The owner didnt care that the jukebox was playing explicit lyrics - he blamed it on the jukebox company and said he had no control. Well I called them also and they only supply the machine it is the owners responsibility to add any filters that they want. The place is extremely dirty and nasty as well. Dont bring your kids here. It is definitely not a family place.

For bowling its okay. Run down lanes that break often. Bowling balls and shoes are very weathered. Food and drink selection is miserable.

This establishment is beyond run down and outdated. From the overly stained and dirty carpet to the horrendous smell that lingers in the air. The website prices don’t match what you’re charged. The arcade games are all broken (with no sign or notice posted); and at least three lanes are always out of order with no intent of repair. The owner/manager is the most unprofessional person ever. If you try to address an issue with him he makes an excuse as to why it’s broken, or just ignores you. So if you have nothing else to do and you need to regret your life choices somewhere then the Bowl-O-Drome might be the place for you. But if you expect DECENT customer service, working/well maintained lanes, and overall good atmosphere don’t come here!

A classic bowling experience! It maybe a bit rough around the edges, but I like it. I dont think it would be a true bowling experience if everything was perfect. I have been going here for years and wish I bowled more.The food is what you expect for the bowling alley environment. Not the highest of quality, but authentic. It is all reasonable priced and one of my best friends used to do a bowling league here.He always got us the in with employees and I always have a blast.

This place is a joke. The guy at the front counter was as creepy as they come and took our deposit and then told us there were no bumpers for kids and no food. They refused to return our deposit and we left. The place looks like it will fall down soon anyway.

Deals on Draft beers and themed bowling late nights. Wonderful owners make for a great experience. Good selection of house bowling balls. Occasional college/high school crowd is obnoxious but not enough to deter me bowling here every once in a while.

Pretty nice and typical bowling area scene. It has an okay atmosphere/feel to it. The staff was a little rude at first. I booked a party there for my birthday but they did not seem to cooperate with me even after I double checked two times before my actual party time. Luckily, it all worked out in the end. Besides that I would recomend it if youre looking for something to do in the area.

My parents are not happy with this place. Not managed at all. the coffee league was late bowling due to manager not showing up. and now we hear its not USBC CERTIFIED certified for league and juniors bowlers. I was banned years ago for calling Kenny an idiot. looks like it has been proven true.

I don’t recommend this place because my son was here for a youth activity. He said that it was not well maintained and the lanes were overly oiled. He also stated that it took about five to ten minutes for the ball return. Also, while my son was waiting for his ball to return at the end of his time, they turned everything off causing my son’s ball to get stuck in the ball return machine. My son went up to let them know and see if they could turn it back on so he could get his ball. They first told him no until one of the youth leaders got involved.

I agree with you Toni. AND WE are league bowlers!! EVERY week we have either one issue to deal with or another. Cant say just go somewhere else! Lets be serious.I personally say When are WE going to see some improvements from the MONEY we pay week after week.Most of us who bowl are bowling for fun, social time. exercise etc, but we also need to know where our $$$ are being used? Is that so wrong?We pay taxes...we can SEE where its being used.We eat at restrarants....we KNOW where that money goes.We hike the park, go to movies and concerts..... all taken care of by admission fees!!!SO I ask you OWNERS and OPERATORS of Bowl o Drome, just one simple question..WHERE IS our money that we pay each and EVERY week going????

Somewhat run down, but a lot of bowling places are. My wife and friends joked that we might get mugged on the way in, but we had a great time bowling. Not a bad place to kill a few hours if you are looking for something besides a movie.

Knock down pins while having some drinks with friends! I went with a group of six and we all had a good time. I had seen previous complaints in reviews about the management, but there wasnt anything problematic in my experience. In fact, the guy at the service desk was always super on top of taking care of lane malfunctions, running to the back without being prompted by anyone complaining. Maybe management has changed...

Most all of these reviews are pretty old. The guy that people refer to that gives poor service still works the desk, but the new owner keeps him in check. Ive bowled here with my family 6 or 7 times so far and the new owner (Indian lady) is fantastic. If you had a bad experience, Id give them another shot.

Absolutely disgusting . Alleys are always broken, balls get stuck and end up with large gouges in them. Score boards arent working. Had to keep score manually. The owners, managers do not take care of anything. The place is also disgustingly dirty.Dont go there!!!!

Not the most modern place, nor the cleanest. But they have good prices for a fun bowling night. They have a bar, pool tables, air hockey, and a couple of arcade games.

Its a local attraction. I little worn down. Lanes are not well kept but if your looking for something to do locally here it is

Mr and Mrs Patel have always greeted us warmly and run a great house. Its a pleasure to bowl here and great value.

I have bowled here for many years regularly and love it. The owner is a good guy, he and his wife are very chill. Not the highest class I guess, but its a bowling alley...if you want a cleaner, more expensive route you can go to Trumansburg, but it is old school and you have to keep your own score. I have to say I miss when Ides was an option in town but Bowl-O-Drome is fine with me.

Bowling alley with digital score keeping which is nice compared two the other two alleys in the area. The prices are okay. Drink prices can be cheap sometimes.

Wonderful bowling experience, great facilities, ramps for the kids, papa John delivers and the snack bar and bar are handy. One of ithacas best go to spots for family fun.

I love to bowl Im in two leagues subject on another,the8have fixed the machines that makes it more enjoyable.

The actual lanes are great and the equipment works well too but the restaurant area, bathrooms are very old and not well maintained

We had very bad service and we payed for a hour and they cut us half way and would not refund our money. When I went to express my my complaint I was completely cut off and they would not let me speak at all. This bowling alley is a waste of time and money!!!!

I use to go to bowl o drome when i was a little kids when my grand mother my mother aunts and cusin bowled on leages and i have to say its still a great place now My husband and I take are son and are grandkids on Friday nights for rock a bowl. Its a lot of fun for all of us.

This place does not appear to have changed since 1983. That is not a good thing. The one employee working when we were there was very rude. Go somewhere else.
