Great area for children to play. Lots of area to practice basketball, football and baseball drills. Store nearby to refresh after vigorous activity.

Lovely little park with the Kansas State Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Clean, well landscaped, a band shell, restrooms, some nice surprises.

This is probably the nicest park around. No playground but lots of military memorials, a bandstand, restrooms, and paths. In the summer its a nice place for a picnic or the occasional festival.

Nice place to stroll in the middle of Junction City. Not conveniently located to hotels or restaurants by foot, but just a couple minutes by car from I70. Lots of community events and free concerts are held here.

Its a great place to take the kids or adults alike and go for a short stroll. Some military and police history is also observed here in this park.

Best Pokemon Go stops in town. Plus the heritage.

Great place for solitude and peace. Nice to just come sit down on the benches.

Good place to spend free time. They have a place to walk around, benches to sit at, a stage to play on, a water fountain, rest rooms, 3 pokestops at location and 2 Gyms just across the street from it. If you are a jogger, writer or a pokemon go player this is a heaven for you. The nice trees and flowers are just a bonus.

Upon visiting ths central park I have noticed poor care of the foliage stationed as steadmarks intended to enhance the attraction of civilians. I feel there may be much more work invested by the city maintainence within this communal sharings. I would enjoy to see sunflowers included within this historical heart of Junction City

So this place is kinda ok. Little dinky and could use some sprucing up. Theres some cool monuments but overall its just good for walking around.

Visited for Sundown Salute Celebration, it was a great event with lots of rides, food, and space. Didnt feel crowded and people were incredibly nice. Wonderful event and town!

A beautiful park with the prettiest flowers in the heart of Junction City, Kansas! Must see for out of town visitors and a great place to stroll anytime for locals!

Clean and open perfect spot for a road stop.

It is the perfect place to gather for remembrance. Had the years festival on the Sundown Salute, had a great time with my little one.

We went for 4th of July festivities. My family enjoyed the music and rides. The food was really good.

Nice park with Seasonal events. Upkeep is excellent and the park is very safe and clean.

I love Heritage Park for walking and examining the many Memorials, which I do when I walk there

It depends on what you are looking for in a park. This one is more of a memorial with some gardening. As well as a small stage and enough seating for a small audience with bathrooms and a water fountain.. It is a calming place to be around.

Its a nice quiet place that you can go to sit and relax. It has beautiful scenery with a pond.

Very small area with only a few monuments. Takes 10 mins or less to walk through and read everything.

They always put on an amazing 4th of July celebration, with free concerts for all. They also have a huge parade, carnival, and lots of food vendors along with many other vendors.

They are really keeping it up.

Went for sundown salute. As always, it is awesome. Great vendors and food. Expensive, but thats expected. The city crew did an outstanding job with keeping the park clean. Big kudos to those guys!

Nice little, quiet park in Junction City.

Hot hot and hot. Almost all the vendors sold the same food and there werent as many as they used to have. Very dissatisfied. Also there were only a hand full of other vendors that had all kinds of neet stuff to look at and buy.. I havent been there for about 5-6yrs and it will probably be that long before I go back again. Sorry wasnt as fun as it used to be.

Its always kept clean theres always family oriented celebrations going on there its a great place to visit

Its used for events like the carnival so day to day its pretty plain but they host some really fun events in the summer

Group place that honors our fallen soldiers of our past Wars. Great place for family and friends to go and just be enjoying the outdoors in the city

Small park but quite not a while lot of trees so it might be hard during events to find shade.

The apple tree and walnut tree are well maintained, concert are often held.

Great piece of history for the city of Junction City. Plenty of space to walk, jog, read a book, rest, and/or hold special events. Also a designated Pokéstop for those who play Pokémon Go.

Its not really a park. It has a war monument there of soldiers that have lost there lives in the different wars. There is a small walking trail around it but its not for jogging.
