Very cool ballpark. And in COVID times, theyre doing a great job keeping distances. Food by phone, even! Worth your minutes.....

Our grandsons tournament was held there. It was nice even with the virus. It was good to see him play. The field is very nice and it is a huge stadium. I wish we can have all his games there.

Family pack is 4 people, $50 for tickets, hotdog each person and a soda or get a box for $35 p/person includes ticket price and pizza, pulled pork or hotdog with chips or macaroni salad. Food is great, view is nice! Weve enjoyed this park for many years and this year is no exception.

Beautiful and clean facility. Right across the street from the Amtrak station, and Harrahs Hotel is just a few blocks away. All seats have a great view of the field.

Nice location with easy-to-find parking. Laid back atmosphere with great prices on beer and friendly customer service. However, the glorification of prison is silly. Everything is prison themed from the team’s mascot to the gift shop being called the “clinker.” I’m not from around the area, so when I heard the team name “Joliet Slammers,” I thought of slamming a ball, not prison. It’s just odd for a place so family oriented to be so focused on prison— even the team players introductions have them opening a jail cell!

I like the stadium, buying tickets was easy, we did the BBQ combo deal. Food was actually really good. And you save over buying food at the concession stands. We did get rained out but you save the ticket and they give you tickets to another game. Sweet! Staff was all very friendly, it was a good time even with the rain out. O, FREE parking...like free....amazing.

Always fun to go to the ball park. Beautiful stadium. We were in a skybox. It was vendor appreciation night. The food was mediocre at best. Seemed poorly planned for such a big event, but were made the best of it and still enjoyed ourselves.

Great place to bring the family.

As someone with distain for the prison industrial complex, Im not really a fan of the namesake. Im sure theres some great local legends of the ominous looking Joliet Correctional Center, visible just beyond the outfield fence, but Id rather get my fill of Americas greatest pastime without a reminder of Americas greatest problem.With that said, everyone working the stadium was very kind and welcoming and its a nice facility. You can take the Metra from downtown directly to this stadium, easypeasy. Keep an eye out for deals and special days: we went here on $2 tickets, had awesome seats, and got to see a sweet fireworks show after the game.Also shout out to Cards Against Humanity for (unofficially?) naming this place Cards Against Humanity Baseball Place, it was a name just barely funny enough to get me to check out a game.

The Slammers put on a GREAT show at a fraction of the price of an MLB game

Slammers games are affordable, easy to get to by car or Metra and a lot of fun for the whole family. Contests and entertainment between innings, prizes, beer specials when the Slammers reach a goal or do something special that game and the ability to interact with the players before and after the game. Great place, love taking the kids here!

These games are really well done. It also helps how competitive the team is. The ball park is set up well for kids. The lawn is large and a great place to catch foul balls. They have a park set up in left field that kids can play on during the game. Also a nice feature is the safety net set up all the down to the dugouts. Lastly the food and drink prices are over priced ball park rates, but they are reasonable for sporting events.

Love a local minor league team at its best. Getting in for less than 12 dollars a ticket and free parking. Its bests a MLB game for a family of 4 it can get quite expensive. Joliet Slammers rock. Fun for the whole family!

Nothing too special about this stadium. Street parking or in parking lots of local businesses. Not a lot of choices for food, especially for small children. Its just ok, but very affordable so that was good.

The ballpark is beautiful! Very relaxing atmosphere.

I went there to celebrate stroke awareness day. Everyone including the baseball players were extremely nice and accommodating, especially to all of the stroke survivors. A lot of the staff was young but never the less very respectful and glad to assist in any way possible. The prices are reasonable and it is definitely a family friendly environment.

I was there for a 17u fall ball baseball tournament. Although the stadium was not completely operational because the team that usually plays there was not playing, the stadium was still in good order. The restrooms and seating were clean. The view from my seat was unobstructed. I had no problem parking, but I believe that was because it was a high school baseball tournament, as opposed to the Slammers playing. My experience was so good that I may go to one of the Slammers games next season.

Was there for a 50th year celebration of the 1969 Schurz High School baseball teams State Championship. Also, state 4A semifinals. Nice stadium.

It was a lot of fun, make sure you go to the right concession stand. Was there for the grand daughter singing the national anthem.

Great facility at which to umpire

Unfortunately for me the game was rained out after we got excellent seats and the park really didnt have any accommodations to seat us until the monsoon was over and if anyone mentioned a refund or another night as it was a holiday and fireworks were expected afterward we couldnt tell because we were wet and shouldnt hear what they were saying over the pa system. But it is a beautiful place and thats a chance you take. I will go back for another try.

Went to Amazon s family picnic. Had a great time. Plenty of food and fun for everyone. The stadium staff were very nice and helpful. The stadium was well maintained. Very clean restrooms.

Go watch a game and have a dog. Itll cost you about one-fifth of what a trip to Wrigley would.

The park is nice, but the concessions are lacking. Prices are somewhat high and some simple, yet common, items are missing like nachos (chips with cheese). The do offer fully loaded nachos, but we didnt want all of the toppings or to spend so much.

That really a baseball fan but I really had a good time its a really nice part and the prices for concessions where more than fair and has a lot of fun

This place really has gone downhill!!! SAD!!! Glad our tickets were free!!! I would never pay to go here!!! #1 around the outside and inside the perimeter of the ball park looked terrible!!! Landscaping in really bad shape!!! I guess first impressions arent really anything for this team!!! #2 failed to find a concession stand that wasnt cash only!!! Come on. No one carries cash anymore!!! This is 2018 right??? #3 selection of food was awful!!! Nothing like looking up at a menu and seeing things crossed off!!! #4 wanted to get some Slammer gear and souvenirs for the family... Guess what...They had nothing!!! For a team possibly heading to the playoffs that is really SAD!!! #5 where did the kids playing park go??? I really hope that the city of Joliet looks to try and get another team in here!!! Because quite honestly it was a much better fan friendly place!!! When the Jack hammers played here!!! Unless something seriously changes... I wont be coming back!!! Now you know the truth why attendance is down here!!!

Went there for 1st time this past Sunday, June 8. Sat right behind Slammer dugout. It was a 14 inning game, exciting and loads of fun. We enjoyed it so much we are in the process of getting a big group together and go back again. You cant beat the price, free parking and a ball park that is simply beautiful. If you have a family, you have to take the kids there. If for no other reason than, YOU CAN AFFORD IT. The people are friendly, helpful and the little gal who works with the 2 mascots is a bundle of energy. Speaking of the mascots, J.L. Bird and Spikes, who ever is in these outfits work their butts off the whole game playing to the kids. Simply put..... a great time.

This is baseball at its finest. The venue is excellent. Well maintained, friendly, family oriented and convenient. Plenty of parking nearby. The last game we went to was a thriller. Close score, zero errors and well played by both sides. Baseball as it should be. They love fans and bringing young children is a must. This park has all the adornments of a big league venue. Great bar in left field. A real local treasure which deserves our support.

Long lines, slow service, only took cash, then the only ATM ran out of cash. Didnt honor the early bird special 29 minutes after gate opening which is why I needed more cash. Baseball was poor but I missed most of it in the long line. Much more fun at the Boomers.

I recently planned a work outing with Roy at the Joliet Slammers and not only was he extremely helpful but also very patient will all of the last minute ticket requests. The whole team had a great time and it is definitely an event well repeat.
