Camp Milton is amazing.. the bike paths and the nature trails offer a serenely quiet and beautiful trek for exercise or to have a leisure stroll with the family just to clear your mind or get dose of vitamin D and much needed exercise for the kids and your pets... even your horses can enjoy this outing and adventure in a horsetical sites. This era of land has structures, camp sites and hints of the soldiers presence who fought the battle that took place here at Camp Miton!

Adjacent to the Jacksonville-Baldwin Rail-Trail, the Camp Milton Preserve is a beautiful location for walks and pic-nics. Remnant and still visible Civil War earthworks as seen from the interpretive boardwalk silently proclaim that military conflict swept through this area not so long ago.

This is historical trail, very short, and could a good option if you would like to read some interesting fact about the civil war and imagine those tines. I wish there would be some attractive buildings, not just a wood with signs only. There are 2 buildings and a small lake. Its good to see and spend 1h, but definetly not the must see in. I dont think Ill come back some days.
