First date was here at Milham park and now we got our wedding photos shot there 2 1/2 years later. It’s beautiful there with the small river going through it and with all the flowers and wild life! It has a gazebo there so sometime people throw parties there, (or in our case on Saturday) someone was having a manorial there so plan accordingly to make sure you don’t mess up anyone’s big day or family gathering. Awesome pictures in the fall FYI!

This park is great for kids and familys. Has great pavilions in seperate locations as well as playgrounds. Portage creek flows through it and its nice to see no fishing signs to protect the spectacular scenery.

Bathrooms are rarely opened when there on my days off during the week. Have to always go to the other side which is always overrun with people. Some days they dont open them at all.. the guy said one time at 3 pm yup running late opening up today again seriously? How hard is your job to drive around and open the bathrooms. Just wow!

All this reminiscing has made me realize I really miss the rocket, and I couldnt help but wonder whats happened to all the Ducks? Still a beautiful day and great location to have fun with the kids and pets. Ive been coming to this park ever since I was my daughters age. Maybe we will get to enjoy another upcoming upgrade.

I love the variety of playgrounds, things to see, and things to do. We came here and my little one and did were able to walk around for an hour and a half (properly leashed, of course!). I like the bridges over the water features and the and mowed grass around a forest of mature trees.

Play structure is not very well maintained, but we still had fun. Tried to feed the ducks but they didnt like out oats and they just sink to the bottom before they ate them haha. Geese were plentiful and can be a little scary for little ones.

Always been one of my favorite parks in the area. I miss the old playground equipment!! The old space ship that you could climb to the tippy top, and to a 80s kiddo that way super high!Still a nice clean park that we go to when ever visiting Kalamazoo. Great place to take the family and spend the day.

When my children were small they loved this Park . So much so we made it a weekly event. They loved the water that they could walk in and explore, the geese they loved trying to catch. The play grounds one on each side. I dont give 5 stars only because I cant find the rules for having you dog there.

Beautiful, huge, good trail length, lots of playground equipment. Its a hit in my family! Only downside is during after school hours, unruly teens loiter and use foul language. A fight between 3 teens girls nearly broke out with a whole lot of f-bombs and bs when I was there with my 2 and 6 year old. Several other families were there too. Its because the city bus stop is right in front of the park. Unfortunate.

We had a beautiful few hours at Milham Park. The bathrooms seemed clean enough. There were a number of charcoal grills and picnic tables around the park. The pavilion was spacious. The creek and bridge were nice. The playground equipment are quite aged but in decent condition. Izzy loved the sandy area with her bucket and other sand toys. We only played on the he street side of the park. Next time well cross the bridge and check out the other side.

This is a beautiful park with a winding Creek, geese, ducks, picnic areas. At one time it was maintained a little better and was even home to a zoo! As it stands there is a beautiful bridge that loses stones each year and are not replaced... Our favorite swingset was removed. It looks like there is not as much money for park maintenance these days. Still a wonderful park...just showing its age.

They recommend you bring cracked corn or bird seed to feed the Canadian geese instead of bread. Its better for them. Couple of nice playgrounds for the kids lots of grilling areas thats a really nice place to walk your dogs but I highly recommend staying on the paths keep an eye out for the goose poop. Cant be helped just part of the package and its not terrible but if you slip in some it can be rather uncomfortable. The restrooms are usually pretty well-maintained also.

This is a beautiful spot. Great place for families and picnics. There is plenty to see (ducks, geese), the ponds are relaxing. Its a great place to just have a walk with your kids or someone special. There are small bridges and some areas to explore that make it exciting. It gives you plenty of privacy from the streets around the park, while still giving you a safe clean park to enjoy.
