What an amazing organization and event in Jacksonville. I went opening night 2 years ago and have generally gone to 5+ games a year. This year I finally bit the bullet and got season ticketsWhat an amazing price and saving. Great fun for a night out as a date or with the family.Go ICEMEN!!!

We are huge Icemen fans in our home. The games are always fun and the players truly live their fans. Fang is an awesome mascot and I have to say that the employees of the entire organization are amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure we all always have the best fan experience! If you havent been, you need to go!

If you love hockey, its a great time! The only negative is ticket prices are too expensive for a decent seat. This isnt the NHL!

We want for an iceman game and had a blast watching the game, funny fans on the jumbotron cam, jumbotron rides, and the mascot Fang. Prices are pretty reasonable on concessions and bathrooms are clean as well. Definitely kid friendly!

I had a great experience at the Icemen Hockey Game! Arena personnel were professional and upbeat, bathrooms were clean and beverages were cold! I especially appreciated the efforts to keep the younger crowd entertained by the intermission performers and mascots!Insider tip: Now that the Veterans Memorial Arena is owned by Vystar, use your Vystar card at the concession stand for $1 off every item!

Saw Trans Siberian Orchestra here.Good place to see a concert. Good sound. Got out pretty fast and parking was not too bad.

We love our Icemen in Jacksonville. High action hockey. The Coliseum is a great venue. The team has quickly grown a vocal and supportive fan base. Rink-side seats run about $40-50, and you can get end zone section seats for as little as ten bucks. The team is always holding special promotions, so you can often get seats for the family for a good cost.

The busy at arena needs major updates!seats are super tight! Vendors are rude. But the game and icemen are Amazing!

One of the most fun events Ive been to in jacksonville. The crowd is always hyped up and there is never a dull moment. Even though hockey isnt usually a very high scoring sport, there is plenty of action, trust me. Tickets arent generally very expensive and I just like the veterans memorial arena

Hockey is back in Jax! Out of the four major professional sports, hockey is probably my favorite sport to watch live. Lets win a championship, Icemen!

I love watching the game .. its lively and fun.. seats are very reasonable and the event has all kinds of interesting things going on... Music, dancing, Chuck the puck... Etc.. great for the family. Beware... A 10 ticket has all kinds of fees added on so its more like 20... But thats how all things are these days. Also park in the garage as there are scam artist trying to get u to park in not so good places.

All the fighting got old very quickly. Play the game.

Best ticket in town! Team always gives 100% and am proud to support these guys. Front office is great to work with and you can tell they care about being a part of Jax.

Opening night was a blast! Sold out crowd but it was easy to get in the arena and get seated. Staff moved things along quickly and were friendly. Excited to come back!

Ive visited several ECHL and NHL franchises this season, and Jax Icemen stand out in their efforts to engage the fanbase-- from inviting military vets to the games free of charge, to inviting dog owners to bring their pets, donating dog ticket proceeds to local animal shelters, to having a mascot that is very hands on and interactive with kids in the audience.Never before had I seen so many dogs at a hockey game, and it was surreal, seeing a ton of pooches rocking all kinds of jerseys and gracing the big screen during break in the action. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed the atmosphere in the arena was electric, yet relaxed, if that makes any sense. Dogs curling next to or up on their hoomans laps was truyl special. Corgi race during one of the intermissions was heart-warming.Inviting vets and current military members to stand up and getting a round of applause was a nice touch, as well.The mascot, Fang, was a hoot- stealing a kids popcorn, playfully throwing it at his face--the kid loved playing with the mascot, even if my description short changes Fangs efforts.Also, seeing fans rocking Autism Awarness Icemen jerseys and the Icemen players jerseys for tonights game being adorned with added cartoonish graphics mens best friend further demonstrates that the team is very much engaged with local community and social issues.I havent seen as many kids and families at a hockey game, nor what appeared to be season ticket holders interacting with one another as I did tonight.Tonights game was fun, but it felt as though there was more depth to the experience, there being more to it than a hockey game, where people load up in their cars and disperse after the final whistle, it felt as though there was a lasting and powerful connection between the organization and the community that the team is a part of.Throughout the night I kept thinking that the Icemens approach was different than anything Ive experienced with regards to pro hockey. ECHL rivals like the Florida Everblades and the Orlando Solar Bears felt just like another hockey game; not that there is anything wrong with that, but I did not feel anything towards the team/organization.The TB Lightning is a premier NHL organization which is run superbly and generates a ton of praise in regards to its impact on and connection to the local community, and id think of the Icemen in the same vein, only that the Icemen are truly affordable as a family experience, something that can be done on reflate basis, something where memories can be built.Tonights experience felt more engaging and genuine than the Lightning games that Ive been to-- a great deal of what appeared to be working class families enjoying their evening and supporting a team that is conscientiously engaged with its community. I thought that the people in attendance tonight were a more accurate representation of the demographics of the local community than the games in Orlando or Fort Myers (ECHL), or crowds at the Lightning and Panthers games.To me, Jax Icemens high attendance rate totally makes sense. I wish I lived closer (Im in the Tampa Bay Area), id get the season tickets.
