My sister & brother in law, David & Susan Tanner had their wedding reception there yesterday. I cant say enough good things about how this event went, from the meticulous planning, organizing, setting up, cleanliness, staff help & always being accommodating, professional & courteous. There was not one flaw in the day & it was just perfect.Dawn, the coordinator that we worked w/could not have been any more accommodating or helpful then she was. She truly went above & beyond to make this reception go smooth & perfect. You can tell she really loves her job & knows what shes doing. Her assistant, Ashley did a beautiful job too, they seem to work very well together. All the staff involved was also helpful, friendly & polite.I know this is just a bowling alley, but it was perfect for the reception bc on this day you could not tell it was a bowling alley. It was held in the bar area as a private party, we supplied the centerpieces & Dawn decorated the tables as instructed & had lights turned on for the props when we arrived & it was absolutely beautiful!!! And@the end of the night, the staff had all the stuff packed up & even helped load the car. Now you cant ask for more than that!They also catered the reception & to everyones surprise it was some of the best food many guest have ever had @ a reception before. It truly was delicious & we got large helpings.These are difficult times right now w/ covid but Im telling you Dawn knows how to follow the rules & make it work & keep people happy.I strongly recommend Kingpln, if you are looking for a place to hold a reception or private party.

This is a real nice bowling alley. Its also not just a boqling alley. It has a bar, eating area and an arcade. At night, they have a glow bowl, where they turn the lights down and the music up. This is a really fun experience with a group of friends. Durimg this time They offer a deal for $30 for 1 hour for up to 6 people. Shoe rental is $4.50. It is a little pricey, but it is a very modern bowling alley for all ages

It was awesome! I enjoyed myself fully. Nice music and definitely following the guidelines of Covid-19 as well so everything is good for groups too! A little pricey but its was still amazing! 5 out 5 for me!

My group had a great experience. We went around 6 on a Saturday and it was not crowded at all. The prices were a little high here but still enjoyable.

Just want you to know about our experience at Kingpin Lanes. We went there, and the facility had spaced our groups a lane apart, so much so that we could actually enjoy playing in our lane with the kids without worrying about having our masks on. We put our masks on to go to the restroom, to move about the building, to order food, but there was no need for us to just stand in our lane and play. It was the best experience of this covid-19 weve had. Thank you, Kingpin Lanes.Also, if youre in the Kids Play Free program, its totally worth it for the adults to play, too!

Its was really fun me my brother and my dad had a blast!

We went on Friday night. Alternate lanes are closed for social distancing. We had great time and enjoyed bowling.

I had my brother’s surprise 40th birthday party in the Kings room. I was a nervous wreck about the surprise part of it. Billy showed us to the room and asked if we needed help setting up. Destiny was in charge of the catering food and kept checking to make sure that our drinks were full. Whitney was bar tending for us and kept making sure that we were doing okay. My brother had the best party and I was so impressed with how kind, friendly and accommodating the staff was to us that I had to write a review. I even stopped Dawn (who put my contract together) to tell her just how much I appreciated all of the employees that day. I will definitely think about having another party there in the future. What an absolute great place and great people.

Love this place!! Had my 30 year old daughters birthday party at Kingpin. We had great time. They supplied pizza, ice cream, plates. They also have a bowling pin for everyone to sign.

Large location. Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to customize my food according to my diet.

I celebrated my daughters birthday today and the staff especially Marissa and Olivia were fantastic with our large party we had!!! They took a lot of the stress off of me in keeping things organized. They went out of their way to find me some candles since I lost mine, gave my daughter some cookies since her cake was wrong, and even gave her chicken in place of pizza since she did not eat pizza and kept my guests in pizza and drinks. I highly recommend Kingpin for any type of party and especially the girls that helped me!! Thank you so much!!

Ive been here twice and its such a fun bowling alley/arcade! When it hits 11(I believe) the lights turn down and screens drop and start blasting music videos and its so much fun! My favorite bowling alley by far!

Newly renovated and it looks great! Kingpin lanes is your classic bowling alley. I prefer this bowling alley over the others.

Always love this place good for partiers birthdays field trips always has a wide variety games to play wonderful affordable food and has handicap access doors. An overall excellent place to spend your time with family or friends

Poor customer service. We were haggled by the staff the entire evening after an issue was brought up concerning our lanes. The issue was resolved and the staff was found at fault. As a result the staff and management was rude and aggressive. They would yell out at us and then hide behind the counter as if no one was there, they placed a staff member near us as we bowled to watch us, and glared from the cash register, accused us of not paying and then required receipts that we provided to their surprise. I was very uncomfortable the remainder of our game. The only good thing I can say is it was a very nice facility and clean. We will not come back!

Had a great time tonight! It was packed and some of the lanes were a little overbooked. So, they comped us some drinks and were very attentive. I felt like they really felt bad and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We even stayed after for the karaoke. It was a work outing, and everyone had fun! Thanks Kingpin!

My family enjoys coming here. They have various things to do other than just bowling. We like their lanes. The arcade area is spacious and fun as well

Customer service desk was completely disorganized, balls had too much wax on them, the lane approach and shoes were sticky. The game room has very little to offer to occupy time while waiting for a lane.

Great looking bowling alley... good space, well lit, cheap food, good beer and in a good location BUT.... waaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced for bowling games!!! Oh my goodness... for 4 people (1 game with shoes) its was $40! Way too much, but you are paying for the location (east end) Very nice place... very nice, but I wont be back due to prices..life already cost enough, you know?

Fun place to get together after work. Well taken care of lanes and excellent ball selection. Nice little mini lane area for a birthday party. Could offer some better deals for drink specials/happy hour. The price of a full night is the only thing dropping a star on this place.

Very clean and modern bowling alley. My only complaint would be the pricing structure for kids. $4.75 per game + $4.50 for adults seems fair but charging that same price for a toddler or even a kid under 6 or 7 seems a bit much. As an adult I may get $9.25 worth of entertainment from a single game of bowling, but a child using a ramp and bumpers isnt seeking the same thing. Id be inclined to bring my family more often if there was a friendlier pricing structure for children. I get that this is a business in a free market but little incentives for families goes a long way.

Manny at the concessions is the best! Great service with a friendly attitude. The bowling is great. Although If I had the choice of their ice cream and roadkill I would chose the roadkill any day.

This is the best bowling alley i have ever been too. the staff were so helpful and its a great place to relax. zack was really helpful and nice trying to help us with the pool balls continuously getting stuck. its a great place for parties as well!! theres 50 lanes and so theres lots of room! highly recommend!!

The facilities are very nice. The lanes and the balls that they have in house are clean and in good condition. Bowling as an activity seems to be getting more and more expensive and Kingpin is no exception. Bring a large group and grab a lane by the hour for the best deal. Also, get food at the snack bar. I think Ive ordered half the menu so far and have yet to find a thing that wasnt extremely good.

I bowl in the Sunday Night Mixed League, and one thing I can always count on is the great table service we get from Ashley.

Honestly, one of the best bowling alleys I have ever been in.

One of if not the best bowling alley in the area. They recently upgraded all thier seating to couches that are way more comfortable than the hard plastic chairs. Has a bar, arcade, plenty of lanes, and a food area.

It’s nice place, but lately they started to host many of tournaments. Twice my kids and I went there and we weren’t able to make it in because they have tournament.

Came here for a kids birthday party. It was wonderful. Great service from Kelsey. The arcade is great for children 8 and under. My son, 3 years old, absolutely loved it. I loved that its so much cheaper than Main Event and its locally owned. So many great things .

Good place..only problem is the open beer bongs. Anyone including underage can get some even if its not theirs.

Nice facility. Possibly 50 lanes (give or take a few). Decent selection for snacks, or even dinner. Nice large area for kiddos with video games. Even has 2 areas for little bowlers to bowl.

Lanes were great but couldnt get waited on in the cafe for anything. Workers walking in and out of area but only one person consistently working register. Just wanted popcorn and couldnt get it.

They sure do have terrific bands like The Killer Lips! Really enjoy hearing them and being able to watch the ball games in the hallway. Thanks Kingpin.

The new renovations look great but not set up for league bowlers, several groups that I have talked to wont be returning due to the seatingAlso the last several weeks the ac gets turned on late so it is hot and the approach is sticky because of this.

Nice place, nice lanes. A ton of lanes. However they are quite busy and sometimes there are long waits and it is expensive. Over 5 in a party and you have to rent an additional lane. Im not a expert bowler so ten pins works just fine for my family.

Best maintained lanes in Louisville. Better bowling alley food than the other real alleys. The ball returns won’t damage your balls like some places. I’m there at least twice a week. Once for a league. Often to give lessons.

The absolute worst service for food and drink. Lanes always breaking down Ive been bowling here on a league since the doors opened just keeps going down hill they need to find new management or I need to find a different place to bowl.

Super friendly staff. They dealt with all my stupid friends AND me and they did it with humor. That alone is worth noting.Its loud, there are kids running around, service at the food counter can be a drag--in other words, its a bowling alley! Old staples of 90s bowling packaged for you today in the year 2018.One thing that is noteworthy: They have beer towers.

Its a great place to get together with friends and/or family and have a wonderful time.BTW.....They have easy access for anyone who is disabled. Also, the bathrooms are handicap accessible. :-)

Arcade is perfect for smaller kids not so much for kids over 8 is say. Bowling lanes are always clean. Pizza is actually pretty good. Ive been here for a couple birthday parties also and they were pretty cool. They went into the room with the smaller lanes and bowled. It was actually a private party the whole time. Compared to most bowling parties where you get a lane and a separate room for cake. The kids got to sign a bowling pin for the birthday kid.

We bowl in a league here. The lanes are decent and the food is ok. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Everyone was super nice and the bowling was fun but the music could definitely be better! It was loud, offensive, and violent videos!

They put on us on a lane that only one bumper went on, and after they moved us to the one next to it they set the next two sets of guests right next to us, including at the lane that wasnt working right and the family had little kids. When leaving they told my husband they were leaving the other lanes (23 werent in use on our half of the place alone) open for leagues but we never saw any
