Staff is friendly and helpful. Lanes are well oiled and in great shape. Animated screens are entertaining.

We made an appointment for yesterday (Saturday, October 17th) for fourteen of us to bowl.The young man at the counter was very patient & considerate with our crazy bunch. Awesome job.

I always go here with my fiancé. It’s our #1 go to place for bowling in the Tri-Cities. The staff are so nice and the mini games inside is fun as well. The punching bag that scores how hard you hit is my favorite

Plenty of lanes, crowd is laid back, and its very clean. The staff, especially John Phillip, make every effort to ensure bowling is fun.

It was a fun family experience. 9.50 a person for all you can bowl in an hour. Our pin counter was off a bit in our lane. We had a great time though. Will be back again.

I havent been in this place in years. Kids looking real good. Looking forward to doing some bowling there.

First time ever in the center. Really had their safety steps in place, very impressed. Lanes were fresh, first day back open. Very friendly staff. They have been painting and cleanning up before reopening. I will defiantly go back!

Top notch local bowling alley.

I liked the way the place was laid out, the ball racks were on the front side of tables facing lanes which is convenient. Now the reason this place did not get 5 stars from me is because this was my first visit with my family and the group that came in and was in the same lane set did not show any lane courtesy to my family and I but seemed not to have a problem doing so for the next set of lanes. Also due to the speed in which they were bowling, which was causing the ball return to continuously kinda jam so to speak. The way I was taught to bowl and be courteous was definitely not the way these people were bowling which had an impact on my familys mood. But Im sure not all the people who go there act like that which is why I stated that it was the first visit.

The Host of the Special Olympics for Upper East Tennessee Area 3. There was plenty of room for all the students, and they all received recognition for competing. Volunteers from Brightstar, and Siemens were great. While Holiday Lanes made sure everything ran without issues, or problems. As for Gracie the star of the show she made a few new friends. Thank you John, and Greg.

The customer service was exceptional!!!! Five stars doesnt even touch the way we were taken care of!!! We will be back.

Great bowling alley.

Automated lane controls raise and lower bumper guards as needed by each player; extremely convenient.If you contract for an hour, the lanes shut down exactly after sixty minutes, regardless of where you are in the game. Be prepared to pay extra to finish the game you want to complete.We did not visit the restrooms (no score) or purchase any food (no score) so neither figure into the 4 Star rating given. The exterior, lobby, and upper areas need updating.The air smelled fresh and odor free which is a nice contrast to some lanes Ive played.

I like that you get two hours to play bowling

Because of the 6ft social distancing rule only every other lane was open and didnt get a chance to play at all. Which isnt their fault but still sucks.

I have grown up coming to this bowling alley. The management is nice and helpful, and we always have a great time.

We had my daughters 16th birthday party here and it was great! The pizza and cheese bread was great! The staff were so helpful and they were also very patient! She had a blast and we are so grateful they offer party packages! This one was a hit!

Unlimited bowling at night is a great deal, clean, great equipment, nice technology, good snack bar, as far as anyone who is an avid bowler goes, the lanes are quite strange as far as your ball reaction goes, the lanes seem to have an odd oil pattern for a house shot.

Holiday Lanes is my go-to for bowling. It can busy on the weekends with a long wait time, but other than that the place is great place to bowl. Plenty of lanes and food, beer even! They Always have my shoe size as well, 13s dont always come easy.

Super fun atmosphere, great food and drinks, and great deals on different days of the week! The lanes are great, and the mechanics are on point with stat tracking and fun interactive bowling score sheets, and even photo options! We will definitely be going again in the near future

We love it there. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are nice. The kids always enjoy the on screen animations with their faces superimposed. Fun stuff! The food is typical snack bar stuff - burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, nachos, etc., but good for what it is. They make the pizzas to order, which is nice, instead if getting the heat lamp specials you usually get at snack bars. All in all, very recommendable family fun.

This place is a fun place to bowl that’s if you can find an opening in there busy schedule. I have been there 10 times and every time I have been denied a lane or had to wait for 2 hours at the least. Calling ahead can help but make sure u call bright and early because they fill up almost emediatly.

An awesome, family-friendly place to go bowling. The only downside is the limited parking, but I do plan on returning frequently.

Really clean and I believe they have finally gotten all the smoke out of the building from many years of being a smoke-friendly establishment. The employees were very nice and polite. Food at the bar was decent, well, except the fake cheese on the nachos. $28 for two people to bowl an hour is pretty expensive though. Other than that, I give this place a 4 star.

A good bowling alley. The score computers are modernized with a plethora of options, but thats about it. Everything else looks exactly like I remember from bowling birthday parties in the 90s. We had fun though and I would for sure go back.

The past few weeks Ive gone every Sunday night around 9pm when they have the $1 game and shoe rental. Its really worth it and the staff is always friendly. Me and my boyfriend usually play 3 games and then play the little game machines by the exit after paying. Its a nice, cheap, even family friendly thing to do on the weekends. They do have a bar so be aware of that if you bring your kids.

Kinda expensive, but used groupon app for cheaper rate. We had a blast!

A great time with the family! A little expensive, but as bowling goes they have up-to-date lanes with current computer systems! I had no trouble with the 2 games we played and every rack was set correctly. The automatic bumpers could be set for individual players and worked as they should for each player. The restrooms & establishment was clean. There were signs and prices for everything in plain view.

Need more open bowling

This bowling alley is great if you can actually get a lane. I have tried several times to get a lane the last few months and they either have a league who has reserved it or they are cleaning their lanes. I really don’t recommend going here for a family event or outing, as there are drunks who yell foul language and inappropriate things. The owners and guys who work there aren’t very nice and they upped their prices recently which makes us not even able to bowl a few times a week like my family and I used to. 1/5 stars, due to the fact that we can’t ever bowl and it’s too expensive.

It was very busy tonight, but other than that, I had a lot of fun. The controls of the score panels are very modern and user-friendly as well.

This place is cool. I saw a guy in the parking lot with a bonafide awesome vintage bowling ball bag and now I want one. Kids love going.

I have enjoyed this place since I was a kid and used to run around it while my friends dad played in a league. New and improved now an still just as much fun!

Im driving 2 hours one way to bowl league there,,,I love it and great people

This is how valuable customers are at Holiday Lane. We decided last Thursday that we would go bowling. When we arrived they were packed hardly a place to park. Once inside they told us that they were booked up. That sucked but it was understandable so we asked if we could make a reservation for tonight. They said of course so we booked a reservation for 8:30 on New Years Eve. So tonight we arrive and we approach the counter. The gentleman working said that we could not bowl because they booked a last minute party for all 24 lanes. After discussing for a moment my husband asked for the owners contact information, Mr. Kirkpatrick. The worker told me to hang on and brought the owners son out. I made him apologize to my kids who now have nothing to do. He offered us a free pass to come back but thats not what we wanted. After a short discussion we left. Half way home we decided to go back my husband was not satisfied. He went in alone and again asked to speak to the owners son. They went into the office had a discussion and then he requested the owners phone number. He was actually there. He didnt even care to come talk to me the first time. Once he came I again explained the situation and he once again offered a free bowl. I dont want a free bowl. So when pushed on why our reservation was cancelled he blamed it on his employee. He said his employee made the mistake. Awesome leadership ability blaming your employees. After a bit more conversation we left. My husband told the gentleman working the counter that he was sorry it wasnt his fault. We are not sorry for our actions but after meeting the owner I am sorry he has to work for someone that cares so little about his staff or his customers. The owner made a short sighted decision to make a quick profit instead of caring about the long term stability of his business. We bowl there frequently, I bowled there when I was younger, and our kids would have probably bowled there when they got older. Not now, he claims to not know the party directly but integrity left this place the moment he pushed blame down so I rightfully do not believe them. While we are not going to make him rich ourselves I am hoping that are story and the other people who were being turned away at the door will voice their opinion enough that impacts the business.

It was awesome!!! A group if friends, that I went with, had a great time with my co-workers at Taco Bell for our Christmas Party.

Tech advanced bowling center with great play options. That said, they should not start your lane time until you have fully set up the computer and rolled the first ball. We lost 10 mins of lane time because it was our first time there and it takes time to enter 4 people into the computer system.Staff is friendly bit could have been more knowledgeable regarding leagues.Its the only bowling center in the area so I guess they dont have to try as hard anymore.

Reasonably priced fun for me and the kids. The kids bowl free summer event got us in the door. Its clean, the clientele is fine, and the staff is responsive.

The only reason im giving this place two stars is due to their ball return working smoothly. Im not sure why the owners feel its a good idea to charge hourly for games? If you have your own shoes, guess what?! Doesnt matter, same price!! Needless to say 1/4 way through our third game, and our timer expired. This place is stupid expensive for a bowling alley.

Probably will never return. I reserved a lane for midnight bowling and paid before i got there with a card. At 12.35 i got an emergency call about one of my family members. I was only able to play one game and they still took the full price that someone would pay if they stayed there the whole time. Im highly disappointed in this place. Guess Ill drive the extra 30 minutes to go to another bowling ally.

I really like this place. The attitudes of some of the league bowlers could be better. A couple of those fellas act like they own the place. But thats not the fault of the business. The staff is great. (I just hate going when that group is bowling.)

We went today for my husbands birthday. It was him, me and my 5 year old. My husband and son had never been before. We got there and met the worker jon Phillip which was super helpful. Especially for us definate beginners. Our lane messed up which was no problem he simply switched us over to another lane and continued our game. We were treated awesome by all staff we encountered. This was our first trip but certainly wont be our last.

A lot of family fun. A little pricey but overall a fun time.

They have a kids free for summer program its great and fun all u have to pay for is ur shoes. And u can get one for the parents or adults for 30$ for the summer it is well worth the money.

In for a weekend getaway, and we always check out HolidayLanes. As a Bowling enthusiasts, I gotta say this place is AWESOME!!! From N.C. but I love everything I Johnson City!!! Especially the bowling alley. Second to none in my opinion. Always have a GreatTime here.

Fun times!

They have a couple claw machines and similar arcade games and their food is delicious. The people are really nice. The bowling is very pricey, except on Wednesday’s and it’s $1.00 a game and $1.00 for shoes!

Really updated! Seems really clean, or atleast it was when I went. The only thing I didnt like is how expensive it is for everything there. I will definitely go back again, just not frequently!
