Clean, friendly, experienced, professional. They take all precautions in support of disease awareness and prevention. Their instructors are very knowledgeable and capable for all levels.

Spent a lovely day celebrating my daughters birthday there! The staff is amazing and well organized. Cleanest bathroom in Jacksonville for sure. Have your child’s birthday party here, you won’t regret it. Better than Chuck e Cheese & you can also bring your own food. Tables are provided depending on amount of people attending. Bring your table cloth, cooler with non alcohol drinks and catered food. Prices are reasonable. Schedule ahead of time. Remember the 6P’s (piss poor planning prevents poor performance)

Made a payment agreement with them, and then they tried to pull full amount from my account without authorization. Instead of getting back in contact with me they sent out a summons for money owed. Horrible owner and would not recommend as money is all that is cared about not the actual athletes or families that keep the place running. I know many who have switched to Step Ahead and like their buisness more.

If I could give this company zero stars it wouldnt be low enough. They only care about money, not the students. Asking for an end of year show that we paid for which wont be happening before we drop our daughter due to not being able to do zoom classes (which we also have to pay a prorated amount for). I specifically asked the owner of this gym about filling out a 30 day withdrawal form March 22nd and was not given an answer. The owner denise is very unprofessional via Facebook messenger and still skirts around answering questions regarding refunds. Do not go to this gym!!!

My daughter enjoys her weekly class here and is always looking forward to learning more. She says coaches are great and they have helped her develop new skills she didn’t even know she had. Glad we found this gym. We love it.

Sam is THEE BEST COACH EVER! In one afternoon Sam helped my daughter gain 3 skills, regain her confidence, and fall in love with the sport again.I saw my child smile during and after practice. It was a magical experience. Sam is everything that a gymnastics coach should be for a gymnast. She was firm, instructive, and had a sense of humor. Her leadership inspires a gymnast to do more and be more.There is also the added bonus of her being a gymnast capable of demonstrating the skills and making it look easy.I recommend Sam as a go-to coach, a motivator, and a compassionate support capable of building gymnastics skills and nurturing the self-esteem of young athletes.

Teachers are always friendly and knowledgeable. My children enjoy going here every week. The owner is very sweet and always helps us any way possible. My son and his neighbor friend enjoy the summer camps. They are fun for the kids and easy for scheduling because you can pick certain weeks to attend.We have had multiple birthdays done at Classic Gymnastics and its always a huge hit, the kids have a blast and its easy for the hosting parents because you just bring in your food and gifts and everything else is done for you. Love this place.

My daughter loved going here! The coaches were very patient and amazing with all the kids. I wish I had more time for more than 1 class per week, but my daughter always looked forward to it.

Great place for kids to learn the basics. One on one time is high. The coaches genuinely care about gymnastics and the kids progressing in skill while having fun. Highly recommend.

This gym is a beautifully put together facility. The equipment and the building are top notch and the management and coaches are superb. Coach Sam and the other coaches are an absolute pleasure for the kids to learn and grow with. 5 stars for sure!

Great place for kids to learn gymnastics. Coach Andre definetly the best coach my daughter only had a few classes with him and she learned so much that when I enrolled her here in FL she was able to move to advance classes. We were sad we had to move unexpectedly. Definetly recommend this place

I absolutely LOVE Classic! We tried Step Ahead first about 6 yes ago and our daughter hated it. But we moved to Classic and she would be so excited for her classes and open gym on Fridays. They even do sleepovers as well. Mrs. Denise and all of the staff and instructors know what they are doing, are fully trained and work so well with the kids. Makes a huge difference and brings a smile to your face and warmth to your heart when you see the confidence they have instilled in your child. If I could give 100 stars, I would.

My daughter was instructed at Classic Gymnastics and Step Ahead during our previous tour in Jacksonville. When we returned, we enrolled again in Classic Gymnastics. The instructors are focused on teaching and mentoring. The environment is more family friendly. Weve been very pleased with the instruction and the communication at Classic. My son, also enrolled, nearly never misses an open gym session on Fridays in addition to his scheduled class.

My daughter recently started in December and absolutely loves this place! I am impressed as well. I can REALLY appreciate that the instructors actually fully demonstrate how to execute the moves. I find that is not the case for other places we have tried. The class ratios and 1-hr session is the perfect amount of time allotted, and the monthly tuition is very reasonable. The instructors keep the gymnasts engaged the whole hour with no lag time (only one water break). The fact that they have a vending machine onsite in case you forget to pack water or an evening snack...is a BIG plus. :) The extra events (sleepover, performances, etc) hosted there throughout the year, we are really excited about and looking forward to....

The quality of instructors is really hit or miss. My son was in the 4 year old class and I moved him around throughout the week to try to find a good instructor. Its amazing how much the classes varied from instructor to instructor! None were wonderful, a few were decent, some I refused to have instruct my son. They just dont seem to care about their job. I have encountered other workers at various birthday parties who were outstanding so there is potential. My main fault with the instructors is their seemingly lack of concern for safety. Kids engage in their activities far too close to each other. Run ins are common. I would second the cleanliness comment of the previous post. My son refused to use the bathroom there because he said it stunk. I shuddered to see all the kids walking around barefoot. However, the owner is extremely friendly and seems like a nice person. I do plan on trying again with my daughter when shes older. Maybe there will be a change of instructors by then.

My daughter has been here for three years and we liked it a lot. Unfortunately in the last month the best coach left. Overall staff is nice and patient with kids.

I have to say something positive among all this negativity. On the cleanliness issue, the mats have been replaced as of summer 2012, and the bathroom has always been clean every time Ive been there. The instructors Ive encountered have been kind and caring and have emphasized safety, as opposed to my experience with their competition in J-ville, Step Ahead Gymnastics. I did a mommy and me type class last year and this coming school year my 3yo will be participating in Mighty Mites, so Im obviously happy with the place.

Daughter looks forward to weekly classes. She is learning skills and gaining confidence. Staff very good with children. Waiting area is congested but it does not affect my daughter, so its ok

I give it a three, It wasnt a horrible experience but it also wasnt the best. I will say one of the coachs does play favorites and was in my opinion a bit rude. BUT I met this awesome coach who helped excut the skills step by step.Which was WONDERFUL!

I went down to this gym trying to get information to sign my daughter up. The place smelled like sweat, and seemed very dirty. There were two girls behind the counter. One was texting on her cell phone, and the other didnt even look up to acknowledge me while I stood there. Needless to say, I walked out.I went to another gym in the area, and was immediately greeted as I walked in. The person I dealt with there was friendly, and the gym seemed much less chaotic.
