I just celebrated my 40th Birthday Party there on Saturday (29th). When I say that it was LIT...PLEASE BELIEVE ME!! Daverns Tavern was great! The staff and customers were friendly, funny and caring ! They met ALL OF MY NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS!! Thank you to Joe, Liz and thee entire staff!!

We arrived at this place for dinner. we heard about this place from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

This was my first time here for my uncles birthday party along with the bears game. We were able to reserve the back room which was set up for us before we got there! (I was shocked that this was an option at a pub bar on a bears game day). We were greeted at the door personally by the owner! It was FREE food the entire time (not just for us, everyone) which I have never seen before! The bartenders were super friendly, checked on us more than enough times to make sure we were all having a great time, the owner of the bar was a very nice guy who was present at all times helping out the bartenders and guest! I watched him cater to people, cool the food, clean up after and still managed to check on every person in that bar. I’ve never been to such a welcoming bar in my life. It’s very “homie” and I highly highly recommend it! Great job you guys are doing! A big thank you to all of you guys who made my uncles night better than we even expected!

Wonderful place....I DJ there last Saturday for a private event and had a blast...the staff was wonderful the front part of the bar was wonderful as well.....the whole place is wonderful and very welcoming...Ill definitely go back to enjoy the place even if im not spinning .....

I highly recommend having your parties at Davern’s. Joe Davern and his staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need and to make sure everyone is happy. The room always looks nice and clean and they always set the room up exactly how you want it. I’ve had 4 parties here so far and I’m never dissatisfied or disappointed. Keep up the good work guys!

Daverns is great! Affordable drinks. Live music. Warm delicious snacks/pizza. The owner is super cool and welcoming. Where can you go wrong? Only warning: there are police everywhere near Daverns. Be safe.

Your service is great but lack of particular types of alcohol is why I didnt rate higher. Your establishment is nice I am just used to a larger variety of whiskeys and tequila.

There was a event and Joe had his bikers and I had mine. A incidentOccurred and I had no problems with the taverns nor did my bikers. I was then refused service.Joe said that I was talking to other people when I was only talking to my people. Joe obviously has a problem with me and my bikers.Joe is not professional. One of my family members had once went to school with him and didnt like him, I once went to school with Joes kids and Joe SR. Has had beef tolds me and my family ever since.Joe s way of Negotiation is by Refusing people service and banding them which is unprofessional.Joe is Not Professional nor is He Willing to be a professional by talking respectfully and nor is he willing to SIT DOWN AND MAKE PEACE.He knows that both he has a business and so do I. He knows that I am professional and I defuse problems and dont go off of hear say nor do I band people which is the last thing I need nor want to do.

It was our first time here . We came to celebrate my sisters and our best friend birthday, we had an amazing time the bartender were great the drinks are the best, the music amazing place will definitely be back and % recommended for anyone

This is your typical small town bar its a good time.

The space was nice but we were there to see bad medicine and the show was supposed to start at 8pm and didnt start till after 10pm because of the Blackhawks game and then technical difficulty. There were many upset patrons. Once the show finally started it was good. We had a group of people with us and because of the wait half of our group left before the band was even able to start.

Great neighborhood bar. The owner goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels welcome hes often seen on both sides of the bar talking with his customers.Known for holding multiple events and functions. Theres also a great party room in the back that you can rent for no charge.

Its always a very good time here. From a typical night out to an event youre hosting theyve got you covered and then some. Management and staff are outstanding. I always feel welcomed and Im happy to invite friends and family here knowing theyll have a great experience too.

I had a great experience at Daverns Tavern, the drinks were perfect as well as the bartenders. They have Fasanos pizza now which is very convenient and the bar atmosphere was really great.

On Sunday, Oct 8th, 2017 I had my baby shower here. The planning experience was easy and straight forward. The staff was amazing at getting the tables and chairs set up before we arrived to decorate. We wanted a chill and relaxed environment for our baby shower and this was the PERFECT place for that. The back space was large enough for our party of around 45 people. My guests loved the fact that they could grab an adult beverage for a great price. I will definitely have other events here. Thank you guys so much for such a great experience at a great price!

I Had a party there over the weekend for my son. The owner Joe was super attentive and worked with us all the way through. The bartenders were all so friendly and helpful. The drink prices were very reasonable. They let us come early and decorate and set up the tables the way we wanted them and were easy going with Wall Decore ect. I would have another party there and will recommend to family and friends .

My first time at Davern’s was this past summer. I walked in and immediately felt like a regular. The staff here genuinely appreciates their customers, and you can tell the appreciation comes all the way from the top. They always seem to be improving the place, adding something here or there, and all based on the feedback of customers. I love the vibe here, and really love supporting a local business. Hoping this place lasts for years to come.

Love this bar. Ive been a few times and have always had a great time. Drinks are cheap, service is friendly, and the live music for open-mic nights is phenomenal. Cant wait to go back!

Family owned and loved. You totally feel the Daverns family love every time you enter this fine establishment. A lot of time they have free food spreads out. Nothing but fun when you are hanging out at Daverns. They have awesome drink deals, great music and DJs playing different music all the time. Awesome times especially during Hawks games. You also can play the slots here and have fun gambling!

Out of town recommended. Visiting from St Louis, we were happy to find a place to make you feel at home. Better than a dive bar any day. I had the Davern Decker which comes recommended by myself and staff.

The best part of the bar is the people working it. As a family run business, each member of the Davern clan greets and invites you with open arms to their awesome establishment. I dont use the word awesome lightly as they offer great drink deals along with a host of my favorite lawn games (Bocce Ball, Bags, and Beer Frisbee). If youre in the area, youd be doing yourself a disservice by not stopping by.
