This was my first time to hunt ducks in Arkansas and it was a great experience. The lodge was very nice with lots of space and real comfortable. Spencer was extremely nice and friendly. Several times a day he will approach you and ask if everything is ok, and ask if there is anything he can do for you.Our Guide was Jody Cooper and i would highly recommend him to anyone. This guy knows how to use a duck call and if the ducks are flying close by he will work them right in front of you. Jody would drive us to the blind and we step right off the side by side and into the blind. Then he would drive the side by side a thousand feet or more away and walk back. I have to mention his dog Jewel. Watching her retrieve is as fun as the duck hunting.The cooks did a great job preparing meals and the food was great. They keep plenty of snacks so that you do not get hungry. The only recommendation i could make is maybe a hot breakfast.Thank you Spencer, and Jody for the great experience. We will be back!

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about Duxmen Outfitters. Zach and Spencer have an outstanding camp that feels like home and are constantly making sure everything is going good and genuinely want their hunters to have a great time both in the blind and at camp. As soon as you meet them, they feel like old friends.They spend every afternoon scouting for the next morning and do everything within their power to put their guest on birds. They make sure to not overbook so the lodge isnt overcrowded, you only hunt with your group, and the holes arent pressured. I have been the past two years and see myself booking a trip with these guys every year as long as they are in business.

Our trip was awesome! We did 2 hunts and both were great! Our guide, Daniel, was very experienced and did an amazing job calling the ducks in. The lodge was very comfortable and the food was excellent! Everybody there was friendly and welcoming. We will be back for sure! I highly recommend the Duxmen Outfitters!

If you’re trying to decide between the many outfitters to use for your next hunt, look no further! Duxmen provided an excellent overall trip for our group. The amenities were very nice and comfortable. The food was excellent. The guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They have a variety of blind options to choose from. The service was outstanding. We had to walk a total of 15 feet from the side by side to our blind. They called the ducks right in and had birds all over us the whole morning. I highly recommend Duxmen to anyone looking to book their next hunt!

One of the best hunts Ive been on! This is my second year with these guys, and still no disappointment. The lodge is awsome, food was amazing, and the owners/guides were not only professional but friendlier then you could ask for. You can tell its more then a business for them. They make you feel like a part of the family down there. When the ducks are flying the guides are on point, and do everything possible to get them in your face. When the ducks arent flying, you dont even notice because you cant stop laughing and cutting up in the pit. Anyone wanting to go on a guided Arkansas duck hunt can stop the search right here. Duxmen outfitters is the way to go. And did I mention the food is outstanding?

Me and my husband done a one day hunt with the lodging included. It was a great first duck hunt for me and first guided hunt for my husband and a lot of memories was made. Duxmen outfitters are some of the best outfitters period. Our group has been going for 7 years straight, and this year was the best yet. Killer new timber blind. Massive game room at the lodge.

These guys are 100% professionals. It is obvious they love their work. My group was very impressed . There is alot of ducks to be had around that place and we cant wait to get back.

First was needless to say terrible with duxmen outfitters. We payed for an annual lease with a pit in the rice field. We were around 200-250 yards from the lodge and to my concern someone decided to start shooting clays on opening day. Very unprofessional group and did not have any concern about how our hunt went or if we had anymore questions. Our pit was approximately 150 yards from the road. Very unhappy and disappointed with the outcome of last season. I understand it was a bad year but to pay the amount we did for 2 birds is unheard of. I hope no one else will waste their time and money

If you are looking for a great experience duck hunting experience, call Duxmen! They catered to us for three days. Guides were always at the lodge to answer all questions and help out.

Can’t say enough good things about Duxmen. Zach is an awesome guide and was great to work with. He and Spencer have great/friendly Guides that do everything they can to put you on birds. The lodge was very nice and very clean with plenty of room for everyone staying there. Great amenities and unbelievable food! Didn’t kill as many as we hoped but that has everything to do with the challenging 18-19 season and NOTHING to do with the effort and work of Duxmen Outfitters. This was my first guided hunt and I couldn’t have asked for better and already plan to book for next season and many more after that!

HAD TO FIGHT WITH ZACH THROUGH THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY FOR 6 MONTHS TO GET OUR MONEY BACK AFTER HE LIED TO US AND THE CREDIT CARD PEOPLE MULTIPLE TIMES. WASTE OF A TRIP AND $$$$.The lodge is nice, but you can tell theyre simply arrogant pretty-boys looking for your money.Had a two day self-guided hunt planned back in January. A few days before, I called to see what their situation was with Ice since it had been cold. Zach told me they had multiple fields open with ice eaters running, would have open water no problem. Showed up, he made us pay cash before we even saw the field. He wouldnt take check or credit card. Gave us directions to two fields, said you should be able to break through the ice at both. I dont have a problem breaking ice, but at least tell me ahead of time so i can bring enough gear to break ice. Both fields were 6 plus, with all the decoys frozen in the ice. Looked absolutely horrible, was just sloppy on their part. Couldnt get the ice to start cracking, so we decided to just go home with no way to break ice, and he assured me he would refund our deposit (credit card charge from 6 months prior). He made himself unavailable to refund the 50% cash we paid earlier that day. After 6 months of fighting with disputes through the credit card company, I luckily saved our text messages and was able to prove he lied in his dispute letter to the credit card company. Finally it appears were in the clear, with our 50% deposit refunded but lost the 50% in cash.

Last year we paid for the pit located in front of the lodge and needless to say it was the worst experience of duck hunting I have ever had. The guy we paid for the pit was rude and wouldn’t even explain to us where the pit was and didn’t push down any rice in front of the pit. We have 8 dozen decoys sitting in the rice that you couldn’t even see because they didn’t push the rice down and the pit was located about 150 yards from the road which is god awful and not to mention opening day of season they were shooting clays at the lodge which was 200 yards away from the pit. So save the money and don’t go for the pit in front of the lodge on the other side of the creek or else you will overpay and kill two birds like we did with five guys.

Amazing hunting experience and insane amount of birds. Helpful guides and genuinely great guys with passion for the hunt and your user experience. Great blinds and locations for variety of hunting.One cannot guarantee birds or weather, thus they call it hunting. This crew made each hunt memorable as some days the birds were less cooperative. Ive never left a negative review about any business before but I believe I have a responsibility to share my experience with these guys. I will admit their staff is friendly and the lodge is awesome... but these guys are simply in it for the money and could care less whether or not you have a successful hunt. I drove 600 miles with my two boys, daughter, and some friends (7 total) for a 2 day hunt with Duxmen... we only saw 2 birds on day one and 1 bird on day two!! Pathetic at best. Owner told us day before our hunt we are murdering them man! Then told us we will stay all day until you guys get a decent amount of birds... they put us in the blind at noon and pulled us out at 4pm both days, only seeing 3 birds total in two days! Ive been on a lot of charters all over the southeast but this was by far the most disappointing guided trip ever.. owner (Zach) was not willing to offer any kind of partial refund, discounted return trip, reschedule... nothing. Basically they took our money ($3500+) and said oh well, thats hunting man. Very amateurish and unprofessional in how they treated our group... I recommend you do your research first before booking with Duxmen, there are plenty of other professional guides in the area that will NOT treat you like a paycheck and WILL go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. We have gone 5 times with DUXMEN and going again after Christmas. The guides work/scout hard to do everything possible for your hunt to succeed. We always get birds and typically large numbers. The food is outstanding and nice lodge to hang in. I would not consider another outfitter and have hunted Arkansas/Mississippi Waterfowl for 20 plus years.

We just completed our 5th year going to duxmen outfitters. The lodge is great as well as the staff. The guides really put forth effort into making your hunt enjoyable and successful. We will be returning next year no doubt.

We take multiple guided trips per year fishing to hinting as have for many years with my boys. This is the first bad experience we have ever encountered. We were truly treated as a transaction. We were lied to and deceived in regards to the weather conditions. We verified before we left all the way till the night we payed and the owners were adimamnt they were shooting hundreds of birds per day. Needless to say there were no birds. The fields were not prepared as we had to help set up decoys and had to help break the froze over ponds. Absolutely would advise others to do more research and look at alternate guides. Very unprofessional post hunt attitudes as well.
