Played today and it’s a fair layout. I enjoyed it. Condition was pretty good compared to my last visit MANY years ago. Greens were slow but in good shape...just slow, not bad at all. Tough layout away from the fairway. A lot of water around the course but it’s pretty avoidable with good shots. Pricing is very fair...overall a very good and surprising value. Will return soon.

Really enjoyed my round here and for the price, its an amazing golf experience. There is alot of water on this course, so definitely bring your precise A game and long irons. Fairways are in great condition. The greens roll well and with the exception of about 2-3 greens having a couple bumps in them, they play tough and fast. I will definitely play this course again. Solid location!

Honestly, we almost didnt go play here on my visit to Nocatee, only because the website looked outdated. But I have to say, I am glad we did!!! The website does not do this course justice. It was a very fun layout with plenty of variety, lots of water to make it challenging and work up your nerves to hit a good shot, and nice staff. Masks are required in the clubhouse, with up to 2 people inside to pay at a time, which is more than fair, and safe for the current times.Highly recommend...and hit em straight! Accuracy over distance in the front 9.

Nice layout. If played from correct tees it is a fair course, reward good shots & not overly penalizing miss hits, but duly punishing errant shots. Great friendly staff, good lunch. Great pace of play (3:45), never waited on a shot. Only reason not 5 stars was greens were still recovering from aerating & sand (which we knew when booking).

We went out to hit some balls on the driving range and visited the clubhouse first for drinks. We were late so Jerry went and got us a bucket of balls. We were also sent home with delicious tacos from the kitchen!!! We enjoyed chatting with Jerry and the members before heading out. We will be back!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

Probably my favorite layout in this area. Course is never in immaculate shape, but the challenging layout makes up for it. Just a great test of golf. A hidden gem.

We had a lunch meeting, the menu and food was very good. Great touch linens on the tables. The servers are friendly and know the menu well. As an added bonus they serve PEPSI!

Nice course layout. Greens were a little wrecked but I think were winterized? Overall course coolness made up for the greens issues. Had a great time playing here.

This is the worst course I have experienced，1. A guy yelled at me and it is a nightmare ，other players told me he is always playing there. Horrible experience，need a serious apology from the manager.2. Their employee is hiding every truth about what I experienced，and after I wrote my review they taged me you will have no business，this is not what I wish to hear.3. I dont really feel any warm service，unlike other golf course that everyone is warm and polite.4. Some other players comes to me and tell me this course is always like this.5. I tried hard to be as polite as possible.This is the first time I use Google Review，hope everyone just got a full picture about this golf course.

Its been a while since Ive played Cimarrone, but Im glad I went back. Course is in GREAT shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. The course does have its fair share of water...but it just adds to the character. No two holes are alike... well worth your time and money

This is a challenging layout and makes you hit most clubs in your bag. The condition has improved and the pace of play is usually very good

Was pretty backed up but had a good round. The greens were sub par but not in the good sense. The fish sandwich was surprisingly good.

Course was very nice. Management of the tournament they were running was very poor. No food was available when we finished & no indication the raffle & silent auction was starting prior to the end of everyone being back in the clubhouse. Very disappointing!!!!

I played this course yesterday. The fairways have not been maintained. On the front 9, there was little difference between the rough and fairways. On the turn, the fairways were being mowed but the clippings were so heavy, the ball had no roll. Also, too many moguls on every hole, Ridiculously high rough for amateur play. Too difficult to find the ball and advance it when it was found.

I’ve waited about 6 months to write a poor review, hoping that the course would come around, but no such luck. The course is very poorly maintained, the greens are spotty and dead in places, and even the good greens the grass is so long and bumpy you have to hammer in even 6ft putts. Definitely just played my last round at Cimarrone.

Best track around Jax Ive played anyway. Fast cosistant greens. Keep it in the fairway. It challenges you to water every hole but 2. Great service in the clubhouse. Awesome practice facilities. Worth every penny.....and some

The worst golf course I have ever experienced, cannot be worse, meet a guy who is obviously mental disorder and no employee take care of it.

The greeting I have from the club was exceptional.I was paired with a couple of members Michael and Sherry and what an awesome day everybody was so polite and nice I wanted to stay, However I could not as I was traveling through I recommend this golf course to anybody that is visiting Jacksonville Florida it is a challenging course great people and make sure you say hello to Peggy in the Pro Shop five stars just for her!

Top notch golf. Reasonably priced and a great set of holes. We saw a couple of Gators. Theres water on every hole so dont take it too seriously.

This golf club was trash starting with the customer service, the organization of the club, the mix and matched inconsistent and poorly gripped golf clubs, and also to the dead and spotty greens through all 18 holes. I have played golf for a while and I always like to check out new courses and this was one of the worst rounded experiences I’ve had. Being from out of town I needed to pickup a set of rental clubs and they had a dozen sets of them in a closet but handed me one and then quickly closed it. When I got out to my cart, the elderly cart man was condescending to me and my foursome acting like we weren’t experienced golfers or paying customers. When we pulled clubs out of our rental sets, we see that nearly all the grips were dried out and chalky or shredded up with the fuzz all over them- absolutely unacceptable. The greens were dry and and inconsistent, tee boxes were shot, and there was no cart service around the course. If a gator had come out of one of their water hazards and eaten all of their staff personnel, that would be a solid first step for this course to take.

Great layout and condition. Greens are consistent and fairways are well defined and cut. No blind shots but water in play on most holes. Good overall condition and friendly and helpful staff. Made me feel welcome and placed me a good group of players. Fun course.

You will love playing this course! Its a beatufil course and the greens are always in great shape. Its one of the most forgiving courses in all of Northeast Florida. Its also one of the best bangs for your buck! They just spent millions of dollars on a brand new driving range, practice facilities and putting greens. Have Fun!

This is definitely a challenging course where water is really in play on many holes. Take plenty of balls if you dont hit straight. I enjoyed playing the course though and the staff were friendly. Practice facilities were good as was lunch. I would have given 4 stars but they had just spiked the greens which made them slow and bumpy. It made putting a bit of a lottery. Overall experience though was positive and would play the course again.

If you havent played Cimarone it is in excellent shape. The rough and fairways are in great shape and the greens are in the best shape Ive seen in a long time. Rates are very fair and always a friendly and great round. Thank you very much to the new owners and wonderful staff.

This is a challenging course but the condition was fabulous. They have Rangers on front and back nine. Greens were great. Stayed for Friday evening dinner at the clubhouse which was delicious !

Went there last Sunday, and I was VERY Impressed. Greens and Fairway was kept up perfectly. The round of golf was less than $40 which is crazy because the quality of the course was very high. Will definitely be going back to this one.

Cimarrone is a great layout, but it is not a good golf experience. The greens were not maintained this spring and are now baked. The pace of play is not monitored and is out of control.

The course is in great shape, the challenge is keeping it in the fairway,because if you miss by 2 ft, your in rough above your ball. Very tough to get aclean hit, w/ that much grass behind your ball,but thats why we play. We are not supposed to miss the fairway! Im going to continue playing there untill I get it right! Cimmorne is a true test, play itand find out! Im going back next week! Greens are true!!!!

I golf all around North FL and South GA. We played at the whites and they paired us up with players at the tip. We later let them played thru. We were also behind a 3some group of ladies, all with their own cart. I brought Gatorade with me and got yelled out with no outside beverages. Its not worth it unless there is a groupon or tournament.

A bunch of old farts there not very friendly greens were horrific
