Wonderful place! Great history! Cute souvenir shop! Not necessarily handicap accessible.
Its closed until April, so they can work on winter projects. The staff and volunteers are polite and willing to help those who need it, either by walk in, email, or phone calls.
Very nice people. Toured the Tallman house as well.
Called on the way to the info. center. admission fees and locations were provided over the phone. Once we got there, fees doubled and we were informed that it wasnt one location, we had to pay for each building at a rate $30 vs. $5 per person. One of us stayed in the gift shop while the other used the bathroom and the staff was talking about us. We left and didnt take any tour. Not worth time, confusion, money or hassle.
Personal service with good information on what you want
Very Helpful Staff
Every tour over the years, I learned many details of our local history and the families that made up our heritage of this beautiful area of Rock County and Janesville. I have lived here my entire life and the history is alive and well with the staff and volunteers that enhance the Lincoln Tallman, and buildings that give a wealth of information to those thirsting for history.
Interesting, local Janesville history. Worth spending an afternoon and learning something, but not the most exciting experience, either.
The Pickard China here is over the top!
Amazing place
