I was impressed when I got there. Place has a challenge course for kids to play, ofcourse with staff or parents assistance. My kis played ping pong, connect four, did the challenge and climbed a wall all in about an hour. It was perfect until the next party came in and we noticed another setting up a table with food. In about and hour things got so crowded. Our party was rushed out.

Awesome place for kids. My party enjoyed themselves so much. Many cant wait to go back. The host of our party was so sweet. Everyone was so friendly. They didnt charge for clean up or anything. Be on time lol. I was late but we still had an awesome time.

My 2 and 3.5 years old had a blast over there... I went through kidpass booking. My daughters enjoyed every minute of it...

The staff at HudsonPLAY is really friendly and helpful. Besides the obstacle course theres a climbing wall, virtual reality roller coaster, ping pong table, massage chairs, life size four in a row and other games and activities. Plenty of stuff to keep kids and adults busy! Theres a nice cafe with a good selection of food and drinks. My 1 year old really enjoyed the soft play and toys. Personally, I didnt really like the loud music blasting out of the speakers. Be aware when bringin in Groupon vouchers you have to use all PLAYpasses in 1 visit.

Pretty compact space and not so much game for small kids. It can be a event place for a group of 20 to 30 families but not more than that. Very less space for the food area in common area. No issues with the staff, they are good professionals and other services are also not bad and average.

This is a great place for the kids to spend a few hours having fun. I have a 3yo who thoroughly enjoyed the bounce house, little cars, and creative play areas of the room. He was happily entertained for the two hours we were there and couldve stayed occupied for much longer. My 11yo had fun on the obstacle course features and loved the warp wall.The place itself is much smaller than it appears online. Im not sure how long an older child or adult could stay occupied without some sort of competition going on, but my son did have fun with his friends.There is a small cafe there but it only serves bagel type foods and smoothies. I was a little disappointed by the food options, especially since the place is focused predominantly on kids.The entrance is nice in that you need to be buzzed in or out so I appreciate the added safety feature there. There is also a building lounge just up the stairs outside the entrance. The lounge offers a full wall of windows overlooking the play room so you can sit upstairs with other adults well being able to fully monitor your children at the same time.Great little place, perfect for a rainy day or a slow afternoon.

Hudson play is amazing! They are always so generous when it comes to supporting our amazing Preschool Playhouse! It is so nice to have such an awesome place for kids right here I Hudson County !!!!

Nice clean and very polite people that work there

I took my 2 year old there, thinking he was going to have lots of options for physical activity. Unfortunately, for toddlers theres only one inflatable, and a couple of little cars to ride. Theres more of pretend play activities for this age group. Theres more obstacles and physical activities for older children... not many thouh.

I have two boys, 2 1/2 and 11. Both had an absolutely wonderful time. We were there for like 3 hours because they couldnt get enough. Staff were super friendly and the facility was clean and clearly organized. Best way to spend a Saturday morning!

They are amazing. My son had his 6th birthday there and it was perfect. They went above and beyond to make my son feel special. Everyone had a great time. This place is clean, friendly staff and fairly priced.

Cute place for the kids to come and play. Theres no parking lot but its easy to find street parking. No outside food is allowed but they do have a nice cafe with healthy snack for purchase. Bathrooms are nice clean. The only thing I would say is, the area where you hang up your coat or put your stroller is really tight but its manageable I guess.

The manager went out of her way to accommodate us. We visited HudsonPlay with children ages 1-12 and everyone was happy.The staff is glad to help and will actively work to keep the kids entertained. (I believe this filters down from the management)We found the toddler play area to be clean and well stocked with new toys.All in all, a great place to spend time indoors.

It was a very good experience to visit Hudson Play on a rainy day. My daughter and her friends had fun. They are 7 years old. The only thing I didnt like Its virtual reality ride. You need to pay $5 for it. Plus you come to this place to exercise not to play video games.I like that they have plenty board games to play with when kids need a break.

We celebrated birthday party here and totally loved it the whole arrangement was very smooth, need not had to bother for single thing.kudos to the whole team!! I would recommend this ( but only for children under 12~13)

Great place! The staff is VERY friendly/helpful & enthusiastic. They made sure my nieces were safe on the course. The virtual reality coaster was so much fun. I will be coming back soon! My nieces loved it & the smoothies are incredible! 5 star place indeed!

This place is fantastic. Was visiting family in NY/NJ. My son was driving us crazy. Jumped on the Google machine and found Hudson Play. He had a blast and my wife and I had fun playing ping pong and air hockey. Will definitely be back when we come to town! Thanks!

Nice staff. but they need more sensory options for the infant and toddler section. A lot of materials look worn out. They also need to regulate the baby area more. Far too many big kids going in and playing around babies.

Great place for kids of all ages to do something active on days when going outside doesnt work. Also great for birthday parties

I had a birthday party for my two boys here two years in the row! The staff is super helpful and offered assistance throughout the event. The kids had a blast. Nothing made me happier than watching them with all their friends climbing, jumping, running and just being silly while the parents could relax and sit back :) Good time was had by all! I love this place!

This is my second time here and I love it. The owner is so, so nice and helpful as are her staff. The facility is clean and there are nice snacks in the cafe. Last time I came I played with the kids but this time I really needed to get some work done, and boy oh boy, it was great to be able to do that and know theyre getting exercise as well as to be able to easily see them. Its a rainy Friday afternoon and it isnt crowded and theyre having a blast. Highly recommend!

Nice place to play... If you are a kid....

One of the people started to make kids cry and the Vr roller-coaster wasnt as fun as I anticipated. Overall not very good for people in general. 0/10 never want to go here again.

Took my son and his friends here today and they loved it! The workers were extremely nice and very great with kids, they made sure that the boys had a lot of fun and that they were safe. A little girl fell and I saw a staff member immediately run to her aid to check her and gave her an ice pack, that really made me feel that the boys would be safe if I left them alone to go to the cafe which has a variety of nutritional snacks that the boys and I loved. I would recommend this place! Definitely giving them 5 stars!

I enjoyed this place very much. The America Ninja workout was such fun, although I need more upper body strength lol. Coach Ace was very outgoing and very fun! definitely would go back.

Awesome staff, food is expensive but good

The virtual coaster was not working and the manager refused to credit/refund us for the two tickets we purchased. The staff was friendly and helpful but lacked enthusiasm which is a direct reflection of the manager that was on duty this past Sunday. I had a great experience during a previous visit there earlier this year.

Its just about ok. For the price the things to do are limited..unless you follow American Ninja warrior avoid

My kid had a ton of fun, everything was very clean, employees helped guide my 2 kids and made them feel like a real American Ninja Warrior. I really appreciated Coach Axell’s help, he was very kind. I’m definitely coming back!

Really fun place with a kids ninja course and warped wall. It can be a little chaotic when birthday parties are happening. Some of the elements on the course need assistance from adults to reach.

My son and his little friends absolutely love this place. We celebrated his 3rd bday here and the children ages 9 months to 5 years did not want to leave. Great fun, clean and safe place for children.

Great for having familiy time with kids of different ages. Also, inside there are a healthy cafe where parents or caregivers can play board games with their kids.

Nice to keep kids amused when its too cold for playgrounds. Some toys broken, probably gets busy but great in the mornings when its empty.

Great place for kids to blow off steam. The staff is very friendly and promote confidence in the kids regardless the skill level. I suggest using Kidpass first and then decide if you want to get a membership. The only drawback is that its a bit far from public transportation. If you have a car, youre golden.

Overall good but small space with all. Same place for all age groups, birthday celebrations etc. May be due to weekend visit, it was crowded

Nice place for kids to have some physical activity

I had a great time at Hudson Play. I took a small group of athletic adults and had an amazing time going through the course. It was challenging and the owner and staff were so helpful in guiding us through the course and even creating new obstacles for us. So much fun!

We come for birthdays and stuff. Kids love it, the obstacle course / ninja training course is awesome. Adults can get some serious action too if you ask the attendants.

Hudson Play is a great play space for all ages. My husband and two sons (3 &4) had a blast running the obstacle course as well as playing with the over sized blue building blocks and other games. The staff is extremely friendly and healthful. The space its self is very clean and inviting with a lovely cafe. We definitely will be back.

Fun place for kids

A really fun place. Staffs members are all on point, safety is their number one priority. You can bring one child in and the staff members will make sure to entertain them until parents are ready to leave. My daughter was exhausted! Love this place. We will definitely return. :)

Fun for the whole family! Clean and cool environment - great staff, I love the way they interact with the kids. Fantastic floor plan, if you have more than one child you can entertain one while still keeping an eye out on the other one!

My 3 year old loved it. the staff were very friendly and helpful. 15 bucks for the weekday entry. Couldnt ask for more on a 15℃ winter evening with a bored child.

It was a magical experience that I would share with my friends. I would most definitely come back again with more people to better enjoy the experience.

We held my sons 2nd birthday party here and the staff was extremely attentive and created fun activities, even a mini ninja course, to stimulate the kids. No one wanted to go home! Overall, great experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a party venue.

They told me to take down a review just cause I wrote a review saying this place wasn’t what I expected and it’s best for toddlers also they forced me to take it down. The review I made before said that it reminded my veteran father about Vietnam war because of the obstacle course but just because it was hurting their reputation because it was a 2 star. It happened on the day of this post. The employee were also rude forcing me to take it down. Bounce U is better.

Good place to take your kids - activities and soace are limited so wont spend more than a couple of hours there. If youre driving, you mY need extra time e to find street parking.

A unique and exciting play space! We had a wonderful ninja warrior party for my daughters 9th birthday. The kids LOVED the ninja warrior course - similar concept to the show on TV. The pictures on their site dont do it justice. It may appear like a small setup but its actually fairly extensive. You wind around the course, up and down the lanes with challenging and fun obstacles. When you want a break, there are two rock walls that anyone can do and you race your friends against the clock. The warp wall is fun too. Kids run up and attach suction cup markers to see who can run up the highest. You dont actually pull yourself up to the top like on the TV show but fun nonetheless.The associates were super friendly and helped the kids throughout the day. The manager was great too. He ordered us delicious pizza from Carmines. Kids ate in the relaxing cafe space, then jumped right back into action. I was skeptical that the kids would stay focused for 2 hours but it worked out perfectly. Highly recommend this clean and spacious place for a birthday or just friends (kids AND adults) looking for a highly engaging activity.

A different kind of play for kids. Better than the other places out there. Rock climbing, books, games, mazes, obstacle courses and more. Better option for your loved ones.

Came here today for the first time with my 3 kids ages 2,6 and 10 and they did not want to leave. I love how Hudson play accommodates all ages. The place is also very clean! I saw the staff members making sure the toys were picked up from the floor, I also saw them checking the bathrooms making sure everything was clean and filled with tissue and soap. I am for sure coming back! I was considering a chucky cheese birthday party for my oldest son but after coming here he now wants me to throw his party at Hudson play, I will for sure throw it at Hudson play. The party room looks very nice. Also the chocolate croissant and coffee I had was amazing! My kiddos loved the snacks in the café also.

Love this place the staff here ate awesome and great with kids. We had our baby girl birthday here and she loved every minute of it.

Loved how attentive and helpful the staff was positive attitudes. This place is wonderful for promoting physical and developmental growth in your child(ren) within a safe area padding equipment so kids can be kids jump climb. The soft play portion was below my expectation was a little disappointing but the regular play pass is the one to select nice that they offer sibling discount. However parking can also be a pain since its street parking. Basically would return again decent pricing for the 2 hours of fun you get food prices not so much little overpriced bring your own water/juice/snack.

This place is really really small. My son is five and was bored right after the obstacle course and virtual reality. There is not enough to do for older children to keep them occupied for 90 minutes. Will not be going again.

We LOVE this place. My son (7 yrs) and all his friends love doing the obstacle course. The food is OK. Would like to see more items with less sugar, but its better than every other kids play place on earth. The only reason Hudson PLAY doesnt get 5 stars is that its too expensive to go very often. At $25-30/visit per person it adds up pretty quick.

Good food options inside at the cafe. Play area for under twos and larger space for all ages. The obstacle course is big and great for older kids.

Lots of challenging obstical courses. Great for my 7 and 9 year old. Also good for adults if i were so inclined! The owner is personable and friendly. Always hours of fun. Highly reccomend for children of any age...they have a toddler area with awesome building toys. Thanks Hudson Play for lots of hours of fun for my kids and computer work catch up time for me!

My summer camp had a field trip there an I had so much fun, they even let us do the VR for free!

Very nice place for the kids to get a lot of exercise. Aside from the VR experience (which I think isnt worth it at all), its a great place for birthday parties. Definitely recommend if you live not far from downtown Jersey City.

So FUN! Went with a group of 18 kids ages 3-16 and they had an absolute blast with all that Hudson PLAY has to offer. They rotated through the ninja warrior course, climbing wall, warped wall and then played all the games they have (ping pong, badminton, foosball, etc.). The owners and staff were great with the kids, helping, coaching and encouraging them along. We will definitely be back!

We love this place! Unlike any other, and perfect for the ninja warrior in training...or in OUR case...the kid who aspires to do more than he is capable of...the staff was so helpful and supportive and we had an amazing time!

As clean as you can expect from a place like this, kids love it and the prices are reasonable, especially if you buy a package.

Small place, very compact. There is no activity for older folks and is just a place for entertainment for kids which they get bored after an hour or so. I prefer to go somewhere else there are water slides or a bigger place. Expensive for what it is. Lack of staff and no control over children going in/out of the place.

My friend and I made reservations on a Thursday night to take our five kids to the facility on Saturday afternoon. On Friday, My friend realized that she was not going to be able to make it for the scheduled time, and we agreed on a new time. I was not able to change the reservations online, and I called Hudson Play. The staff member, Arthur, was extremely helpful and adjusted the reservations for both of our families. When we arrived, the play area was extremely neat and well organized. There were more than an adequate number of staff members around to not only ensure the safety of the kids, but also to demonstrate how to use/advance through the obstacles on the course. Every staff member that I encountered throughout the day-whether at the front desk, in the play area or in the cafe was polite, friendly and very helpful. Our group consisted of kids aged 5-9 and they all had a great time as did the adults.I would gladly recommend this indoor playground to anyone.

My children have a wonderful time

My husband and I took my vacationing brother there for the Ninja Warriors Obstacle Course and it was fun. The course was challenging and it wasnt so busy so we pretty much got the place to ourselves when we went.

This place is the definition of boredom, the staff is horrible, they dont care or look after the kids, this place is so small aswell, dont take your kids here if they are under the age of 10, let alone take them at all, their roller coaster vr is very bad, it breaks everytime someone uses it, the headphones and the actual vr smell like moldy cheese, and the obstacle course is greasier than greasy grove, never go here

My grandson loves the place, the variety of toys entertain a very active 19 month old nicely for 2 hours.

Needs to add more engaging activities

Neat and clean place but there should be more activity. Dropoff is expensive.
