We took our entire staff here for a fun outing and it was a great time. Our group was large enough that we had to break up into different rooms and do this multiple times. Epoch was very helpful in getting this organized. The rooms were well designed and a lot fun. Definitely recommend them for a good time.

My husband and I attempted the outbreak room for our one year wedding anniversary. It was our first escape room and I was nervous going in, but the person working that day was tremendously personable and reassuring. He went over what to expect without giving any of the riddles away. The experience was fun, challenging, and exciting. We will definitely come back to try out some of the other rooms.

I have done two of their rooms. Both had great puzzle combined with inventive clues. I will gladly go back when new rooms are available.

This was our first time doing an escape room. We had a group of 8 and none of us knew what to expect. The experience was more than any of could have imagined. It was very challenging, but the worker didn’t let us suffer too long before giving us a hint to get us going again. We thought the room was very well thought out and cleverly designed. We will definitely be doing this again!

WOW! We had an awesome time. Very clean environment, helpful friendly staff and fun, challenging puzzles. The hour went by very quickly and a good time was had by all. We had a friend from Switzerland with us who has done escape rooms in Europe and he really enjoyed his experience here in Jefferson City MO.

What an amazing place! The owner is very good at what he does and making this a fun experience and environment for all ages! The rooms are challenging, but my group of 11-year-old boys were able to escape with the help of a few hints. We have gone to every room he has and then he changed them up, so we are going to do them all again! Thank you for a great birthday party!

I went with a small group of friends to this escape room. It was our first time with this type of activity, and we had a blast! We got additional clues for checking in on Facebook upon our arrival which really helped when we got stuck. All in all it was a really fin experience and we cant wait to try the harder rooms!

This was a fun event. Glad we have this venue in Jefferson City. Our team had a good time connecitng in a fun way. Just the right amount of challenge. We are looking forward to going back.

This place is amazing! They worked with me to plan an engagement at the end of the escape room. She said yes!But besides that, the room was full of interesting plot twists, seriously cool puzzles, and even some awesome mind games!I 100% recommend this place, not only because she said yes, but because it really is a well run, high quality escape room, and Ive done a lot of them! You wont be disappointed!

Epoch Escapes was fantastic! We visited “the cities best” in Denver, Colorado and it wasn’t very good at all. Our expectations were low but my son really wanted to go. It blew us away. This room doesn’t have anything in Denver! I’ll be back for sure and possibly visit the ones in Columbia soon too! Great experience for all (ages 7-65 in attendance for this visit)!

A very well run escape room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Gameplay in the room was excellent. Production values were pretty good. It was our 7th escape room and Id call it one of the better ones.

We attempted the Outbreak escape room. The room was set up well, it was a great scenario and we had a lot of fun. This was our favorite one weve tried so far.

To begin with, its $25 per hour per person. not badly price for the rooms. I booked for the outbreak room since it was for a party . Booked about 4 days before hand. No where did it say i was going to be booked with 2 people that of course was a couple. I dont know why they would think 7 people would be good for how tiny the rooms were. So i told them that we didnt really want to do the room. Instead of making the couple who was a walk in do the open room we had to do the kraken room. We booked for the put break, showed up so like?? There was no point of even booking. I was super excited for the room which is why i waited 2020 for it to come out. Im very upset and honestly it ruined my entire birthday plan. The room was too challenging for us to even to begin with. We kept having to ask for clues. Which again is why i wanted the outbreaks room

Such a fun and intense time! Not easy but made you think. There were 4 of us. Any more and we would have been in each others way, imo. The hostess was friendly and gave us a walkie talkie in case we needed help or hints but could see in the camera we were struggling with a section and gave us a hint anyways. I would recommend they clean or sanitize between visits. Idk if they do or not already but I didnt see anything saying they did and items are visibly reused. It gets pretty warm in there so use the locker for your coats. And use the bathroom before you start. Also, take time to do your escape board after. Wish we would have done a better design on our for our pics.

Was great in scheduling ahead for a Christmas party. Staff was great and we all had a wonderful time. Would recommend fun time.

The room we tried was challenging and a lot of fun. He gentleman who helped us was very nice and made sure we understood how it all worked. We even had a small hiccup during the escape but he was able to fix it and get us back on track quickly and easily. Ill definitely be back to try out the other rooms.

I really enjoyed the Framed room! It was exactly what I had dreamed an Escape Room to be!It was Expert level but our small team of 3 was able to get it done (with hints) not too long after the time limit!

I recently have bumped my rating of Epoch Escapes room up because after our experience, the gentleman that owned it emailed me and said they had fixed these items in the escape room and he was able to make us a great offer for our prior issues. I truly believe we will go back for a second room because of the willingness of the individuals to fix the issues we had with this room. Without those minor kinks I truly feel this room was enjoyable, challenging, and FUN!!! Thank you Epoch Escapes for giving amazing customer service!The room had quite a few puzzles, but it was all one room no seperate doors/hidden doors. The puzzles were pretty difficult, which is great. However, two items were faulty one dry erase board featuring some numbers and not all the information we needed was on the board, and a safe that got jammed. We also didnt know that after we entered in numbers we had to enter another button to get the safe open. We had fun because we really enjoy escape rooms, and I understand this one is new, but it definitely needed a little fine tuning.

Staff was very accommodating to our team of teachers - our schedule and number participating. Our guide did an excellent job explaining everything to staff as well as. It was a great opportunity for our teachers to work collaboratively and problem solve together.

Our team of 6 had a great time. We did the Pirate escape room and actually made it off the island with a few minutes to spare ... albeit we did receive a few clues. The props are getting a bit worn but the challenge was fun!

Today was the second time Ive done an escape room. There were 6 in our group and it really helped to have that many brains working together. Some of the group had never done an escape room but with the clear directions, they jumped right in solving clues. We did the Kraken Kwest and it was great fun. And bonus - we escaped! with 7 minutes left!

We had a wonderful time even thought the Sisters all died of the virus. What a fun way to send a few hours of our sisters weekend. Thanks for being patient with us and giving us some good clues and help. We think we might have made it out if we hadnt had a faulty lock. Got help and almost made it.

My coworkers and I went here for a fun staff day! It was such a blast working through the escape room and working as a team. We work together as a team every day, so this was a great challenge for us and a new way for us to work together! We beat the record - it was a blast!

A friend and I were here on 10/5/18. We had a pretty great time, including when we trapped ourselves and had to be rescued. The guy at the desk (the owner, I think) was really friendly and made us feel welcome. The immersion was as good as it can be, with being in a strip mall and all, and the puzzles werent impossible, but not insultingly easy, either. I would go again, and I plan to.

I really appreciate the variety of puzzles at Epoch. You never know if something is what it seems. I also appreciate that some of the puzzles have a more hands on aspect as opposed to being entirely cerebral! Cheers, Epoch!

We participated as a corporate team building experience. Communications prior to the day of our event were timely and helpful. The event itself was a huge success. Columbias Epoch Escapes is a well run, well though out escape room experience. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time at Epoch escapes. The “asylum” was well thought out, detailed and fun. I took a group of 14 and 16 year olds for a birthday bash and it was great. It was not too hard for the teens and they loved it. The staff was professional and accommodating. We will definitely be going back!

Its a great place to have fun and spend time with friends. My party and I were able to have all of our questions answered within one phone call. We even warned them we were going to be late, and they were absolutely cool with it. My party and I had a great time, and will hopefully go again soon!!!

My son had his 12th birthday at Epoch Escape and he and his 8 friends had a great time trying to escape the asylum. It was helpful to have the room afterwards for cupcakes. The attendant was really helpful and patient with the boys. They enjoyed the debriefing at the end. The event was easy to arrange and from start to finish was a fantastic experience.

We had friends in from out of town and this was a great activity for a price that was worth the memories and fun!

I was looking for a memorable experience for my grandsons, ages 9 and 13. This was definitely achieved! We all had a great time, and hope to return, when I visit them again. The staff was super friendly, courteous, helpful, and very accommodating. It was easy to find, and parking was a breeze. This was our first experience in an escape room, and we are excited to do it again!

We had a great experience here. We went there for my friends birthday. We originally scheduled for four people but had one more want to join. They were able to make the accommodations for us even tho it was last minute. Definitely going back again!

We had a big group for a bachelorette party and they were super accommodating, we were in two different rooms and they let both rooms start at the same time instead of 30 minutes to an hour apart which was really convenient. The people working there were super nice and the escape rooms were very well done! Definitely recommend.

My two girls, 10 and 11, and I had a great time in the Outbreak scenario. The room was put together very well. There puzzles were a good challenge. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

First time I had ever been to an escape room. The room that we chose was pirate themed and holy cow was it not only fun but challenging as well. We had a team of four and barely made it out in time but the puzzles and tasks were extremely well thought out, the clues were unique and thought provoking, and the back story was carefully crafted. The owner was super friendly, informative, and made everyone feel at welcome. Would recommend this to anyone!We even considered trying a second room immediately after our first but the owner told us people can feel mentally drained doing multiple rooms back to back. He could of just taken our money and watched us suffer and cry in a second room but he was honest and thats awesome. Highly recommended!

Epoch Escapes is indeed an epic escape! What a great way to spend some time with family, friends, or coworkers. We have done two of the challenges so far, and had a fantastic, fun, and successful afternoon both times! The staff is friendly, and does very well at explaining the idea and objectives. I think the right amount of gentle hints were given if we were stuck on a problem for too long. If you have never done an escape room, I ask you to take the challenge and give it a go. If you have done other escape rooms, I urge you to try Epoch Escapes!UPDATE. We have now done all three of the rooms they currently have, and we are 3 for 3! They have all been fun and challenging, and the staff great. Hope they get some new rooms soon!

A ton of fun. Did the pirate themed room. One of the mechanics didnt work entirely, but staff was there to help. Besides that everything was great. Challenging and amazing to watch unfold

The owner happened to be working when we went through the rooms. He recommended we try all 3 rooms for our groups hearty appetite. Loved the pirate room the best but both of the CSI and Outbreak rooms were challenging and fun. Not a lot of time to sit around but also not so demanding as to feel like work. Greatservice, GREAT price. Give it a try too.

We chose the team building option with Nathan and had so much fun! I cant remember the last time Ive laughed so hard. It was great bonding experience for our team. I highly recommend it for work or fun!

This place is really cool. My wife and I have done all the rooms there fun. We didnt finish all of them but it does make you want to do it again. We will definitely go back.

Out of the three rooms at CEE, I knew I wanted to try Crime Scene Investigation, as I studied it in college. I had done one escape room before I tried Epoch Escapes, so I felt I was well prepared. My team did not escape the room, but it was an absolute blast! After the game master came to get us, he told us the room we tried was the hardest one they had but we still got roughly 65% of the way done. I would really recommend Columbias Epoch Escapes for the best escape room experience in Columbia!

This was a super fun experience! We did the Outbreak room and had a blast. We managed to escape with 8 minutes left. Im not local to Columbia, but I know my friends who were said they would like to go back.

First thing, they say Epoch like Epic lol but the our gamemaster was awesome and funny and helpful. We did the asylum and instead of trying to break out, we had to find a certain object. It was pretty cool .very challenging.

It was great fun, a bit overwhelming, only because we didn’t know what to expect. I would definitely go again!

I brought a group of 16 for my birthday and the staff member was extremely easy to work with and accommodating. We had a good mix of first timers and people who had done escape rooms before and everyone agreed that it was a blast.

We had such a fun time at Epoch Escapes. The room we did was well thought out, the clues were very challenging, but not impossible, and we had a blast! We will definitely be doing it again when we are in the area.

Ive been to about a dozen escape rooms and this was one of the best. Had some very good props, fun and family-friendly atmosphere. I would definitely​ recommend this place.

We got there 15 min early as instructed. The host explained every thing we needed to know. She then escorted us to the room, gave us a walkie talkie and told us we have 3 clues and to use them wisely. I was surprised it was a real challenge, we needed the clues more than i thought. It was loads of fun. We will be back again.

Ive participated in 12 escape rooms over the last year and unfortunately Epoch Escapes is my least favorite. The rooms come across as very low budget and arent as interesting or interactive as other rooms I have been in. If you are just starting out in escape rooms, I think you will be happy with the Epoch rooms. If you have participated in many escape rooms, I think you may be disappointed in the quality of these rooms.

Ive done the Outbreak room and the CSI room and both were great!!! It was challenging and always exciting, you never knew what was going to come next. We broke out both times because we had a great team with a variety of skills. 10/10 would do again!

It is so fun. I think everyone enjoyed themselves . The clues were not easy but not hard either. SO going to do it again. Highly recommend.

Their asylum room is amazing. They not only have really clever puzzles, but they succeeded in creating a creepy ambiance that really took this escape room too the next level

Ive done all three of their current rooms: Pirate, zombie, and a CSI detective themed. All of them were fun and challenging with interesting props. I thought the CSI one was by far the hardest. Very friendly staff, challenging and fun rooms. Great thing to do if you have some time in Columbia.
