Family photos with Zai was the very best experience I could NOT have even imagined! And I’m a pretty positive person but I was concerned with what a photo shoot with 2 toddlers could be like. And she got incredible pictures!!! And great pictures IN SPITE of my 2 year old not having a great nap that day and throwing sand to cover his face within the first 30 seconds of getting together!! I was a tad worried how my boys would behave but Zai was so incredibly cool and calm about it all. And that helped set me at ease. We just had a good time together as a family and she captured SO. MANY. GOOD. Ones!!!

Zai was an incredible photographer but also great human being. She shot our engagement photos and our wedding and did a stellar job for both, we didnt know we could look so effortless and cool! She has a way of giving direction that makes you feel at ease but also know how to disappear into the background which allows you to be your true selves around each other. She captured the all of the moments in between time and allowed my husband and I to be able to see our love for each other in a way we never had before.It rained on our wedding day and our DJ got in a car accident on his way to the venue. Zai was one of the best decisions I made about my wedding, aside from my husband! Haha! Zai has the most incredible eye and honestly creates MAGIC!! When deciding on a photographer, I wanted somebody who could perfectly capture the mood and atmosphere and go beyond the typical wedding photography look. We highly recommend Zai. First off, we love our photos. I’ve delayed writing this review for a couple weeks because I couldn’t figure out how to describe how much I love the photos. I love them. She captured so many beautiful, authentic moments from the day. Zai was the BEST decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. We also had an engagement session with her and had such a great experience. The moments she captures combined with her unique approach to perspective and lighting never cease to make for incredibly special photos. The day of my wedding, Zai, (and her second shooter) were absolutely perfect. They kept checking in on how we were and how we were feeling. They were punctual, kind, kept me relaxed, even when things went astray (e.g. gracefully handled a rainy wedding day, but thats good luck, right?!), and made sure every picture that we wanted was taken (and then some). My wedding was amazing, but like most brides moved in a flash and when I saw the photos she captured it allowed me to not only relive my entire wedding, but have an album of moments that I can cherish the rest of my life. Zai is beyond gifted. My husband and I had never had good wedding pictures and for our 10th year anniversary i contacted Zai to capture some beautiful moments. She was super nice and friendly, even willing to accommodate my two wild boxer dogs. She was able to capture them running and being their true selfs. She also help us be more comfortable and relaxed during our entire shoot (i can be awkward). the images are beyond anything i ever expected, if i could wall paper my entire house with all the images we received i would. I reached out to Zai for a family shoot while we were on vacation in Jensen Beach last summer. Since my daughter was born in 2009, we have had family photos taken each year and I was interested in having a totally different location/style for this years photos. I had seen Zais work on Facebook - we share a few mutual friends - and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to hire her for this years photos.Lucky for us, the weather held out long enough for us to have our session. The photos turned out beautifully - I absolutely love them. Zai made a few directions throughout the shoot but mostly just sat back and shot the scenes as they happened which resulted in some beautiful moments that I will treasure forever. Her eye for composition + the beautiful backdrop of the beach + a moody sky made for some beautiful images.

How do we even put words together to describe how PERFECT Zai was for our wedding?! I don’t even know if it’s possible. When we first talked to Zai on the phone, she made us feel completely at ease, and the moment that we met in real life was like magic. She just instantly knew how to get us laughing and smiling and having fun while taking our engagement photos. When we got our engagement photos back, we were completely floored with how perfectly she captured us.Wedding photos are a major chore and generally, people hate the experience. I’m not kidding when I say that we had the most fun taking our wedding photos, and Zai was the main reason for that. She also caught the crazy fun we had during our reception, and it made us feel like we were still there.On top of that, we were literally just back from our honeymoon when we got ALL of our photos back. Like WHAAAAAT? We were in complete shock when we saw the link in our emails.Basically, what I’m saying is the investment is completely worth it! Yes, photography for your wedding is expensive, and it can be really tempting to go for a photographer that is on the lower end of the price scale. Weve been using Zai for years, really since she started Zaitography. I will forever regret not having her do our wedding photos (she wasnt in business way back then!), but that is my only complaint. She is professional, talented, and frankly kind of adorable. So, in short, we love her and her work.

We have used Zaitography in the past and just recently used Zai for the holiday mini session that she was offering. Zai is absolutely the BEST! I am overly obsessed with our most recent photo session with her. She captured our family so perfectly. I was worried about an 8am session with my 2 year old but she made it so fun for all of us. It had been a number of years since my husband and I had professional pictures taken. I loved the photos from a friends family session with Zai, so when the opportunity for a mini session came about, I signed us up. I cannot tell you how happy I am with our photos. She made us feel comfortable and laugh during our session, and those are the photos I cherish the most. It has been about six months since our session and looking at our photos still brings a smile to my face. I cant recommend this photographer enough.

Where do I even begin to explain how AMAZING Zai is?! First off, she is such a kind, wonderful human with a bubbly personality and unending creativity. On top of that, she responds quickly and has the patience to deal with whatever comes at her. When I contacted her for our Elopement/vow reading pics, I didn’t know where to begin with any of it- not the location, color scheme, etc- the only thing I knew for sure is that I wanted HER to capture it all and that I was going for a boho look. I had followed her for a while and loved the genuinely candid and natural pictures she took of all her clients, nose wrinkles and all. She immediately replied with the suggestion to do it at Lake Tahoe. We looked it up and were sold, and we booked her right then and there. She pretty much planned the entire thing (including engagement pics). She took the time to get to know us to plan everything and made us feel extremely comfortable; we trust her and her vision explicitly. She planned our engagement pics in a place we would have never thought of (the rooftop of a garage) and ended up loving! Don’t even get me started on our Elopement pics. She helped us plan and find everything from flights, lodging, color scheme, florist, makeup artist, calligrapher and more. Every question or concern I sent her way she replied with a solution or a reassurance. I am incredibly grateful to her for taking care of everything so we didn’t have much (if anything) to worry about . Once there, she kept us on schedule in order to capture what we planned, an Elopement on top of a waterfall at sunrise...and it was SPECTACULAR! Although, we had a slight oops (in our excitement to get there before sunrise we forgot the bouquet and didn’t notice until we were done at the waterfalls LOL), she completely made up for it by suggesting a mini shoot in the middle of the woods behind our cabin which was MAGICAL! We will be using her for years to come to capture all of our precious moments and cannot recommend her enough! We sing her praises to everyone we know, not only because of the actual finished product, but because of her work ethic and her as a person. She is an amazing person and it shows in everything she does.

In regards to her photography, Zai effortlessly captures all of the love and tenderness that two people share. Our engagement photos caught our personalities perfectly, and evoked so much emotion. Through a random acquaintance on Instagram, I stumbled on Zais page almost 2 years ago. Zaitography is truly amazing! I had been anticipating my maternity shoot for months and when I showed up for the pics I wasnt really prepared with any ideas as far as poses to do. I let Zai take over and trusted in her and boy am I glad that I did! I am beyond happy with my pictures and cant wait until our miracle girl arrives and to take newborn pics with her. She is truly one of a kind talent!!! :)

She was flexible and patient with our fussy girl, and quite honestly a baby whisperer. Addie responded so well to her and Zai knew exactly what to do when she became fussy. I dont know where to begin .. Zai is everything you could hope for in a photographer. I booked her about 14 months out from our wedding. In those 14 months she maintained effortless communication and an open mind. My husband wanted our 150 lb Great Dane in our engagement photos & she was totally okay with it. During the course of the timeline leading up to the wedding I emailed Zai A LOT. She was so gracious every time. She answered any questions or concerns I had & offered simple advice. She has incredible talent & even better heart. She was the one there for me through all the chaos leading up to the ceremony. I had the pleasure of working with Zai for my engagement shoot. As my husband and I were driving to Jensen Beach it started to drizzle. We thought, Oh its just a cloud it will pass. Once we arrived the clouds had cleared and we thought were golden! As Zai started taking pictures it started to sprinkle again, only this time, it turned to rain. She suggested to continue the shoot in the rain and it was the best idea anyone could have ever had! It was the most romantic photo shoot ever!

We were traveling to FL from out of state for a beach wedding. I found Zai through her website only a few weeks before the wedding, it was a complete shot in the dark if she would have availability at all - and miraculously she did as someone else had just canceled their session which was the DAY of our beach wedding. We were able to secure the slot. She was incredibly professional and helpful with finding ideal photography spots, incorporating some of the ideas I had and examples from past photo shoots that she had done that I mentioned I liked. She was very communicative before the wedding and the day of. She arrived early, gave us plenty of time, was very down to earth, sweet and fun to work with. It was a completely stress-free and fun photo shoot with lots of laughs! Her photos were fantastic, highlighting our family perfectly and showcasing our intimate wedding (bride, groom, brides 2 children, and grooms 2 children). She even finished putting together our Photogallery at least a week sooner than she gave for the projected timeline, and posted several fun teasers for us to see a couple of days after the wedding. I would love to use Zai again sometime if we ever have occasion to take family photos in Florida...or if she ever travels to near where we live! 5 Stars all the way!

Zai did senior portraits for my daughter and they were wonderful. The setting, the experience, and the final photos were amazing. Zais creativity and passion for making her clients happy was evident from the first moment I contacted her about the shoot. She worked with us to get the shoot scheduled at a time that would work well for everyone, she guided my daughter on the selection of what to wear, she asked my daughter about what we wanted from the shoot - in summary, she was attentive and focused on making it a great experience and a great memory. There aren’t enough amazing things to say about Zai and her work with Zaitography. One of the (many) things I LOVE about Zai, is she makes you feel comfortable. Zai created our maternity shoot 2 years ago. It was the most beautiful pictures we have ever had. To top it off, I had just met her through a mutual photo friend who offered to shoot my maternity session. He brought Zai as she knew more about maternity shooting! She was genuine and professional to the utmost fullest. She really made us look wonderful with no photoshopping. Perfect positions. Perfect capturing of sunlight at our fav place in the woods in Jupiter Farms. Her pics were real life and beautiful. All we can say it wow when we saw our photos! She didn’t even sell us anything. She is the most talented photographer I’ve ever met. Out of all my professional shoots in my lifetime, our shoot with her was our complete favorite. We had our engagement session with Zai in 2015 which had to be rescheduled twice because of bad weather in good ol south Florida. She was very patient and calmed me right from the get go. As soon as I told her I was hoping to use the pictures for my save the dates-she made every effort to get me my photos back even sooner than she thought she could! She is incredibly talented with her awesome filters and angles and made us feel so very comfortable! Our pictures came out beautiful and so natural! We wanted to hire her for our wedding too but ultimately had to go with someone else at the destination which worked out better because of the hurricanes. We are looking forward to working with her on future session for minis for the holidays and when we have babies!!! True talent! You wont be sorry if you hire Zai!

***BEWARE OF HER 5 STAR RATING!*** She was literally crying on facebook and instagram asking for 5 star reviews because someone left her a bad review for being unprofessional.The short version:Zai agreed to shoot our elopement on Dec 18 2017 in Asheville, NC. The trip ended up being way out of budget and we communicated that to our wedding planner via phone. Zai refused to come do the shoot in Miami in the courthouse instead and said she was “not willing to schedule any other dates” and we could purchase another shoot if we wished on different dates. We told her we had already requested PTO for the 18th and pleaded with her to take the photos in Miami. We were already out $600 and just wanted photos of our special day. Instead she responded two days later and said she booked another client free of charge and refunded our money. I could not find another photographer in such short notice during busy season for our actual wedding day. That being said, I cannot in good faith recommend such an unprofessional, self righteous, inflexible photographer to anyone because it truly is such a special moment that should not be taken away from anyone.Extended version:I paid for both she and the wedding planners flights for the NC engagement. The wedding planner and Zai actually asked me to book the flight for an extra night so they could take a mini vacation to Asheville. I agreed without issue because we were all going to do the shoot Monday the 18th at 6AM. After cancelling with the planner via phone, the planner sent an email to all parties involved stating the shoot was canceled. Zai wrote in an email a day or two later that she was upset that we didn’t contact her directly about it. For the record: I pay my wedding planner so she can communicate with my vendors for me… that includes the photographer. So if I tell my planner I’m cancelling the shoot, and she sends the photographer an email about it… I don’t really see the issue with that. Regardless, Zai was upset we cancelled her little vacation and said in her email“Because I set apart four days on my calendar during busy season for your complimentary elopement photography, I am not willing to set aside any other dates for a complimentary engagement session - Im sorry. I hope you can understand where Im coming from. You of course are welcome to purchase an engagement session with me at your own discretion.”What four days?! It was one day… Monday the 18th but whatever. Fine, FOUR days it is. I asked her the following not even 2 hours later:“Just to clarify, which four days are still set apart for the complimentary engagement session?”She took two days to respond, only responded after my husband sent a follow-up email, blamed us for the lack of communication and then went on to say she booked someone else. Oh and this was a week before the 18th. So of course I couldnt find another photographer in time.Zai completely lacks integrity and is self-righteous and entitled.

Zai captures beautiful natural light, and creates masterpieces! Cant wait for our next family session!

This review is waaay overdue..after working with Zai on three separate shoots, I have officially named Zaitography our family photographer!! I LOVE her aesthetic which is what initially drew me to her work, but after meeting with her, I realized I had found the total package. Her willingness to work with my ideas, but still maintain her vision/style was exactly what I was looking for. She is warm and nurturing with newborns and easy going and patient with older kids (and the Dads lol)! I really cant say enough good things about her...she goes above and beyond to please you and delivers flawless work. I am so grateful to have all my memories captured so beautifully

What an awesome experience we had with Zai! My SIL used her a few times and I saw an opportunity to do some Mommy and me pictures with my son for Mothers Day. She was absolutely incredible with my son who sometimes doesnt want to do pictures. The moment he met her, she instantly connected with him, made him comfortable and it was probably one of his most fun photography sessions. We look forward to working with Zai again; she takes beautiful quality pictures, shes fun to work with and a guaranteed great experience!

Women are the first ones to take care of others. We all seem to know this from our mothers, teachers, nurses and all the other countless lives that cross our path. When I looked up Zai and her website (recommended by a coworker) the first thing that came to mind was well. these are couples and babies so maybe this wont work. That could of ended my search and I would of never booked a session with anyone including Zai. Guess what. Just ask. I needed to do this for myself. How would I know otherwise? In a heart beat, she delivered an enthusiastic yes.Especially when she found out I was an artist and I was willing to give her creative freedom. Even more so when she heard the rest of my story.I was thrilled with the result. Great ideas and the lighting and the editing was more than I could of asked for. As well as being prompt with delivering the work right back to me.This is what a true creative person does. They observe, they ask, they watch, they listen. I also believe she enjoys every journey she embarks on as a professional. So if you are reading this review, just do it. Book a session with her no matter what the occasion! I cant say enough about my experience with Zai. I was so excited to have our first family photos done since the arrival of my daughter and the weather was not cooperating. We arrived to our site and it was rainy and humid. My husband and I contemplated rescheduling but Zai just started shooting her camera and made a bad situation into a work of art! Our pictures came out amazing and Im so happy for the rain that day because she captured it so beautifully. My girls (8 and 1yo) both loved Zai and had a great time! Not the typical sit down and look sappy pictures. Zai is able to capture the natural, special, and sweet moments between you and your family. I recommend her 100% and I cant wait for our next photo shoot!

Zaitographys work is so impressive. As a first time momma-to-be, and Zaitography Instagram and Facebook follower, I cannot wait to have Zai be the photographer for my maternity and newborn shoots! I recently relocated from New York to South Florida and am such a fan all of all of Zais work that I avidly scroll through just admiring all of the romantic couple shoots, cutest babies and the scenery and props that she incorporates so well! While I have yet to meet Zai, her kind personality and professionalism shine through in her work and I cannot wait until my belly is big enough to meet her for our first shoot together! She has a lot of return customers as I have seen many newborn to one year old and beyond shoots in her portfolio and that says a lot!! :)
