OMG! I had a great experience in this hotel. I got Casita 15 and the place was super neat. Nothing to complain about.Staff is super attentive. The private pool was the best. We spent long hours in it.The food awwww delicious.Will definitely come back soon.

This was the perfect place to celebrate my anniversary. Customer service provided by the waiter Nelson and the GM Angel was impeccable and the timing was just right. I honestly have no cons to write about. The view from this place during the day is amazing and during the night even more. There is so little light pollution that you can see so many stars on the sky. I absolutely LOVED IT.

Property perfect place for romantic getaway. Villas and cliffside ocean views are amazing. Food and service good when priced at a level it should be great. If spending more than one day, get out to beaches and seafood restaurants nearby.

We stayed for our anniversary, food is good ( not as pricy as we thought it would be), the place is beautiful and quiet to have a relaxing stay.

The coconut lo-mein is out of this world and would recommend to anyone. Also, the watermelon mojito was above and beyond!!! Everything surpassed my expectations by far. Im definitely coming back pronto!!! Last but not least, the margharita flat bread pizza has no comparison, as it was si crispy and tasty. Wow!!!

Royal Isabella is an amazing resort In Puerto Rico.Gorgeous casitas, unbelievable restaurant and on and on...You wont be disappointed.You do not need to play golf to go there.The beaches near by are great.Recommend to all travelers10 stars...

Grounds are extremely well kept and the staff are incredibly accommodating. The lodging is spectacular and the views are the best you will find anywhere. The private pool feels secluded and still offers amazing views

Tremendous views, but the greens have a weed issue. Tight course made more difficult by winds. Be on your game.

This restaurant is hit or miss sometimes the food is great and other days not so great. However the presentation speaks for itself

We loved our stay. There were certain aspects that make it hard to pull off incredible, off the chart service, but with that being said, it a beautiful location. The beach is a hike to get to, mostly not swimmable, but is also very private, clean and gorgeous. The layout of the resort is inconvenient for parking, lacking in access to amenities and the lobby/restaurant, but its landscaped beautifully. The staff was a bit slow to respond when you need something, but they are extremely nice and professional. The casitas themselves are unbeatable. They are adorned in beautiful wood, the patios are fully equipped (especially the presidential suite), the bathroom is fantastic. I would stay there again and again.

Royal Isabela will not disappoint!!!!! Beautiful secluded hotel with your own private room with a small pool. The resort is huge and very clean. There is a 15 min hike to a nearby beach its not swimable but its a beautiful beach. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is great to vist other nearby beaches. Will definitely stay again.

Very beautiful place but the restaurant’s food is horrible and room service was giving somewhat of an attitude. Barely any food places delivered so when you stay there you’re kinda stuck eating from their restaurant.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are awesome but we experienced a terrible stay. Guests are rude and have no regards to others staying and customer service is horrible. We called guest services during our stay as guests two house over were extremely loud and disturbing. Constant yelling and loud music could be heard and even other guests yelled for them to quite down and yet guest services didnt do anything about it because the were members according to the front desk. We even heard them screaming inside the casita. In addition, we found a roach of the size of my index finger and other small ones on our room, we complained to guest services only to be told Im so sorry and thats it. Restaurant is overpriced for the little food and quality. Coffee is $4 for each refill only to taste like water. To make matters worse, we asked guest services if any military discounts are offered for active members since many hotels offer a small discount off the rate of the room only to be given a very abrupt NO. We wish we could have enjoyed our stay for the crazy price we paid per night. If guest services had been more accommodating and respectful we would have enjoyed our stay. However the cockroaches and loud guests combined with guest services not caring about any these things made this a one star experience at the four star price.

Peace and quiet, quality food, service has room for imorovement at the restaurant, although for not having a reservation, it was a good experience overall.

For a 400 to 600 night stay I expect a certain amount of comfort more than a 200 night stay. And while the royal isabela had some amazing pros, I would not say they met the mark given he price and clientiele. Read below for more detailsCredit where credit is due-food was very standard or above standard. Steak wrap for lunch amazing flavor, filet steak for dinner agiant hunks of meat. But the ribeye was small, fatty and a dollar more than filet-the grounds were beautiful and well maintainedwe-we felt safe during our stay-staff greeted you when walking aroundCons-staff interactions were a hit or miss. Sometimes very nice, others were a bit rude (check in guy although we know English isnt your first language which is okay, I felt like you were dismissing my questions and were a bit aggressive in your manner) they also sometimes never got back to us on things. As a result I had anxiety about asking for help, but due to unanswered questions j needed to ask- we stayed in castia 10. We felt like not alot of privacy for the outside spaces-shower was minerally and 1 shower head didnt even work, the rain shower was on for half and hour and it stayed cold and also sprayed incorrectly due to the minerally-sometimes I felt out of place. Im 24 and my partner is 29. I felt like maybe it was because we werent the main clientele. Why did we park so dang far when we saw our neighbors park next to the parking near the castiaCovid focused-if Im not allowed to eat in the restaurant, dont charge me service fees. Not cool because I literally cant avoid themthem-I appreciate every staff member wore masks-restaurant hours are from 9 am to 6pm keep this in mind when deciding to come during covid-for some reason dinner menu had to be texted to us instead of put in the booklet? Seemed weird since the breakfast and lunch were updated and could be ordered fromI give credit where credit is due, and it was a nice stay, but given the price it just wasnt worth it. I could find an amazing Airbnb given this nightly price

I only went to the restaurant but the place is stunningly beautiful and the food was delicious. The only flaw was that they had just a couple of waiters and it was hard to get their attention above the rest of the customers. Would love to come back and stay a weekend though.

I was here because I was looking for a venue for my wedding. The young lady that we spoke too was very nice and helpful. She told us that they will be emailing us with all the information but we never heard from them. We even send them an email and didnt get any respond . I dont think that is way to do business. Im really not happy.

Didnt golf but wow what an amazing place. Very clean, staff was very attentive, and the whole place is so beautiful.

Its a really great property. Beautiful scenery, well-landscaped, and the restaurant is delicious. But the number of little things wrong with the entire experience makes it really tough to recommend.Whats the point of folding doors when you have to fight for 30 minutes to close them back. Whats the point of 3 shower heads and a big tub when the water pressure is so low that the shower doesnt work and it takes an hour to fill the tub over a foot. Half the doors on cabinets didnt close right. Lots of mineral deposits on all the water fixtures. And there is just a bit less privacy at the Casita than youd want.And the entire experience the staff creates is really sub par. There is no communication for any services like laundry, room service, breakfast, or any other activities or amenities. The check in process was weird with the golf cart to the Casita. The entire guest experience needs to be reevaluated, especially when there is no concierge coverage.Even though the front desk is supposedly watched during their stated hours, we repeatedly had to call to no answer. And when asked the next day, they just said we called after they were closed at 10 (it was multiple times between 6:30 and 7:30) and they never answered the next day. Apparently they can give a guided tour of the golf course, but after being told twice theyd reach out to us with availability, we never heard back.Maybe I just had a bad experience. Maybe because Im younger then their normal clientele. Only a small number of people stay here at a time, which probably makes it even easier to be understaffed.

This resort is absolutely stunning. The casitas are beautiful, and you have the most amazing views perched in the mountains. It does have a really awesome trail down to a beautiful secluded beach as well. Great food at the restaurant. And not to mention the golf course is incredible. Not a very large staff at all so service isn’t necessarily the quickest but very friendly staff and they will get you whatever you need. Overall such an enjoyable place, you will love it!

Just wow...The million dollar ocean view alone is worth the price of admission. The suites are so fantastic, you only wonder how much better the presidential suite can possibly be. Fantastic place to relax and unwind.

This place is absolutely the best on the island. i used to go there from dc almost every year then stopped for a while because of personal issues. we went back with friends for the first time after the hurricane last year. the places had been reopened though you could still see the damages near the sliding door or on the trails. workers were working on the repair. food was very good. love royal isabela. we will be back this year.

Great hotel but there could be some improvements to deserve 5 stars. Needs better room services provided for the cost of the room. Beds should have a thicker blanket available. Rooms should have more privacy. Check-in process was meh. We couldnt lock the outside door of the bathroom. In fact, all the doors had issues with missing parts to properly operateThat rooms were spacious and luxurious. Shower and bath tub areas were amazing. Private jacuzzi was great thing to spend a bit of time every day. Restaurant was one of the best I have been at in a hotel. Views were amazing and staff was superb.

Everything was great! Food was great, prices are what is expected for a resort. Restaurant is still not open everyday (open Wed to Sun), not fully recovered from Maria. Casita is the best! Everyone, including the groundskeepers, are very friendly.

This is a special place. Spectacular golf course with three shots across oceanside canyons and an island green. There are still some repairs going on from Maria, but should be done soon. Great standalone Casitas nicer than any hotel suite - all with great ocean views. And incredible staff and ownership.
