next Friday on the 26th the husband has a doctors appointment very early in the morning so after the appointment it would just be great to just have a little time to wander around the grounds and have a tour. At least that’s my thought. I always will still love the mansion even if I don’t get to step foot in it anytime soon.

We went to the mansion for the Haunted ghost tour all it was was a run of the mill Halloween fun house. Ive noticed that most of the excellent reviews are coming from the people who went during their normal operational hours. I will say that when I was a kid we had a field trip to the Conrad mansion and it was exciting to see the house in the light of day. I think the next time they put on a farce such as this they should call it. The Conrad mansion haunted fun house.

Very disappointed with the ghost tour...paid $40 to walk through a completely dark house, not able to see any of the items in the rooms or ability to appreciate the history of the home. It was only 30 mins and youre forced through each dark room quickly while being forced to hear scripted ghost stories that come across as cheesy as the costumes. Wouldnt recommend it..and honestly I want a refund.

We stopped by for a visit, walked around in the newly refurbished gardens, which looked beautiful. Unfortunately, it was 1:15 pm and the tours of the mansion started on the hour, every hour. Seniors were charged $15.00 per person which seems a bit expensive. Anyway, we left to have lunch rather than waiting for 45 minutes.

Conrad Mansion is,beautiful! The antiques alone are something to make you stop & think about how easy we have it today. Chamber pots, wood heated system to dry clothing, a food processor you had to spin yourself. Amazing. The 3rd floor is my favorite.Although it is said to have some spirit activity inside, I have never experienced it. A member within my party as well as another guest though were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse. The tour guide Sharon, confirmed the experience for my party and said many people see it as well as all of the staff members running the home.A very interesting piece of Montana history to go and learn about.

Interesting tour of a 120 year old home. Highlights include Thomas Edison bulbs that still work, a huge custom stove from France, first generation laundry and dish washing machines, ect. My favorite was the three season growing room with a little stream and plants. The house was restored with nearly everything original from the home. I have toured several historical homes and this tour was the most informative at almost 2 hours long. It was $15 a person. No photography allowed, which seemed ironic since there was a cat living in the house.

This is an excellent tour. Things we really enjoyed: 1) The staff was amazing. Our guide was very personal, full of knowledge, related information well and made you feel like you were getting an “inside” tour. She was wonderful with our kids (8 and 10), and even let them into some of the rooms the adults were kept out of (so thankful they didn’t break anything). It was mainly enjoyable because our guide was so good. She was on her last week giving tours, and we felt very lucky to have been with her as she closes out this chapter of her life. 2) The rooms are decorated with the original decor. The family managed to keep nearly all the original furnishings and decor, and so walking through the house really does feel like stepping into a different era. I’ve been on other tours where many furnishings are staged, but this is all real and very authentic. 3) The amenities in the house are fascinating. Many things were way ahead of their time. Without spoiling all that the house contains, I think you will be impressed with how “modern” many of the gadgets are. 4) The story of the Conrad family is very interesting. The story progresses as you go from room to room, and it keeps you engaged the whole time. 5) The house is beautiful. This probably goes without saying, but it’s a wonderful house to view.Highly recommend this tour. For the price, it is well worth it.
