They must have upgraded this place as my experience was awesome at this theater. We went to see Maleficent and the video/sound blew me away. The staff was very nice and the popcorn was great. I would recommend this place and I am planning on going back for 22 Jump Street.
Looks to me as though the issues mentioned in the previous reviews have been addressed. Outdoor ticket line moved quickly. Concession staff was friendly and efficient.
Good, clean, quiet theater. Hardly anyone is ever there so its quick and easy to find your theater and tickets.
New digital sound and projectors! Awesome experience! I will definitely go back!
This theater has potential unfortunately there seemed to be no management there whatsoever.One: Open the ticket line outside! Its ridiculous to have to wait in the concession line to buy tickets.Two: There was a large lady in a red sweater shirt working the concession stand who was looked dirty and sweaty. To top it off, she was drinking, eating, and it looked like dipping while serving food to costumers. She also had a large canker sore (looked like herpes) that she kept touching before serving food to costumers. She never even washed her hands! We watched her do this for ten minutes. This was honestly the biggest problem I had with this theater. That is simply disgusting and unsanitary. No one wants to eat food served by an unclean woman who touches open sores on her mouth. Thats how diseases spread. Health department should really check this place out.Three: The actual screen was poor quality. There was a line that ran through the screen during the movie.
The problem I had with this theatre was the people in projector room during the movie. First off the projector seems outdated second of all the people up there kept turning on the projector room light. What this did was cast a shadow across the screen of people walking around up there.....very annoying. Update your projector and get someone up there besides teenagers unaware of what they are doing. Several people left the movie because of this. Two of which were me and my 9 year old daughter who said lets go to cinemark and see this. Her complaint was who keeps turning on that light. If its annoying to children then you know it annoying to adults as well.
Small local place not bad for being a privately owned
So...this movie theater is pretty bad, the lobby is big, spacious and clean. The seats are awesome, very comfy. But when the movie started all went down hill from there. The projector must have been an old school one because it clicked the entire movie. I wouldnt mind this usually because the movie would be loud enough to drown out background noise but the movie speakers were shot...The quality output from the projector was worth 1 star, very grainy, and spotty. I honestly wouldnt recommend anyone going to this movie theater unless you were hard up and its Wednesday ($5 movie night) or you had a Groupon. Sorry Jenks, but update your theater!
Everytime go Jenks theatre. The screen is messing up and monitor make huge loud sound. Coming a big mess between the seats. I think everyone who work there and check your job you post to do.

You have to wait at the concession stand to get tickets, but the staff are so nice. The different areas of the building are clean.
