Took my 4yr old grand daughter. Although it was chilly she had a great time! Didnt want to leave. Something for all ages. Clean very nice park!
The giant zip line is awesome for 5 and ups. The playground area was very accessible with plenty of features for tots and 5-12s. Everything was clean bathrooms included. Fall colors were beautiful!
Awesome place for the kids! It has a lot of wheelchair accessible options too. It also has a stage with seating that could be used for plays or theater.
Great park for small children and disabled. Many toys are adaptive. Splash pool in the summer.
Best playground around. Plus, tennis courts, walking trails, zip line, splash pad, and shelter house.
Great memories growing up hanging out at this park . Worth checking out and hang out
Its a good place to take your kids
We love the different textures that are offered in the playground for sensory. Thanks for the inclusion:)
Always amazing. I remember playing here as a child, and I was able to take my own daughter. Still as wonderful as ever.
Possibly the best playground my kids have ever experienced.
Lots to do and plenty of places to go.
Great place to hang with family and friends. Good hills to skate on.
Love this park!!!! One of Janesville a best! Even volunteered when the rebuilding was getting done.
I was so happy to see the play equipment was open! I wish the pool was open as well. We had a great time eating our picnic and my kids loved the playground.
Nice park. Has a nice play area for the kids and pavilions to use.
Very cute big place for the kids pretty safe with supervision!
Excellent handicapped accessible playground equipment including some specifically designed for wheelchairs.
Favorite place has a kid pool and a big pool also has a zipline
The park itself (Camden) is great and offer many options for kids to play and use their imagination. This park is designed for kids up to 12. Now for the bad. Teenagers will show up to the park and push kids, bully, cuss, and treat others with disrespect. The teenagers that show up have destroyed equipment, written dirty graffiti on equipment, and have left biohazard on the equipment. Janesville parks doesnt seem to care nor do jpd.
Loved it plenty off stuf the kids to play with
Very nice pa to bring your kids.
Love it! A great park for the whole family.
Awesome place for a walk or to relax or spend with the family
Nice and always clean park. Not to many people there. It is open though as of 6/17/2020 Covid procedures are listed at entrance
Lots of rides for the kids. Clean beautiful park
Its a eally nice park. There are lots of fun things to do and my boys, ages 8 and 4, love it.
Lots to do and the kids really love it.
Need better signage for where the Ice Age Trail begins
Palmer park Beautiful pet Friendly !!! Long winding trails, open Fields playgrounds and restrooms !!! What more can I say? Did I mention the trails for walking, biking, dog walks?
Wonderful place for family fun!
Love coming here... Adults and kids alike have fun
Great playground for kids age 2 to 12. There is a small pool for little ones too, too cool off during hot summer days. The only issue were older kids/young adults from the nearby high school who like coming and playing at the playground (!?!), which sometimes poses the risk for the little ones due to the rough nature of older kids play.
Very nice park for all kinds of recreation. Dog park next door and access to Rotary Garden big pluses.
Palmer has a great pool, and many shady private areas. You can reserve a very old and very cool shelter with a fireplace. Camden playground was recently refurbished and is state of the art. A separate dog park is available. Tennis courts are in good shape.
We love this park. Very close to the interstate. Great playground for the kids. Bathrooms available. Well most likely be stopping here regularly on all our road trips past Janesville. FYI if you go after dark youll see a dozen raccoons haha they were everywhere!
I was here with my niece and nephew they love this park its their favorite in Janesville we go a lot during the summer I would definitely recommend taking your kids here they will have fun
Nice park. Was better broke the renovation. Now its geared towards under 5 wearas before any age could have fun.
Great park, it was completely renovated a few years ago, and they made everything handicap accessible. My son loves it there, we go a couple times a week. They have stuff for a variety of ages. They also have a wading pool for little kids.
My 2 year old son loves the pool and the park. He has a great time. Both are always clean and well kept which makes me feel safe to have him play around. Our favorite picnic spot for a how day.
Love this park!! I’ve been here numerous times with my granddaughter, who recently turned eight. She loves it! The wading pool is prefect for the littles and not so little. There’s always lifeguards on duty and plenty of space for parents and grandparents to watch. The concession stand offers drinks and snack at budget prices and you can always bring a cooler. The play park has been remodeled and it’s lovely. Plenty of slides and swings, not to mention a playhouse. It makes for a relaxing and fun afternoon. The pool is open till 7pm and things slow down a bit after 5, so if want some quiet time that’s when to go! Recommend highly!!
Great park!!! Its divided into a 2-5 yr old area and a 5 and up area which helps as it sure is a busy place! Wading pool is perfect for young kids (says 8 and under). A wonderful place to pass the day and have a picnic.
There are lots of fun things f both children & adults to do at this park. Camden Playground is located here, also. It was the first handicapped accessible playground created in the area, if Not the entire state of Wisconsin, etc. Hiking trails are available here, too.
Accessible playground with soft kid friendly ground. Unique playground toys and a very fun zip line! Pool/water park is for kids younger than 8 only. Good amount of shaded area.
Used to go here a lot. I went to a summer camp nearby and would go here several times over the summer. They recently made it safer which in my opinion made it a little less exciting but it is still a nice place where younger kids can have fun.
Great place to go with kids. I grew up here and has always been one of the nicest parks. Since upgrading its even better.
The playground is amazing! Huge and well built. The pool is great for little kids, but bigger kids kind of make it harder for the littles to enjoy
While this park is well-deserving of a visit solely on its own merits, it also serves the weary traveler well. Conveniently accessed from I-90, it offers plenty of shade, open space, a small but informative visitor center, and a playground for the young ones. There are very well-maintained bathrooms and plenty of seating and parking. Stay for the necessities or extend your visit with a short stroll, picnic, and break from the mezmerizing monotony of driving.
Love this park. My husband helped build a part when he was in school. I like that it is divided into bigger kids and smaller kids. Great location lots of parking.
This place is gorgeous! Such a big play area that is built like a castle and a pool for kids 8 and under to cool off! (Pool admission cost $1)
Very well thought out! Kids love it here. Large area to run, all padded ground, bunch of slides, swings and climbing areas. Plus an area only for 2 to 5 year olds. Need more parks like this! Thank you!
Amazing park structure! Splash pond is only $1 and is attended by lifeguards. A great way to spend a summer day and very budget friendly!
Pretty, quiet and clean park!
Marys. Fun park. Lots of stuff to do. Great place to take your friends or family. Pavilions are nice and spacious and with the correct papers you can drink while renting them. Been around this park forever while living in janesville. Cant go wrong with this fun spot.
My kid absolutely loves this park. There is a lot to do and a lot of places to run. It does get busy but thats to be expected considering how great it is. I also love that they have wheelchair accessible stuff as well
Great big park, lots of play areas with easily accessible parking and restrooms. My kid loves this place!
My 4yr old son really enjoyed it. He had the time of his life there. I highly recommend this park for other parents and their children.
Its the worlds first fully handicap accesable park which speaks volumes for it already. The playground is fun and unique, providing ample space for kids to play and run around. There are three different sections of the park to visit ad well if one area becomes a little overcrowded for your taste.
Place to go and gather your thoughts.Very peaceful and clean
Beautiful fall foliage, great place to walk your dog, meet a friend, go for a nice long walk.
My boyfriends son loves this park. Its very nice and well kept!
Unique park for the kids. Fun
Great place to go with toddlers on a hot day in the summer
The playground has such a variety for kids of all ages and abilities. The rubber flooring and synthetic wood keeps them from bringing home splinters, wood chips, and sand. Especially loved the 2-5 play area
Nephews birthday party turned out great! All the kids enjoyed the pool and the park
Great park and amenities! Love Camden Playground!
Nice clean park. Lots of families and a small pool. Very enjoyable.
Really fun for a toddler! The playgrounds were fun with varying activity difficulty levels. Unfortunately, it rained so we didnt get to go to the water part
Pretty amazing stuff here. Top quality park!
Palmer Park is great for kids, especially kids age 2-8. Camden Playground is the most accessible playground Ive ever seen. Some of the equipment is also accessible for parents with mobility challenges to play with their kids. There is a section for younger kids and a jungle gym that you can use a wheelchair in. Some of the slides arent accessible but there is one that has no steps. There is seating everywhere and the playgrounds accessibility features mostly blend in.My toddler loves this playground and it is easy to keep track of where he is without having to climb the equipment.
Great park, stopped ther on trip home to VA so the kids could get the energy out.
Nice park great ice age trails
My first time at palmer park. It was great! Newly constructed large playground and splash park to boot!
They have terrific coffee, and they provide excellent service!
Great playground for kids of all ages and abilities.
A real nice place to take the kids
A beautiful family-friendly park, with a wading pool for children 8 and younger ($1 each and concessions, a large modern playground, and a (zip line? I only saw this from a distance.) The park is much larger than the area I visited, so there may be more features and facilities in other areas.
Very lovely park and very well taken care of.
New to town. Great Park to start community involvement. Riding the Iceage trail from the kiddie pool north.
Beautiful this morning
