I just dropped off my wife and baby for a swimming lesson. There was no one from the company at the entrance and many people who came out and wanted to enter blocking the entrance and all very close to each other (logically with very animated screaming children). I hope the company detects this danger point and improves it.

Waterworks Aquatics is a very good swimming school. Lots of pools, convenient facilities, clean water, lifeguards on call. My son has been learning to swim here for more than a year, twice a week, without a break. Carrie is a good coach, patient and professional. My son has learned to swim freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke, from a boy who is afraid to go in the water to a “little shark” who can swim in the pool alone. Thanks for the swimming school. Waterworks has been a wonderful experience for my two children. We have had our two children in Water works for over two years now and we have experienced many different instructors. Most all of them have been a pleasure to work with. Each instructor has their own different teaching style but still all very professional. Mr. Paul has been the one instructor my kids and I love most. Paul is very patient, positive and very professional. He is stern and strict it’s exactly what the kids need!

Love everything about this program! We go to the LA Fitness in Arcadia, Ca and we have had a great experience with the program. My 3yr old started swimming on her own after 4 lessons. All the instructors are great. I love the flexibility of being able to schedule her lesson when it works for us and to be able to pick who she swims with. Mohammad is her favorite! She looks forward to seeing him every lesson! They work on safety and form, which is great for her young age. I’m so glad we found waterworks!!

Lily is amazing at the Torrance location! Our son has been going to her for over half a year and we’ve noticed an improvement in his comfort with swimming. Our son loves swim class because of her and she’s so good with kids.

My daughter joined the aquatic center in their Hayward City center facility at the age of 5 with private 1-1 session which works great. She has been then continuing for ween end session with two consecutive lessons which allow her to learn a lot. Faculty members are super awesome. With in 2.5 years period she was able to reach level 12 and now she has been preparing for diving under the water. Faculty members exactly know the techniques, moreover my daughter is super happy going there. I would highly encourage parents to bring their growing kid where you get more one on one attention.

Miss Vanessa is so patient and sweet with my 3 and 6 year old. I also love how my kids can be in the same class! I also love the flexibility of having the lessons at the times that got my schedule. It’s been great!

My daughter has been at Waterworks for just about a year now. The front desk always greets us as we arrive and leave. Dallas is my daughters instructor. He is the only instructor my daughter will see. He is strict and fun. He focuses on the positives. We’re so lucky to have him as our instructor. Soon my son will start with him.

I have my 4 year old learning in San Diego center. Their service is excellent, website is easy to use and if I need assistant they make it immediately. We spent our time with about 5 different instructors and they are all awesome. my son was so attached to his instructor so he really really sad every time we need to change instructor. However, eventually he love all of them

Since the first time we came to Water Works at Irvine, Lesly was very welcoming, full of excitement and full of energy. My kids Galilea and Daniel absolutely love her. They can’t wait to go to the lessons because Lesly makes the lesson for my kids very exciting. I have always had a wonderful time at water works. I would recommend Water Works in Irvine to anyone who wants to teach there kids how to swim.

We have been with Waterworks Aquatics (at the Santa Clara, City Sports branch) for about 1 year. What weve found is that when we find a good teacher that matches our expectations in teaching styles, its generally pretty good. They do pack the lessons in back-to-back so it is sometimes up to you to make sure you are getting your full time, especially if an instructor is running behind on their schedule.

Convenience and great instruction. You can easily schedule appointments online and my sons instructor Jade is great with my 9-yr old son. He loves going to his swimming lessons.

My daughter started the swimming lessons with Waterworks for about a month. Due to busy summer schedule, we were able to cancel the class and make up the class in another day. The teacher at our location in Diamond Bar is very nice. So happy they started this in our area.

My almost 2 year old daughter takes swim lessons here. Her instructor, Dallas, is so great! He works so well with her and makes her feel comfortable in the water. I would highly recommend this facility and Dallas as an instructor.

My daughter has been going to waterworks in Irvine for quite some time now. Her teacher, Ms. Carrie, is AWESOME!!!!! Ms. Carrie is super sweet, very kid-friendly, always encouraging my daughter to strive for more and most importantly, she truly cares for her students! Weve been with Waterworks for 3+ years. My son has gained so much confidence in the water. The instructors are great and the facilities are spacious and clean. We wont be going anywhere else.

We are going to the Arcadia Facility. The instructor, Carrie, is great with my two children for a semi private session.I put 4 stars mainly because the link they gave for this review is pointing to Irvine facility instead of our facility in Arcadia.

My son has been taking lessons at WW since he was 18 mos old. The instructors were skilled and sensitive to his needs. My only negative experience is when my instructor left, we had a difficult time finding a replacement and my sons skills regressed. But the facility made the effort to address this with me.

We have been so happy with Waterworks! Coach Drew has been wonderful with both of my kids and they get better every lesson :)I also appreciate scheduling through the website

My 21 months old has been taking Parent and me beginner classes at Waterworks with Giselle. 3 classes done so far. We are really happy that we found this place and got him enrolled. Presently, they concentrate on getting him used to the water and practicing back floats. The indoor pools are well maintained and temperature controlled. The kids even have a play area in the water which they can use before or after their lessons. The Help line also works amazing for rescheduling classes or for any other enquiry. I like that it’s so hassle free. Would highly recommend this place!

I like the instructors we met so far - Ben, Joelle and Shanya. We also appreciate the flexibility to be able to cancel lessons up to 2 hours before they start and get a make up lesson instead. My 3 kids are currently taking lessons and making a good progress!

We have been going to Waterworks in Irvine for 6+ years now. We started taking my son to the parent & me classes when he was 18 months old and now he participates in stroke clinics & swim competitions. These last couple of years, we have been very lucky & thankful to have found 2 awesome instructors – Amy & Chris.

My 6 year old has been swimming at Torrance waterworks aquatics for 3 years and has had a great experience. Lily is the best teacher ever.

My kids (7yo and 5yo) love their lessons. Favorite thing about the waterworks aquatics is their instructor. All the instructors are nice, encouraging and tentative.

I visit Waterworks in West Covina and have been for over a year now. I am pleasantly pleased on the safety skills and new fun swimming techniques my child has learned. It is a fun and positive experience.

Love the scheduling easy and availability. Only on our second lesson so cant comment on effectiveness, but so far so good.

Both my daughters have been taking swimming lesson since the summer started. They are making a huge progress. The instructors are patience with the kids. The only issue is the water in the LA fitness location is not always consistence which is probably out of water works control. Half the time the water is cold and my girls would be shaking in the water. Instructors do tend to call out often and would have to change schedules. Overall, I’m happy with the progress my girls are making.

Great instructor, great facility, great communication and my kids are progressing! Their website is user friendly and they always offer summer promotions that help you save.

Friendly staff, flexible schedule, great instructors. One problem is that the City Sport Club gym on Blossom Hill - Monterey Rd, San Jose where my daughter is coming has quite cold water for swimming pool. I dont know if instructors can tell manager of this gym to fix this.

I have used many swimming facilities but like Waterworks there is none better. Trevor, the manager, oversees operations professionally and train new instructors on a daily basis. The ambiance is friendly and I have made some friends here. They have three large pools. One just got renovated and the waters are clean! These kids learn to swim fast. Mine literally learned overnight ! Just love this environment.

One thing that stands out at Waterworks Aquatics is the flexibility they give you on scheduling the swim lessons. For example, if you need to cancel a lesson for some reason, they give you credit to schedule a makeup class. And you can do all these through their website.

Carrie has helped my daughter not only develop her confidence in swimming but also an interest in swimming competition. We didn’t realize that my daughter can actually complete a lap all by herself until the day she did her first back stroke competition! And she has been asking to do another competition since then. Way to go Carrie! Thank you so much!

My son enjoyed swimming. Fatemeh is a wonderful coach. When my son does not have a good understanding of swimming posture, she will be very patient and let my son try to understand in various ways. I am glad to see that my son is making progress a little bit. She is really professional and experienced, and is a very good coach!

Finally had the chance to sign my 5yr old child for swim classes the beginning of summer. I had only plan to pay for a few private lessons just to get my son started and go elsewhere for much cheaper lessons or even free lessons, but all the instructors are great and my son is doing very well. I see the advantage of continuing with these swim lessons for him and will be making my 3rd purchase of 18 lessons. The only complain I have is that the make up lessons are complicated and I don’t think any lessons should expire or become not valid if we can’t make it to the makeup lessons. My son is still in preschool so he gets sick often; however, I only had to cancel once out of the 32 lessons so far, and learned that if he misses the makeup, that we’ll lose that lesson. Fortunately, we made it to the makeup class. Things may also happen unexpectedly with little ones; I still feel that if we cancel before the expected 2 hour deadline, we should still be able to use that lesson for a future time.

The teachers are nice and its very fun. Also, the pool is very clean!

My kids have been how to swim well at this company. Teachers are nice but we keep changing teachers due to the turnover or teachers leaving.

My daughter’s coach Fatima is great. She has lots of experience and patience. My daughter improved significantly after taking her class and she has more confidence to swimming.

My daughter started taking swimming classes at 3 y.o. This is her second year, and she improved dramatically. Coach Amy is very patient, professional, and awesome. My daughter loves the class and is very confident in the water. She even jumps off diving board and swims on her own.

Instructors are okay. However the front desk is HORRIBLE with scheduling and communication. A couple of my semi-private sessions were rescheduled without notification. I only find out the day of, as my daughter and I are waiting for our instructor.

I really want to recommend Fatima, she is very professional trainer and very good with kids!!! My 5 year old had so much progress after starting the lessons with Fatima and for me is very important that he just loves coming here again and again!!

Nicholas is the best! Ive been trying to teach my 3 year old to float on her back for the last year. He had her floating on her own within the first 10 minutes of the class! He is so engaging and used a lot of positive feedback! I cant wait for my daughter to see him again! After her free play in the pool, my daughter ran to me and shouted, Mom! I love it here!

My family takes swimming lessons here, including me, and have had good results. The instructors all follow the same style so it is not a problem to switch if personalities dont match. I do have two issues, first is with water quality; it is important to shower immediately after to avoid infections. The second if that it is at times difficult to get the schedule and instructor you prefer, need to be more flexible.

Our son has been taking lessons for 6 years with Christine. She is amazing and we are so grateful. She has shown up to his meets, went longer on instructions and has become almost another member of the family. Today, our son is a nation Top 100 Breast Stroker. We look forward to greater successes in swimming and Waterworks will be a part of it.

Were only on lesson 4 of 8. And all they’ve done is try to get my son to put his face in the waterNothing else done it’s redicolous.

This place is AMAZING! We love the staff and the location is FABULOUS!!! My 2 year old daughter gets so excited whenever we pull in to the parking lot and is learning so much! I always felt swimming was an essential skill for a child to learn.

We have been going to Christine at Waterworks for four and a half years. All three of my children are water safe because of her. A true professional who knows her craft. Five stars are not enough! Very very happy with our experience at Waterworks with Miss Christine!!

Terrible experience with inexperienced instructors who had no idea how to teach a young toddler. No water safety taught and allowed a toddler who cannot swim to jump into deep water with no one near to help him resurface in a safe and controlled manner. Full complaint made and I did receive a refund for my remaining lessons. However I would highly discourage anyone from trying this swim school.

My daughter took 2 years of group lessons and still could not swim. Thanks to Waterworks Aquatics and the amazing coaches Ariel and Lindsey (truly genius when it comes to swim instruction) that has changed. Piper has gotten just the right amount of “push” she needed, but in a fun and nurturing way. We could not be happier with how Piper has progressed here. :-)

We had really a bad experience with this one in Irvine..Teachers are good but it is really organized very confusing, long line to talk to someone at the front desk, hard to talk over the phone with someone. Just one star from me. They can do much better.

After spending about $1,000 and reaching out to the front desk in person, then again via a survey and finally through my online account with them. I started reaching out in March after lesson 10. In May, someone finally got back to me. At that point after going twice a week for months, I had only 2 regular lessons left and 4 make up lessons. They had someone come and shadow my son for four lessons. It helped him stop swallowing so much water, which was leading to the health issues I had reached out about initially in March. My son didnt retain much of what they taught and stalled at level 3 for his entire time there. Not impressed at all for the money spent I expected *MUCH* more.

My wife and I are new to WaterWorks Aquatics in Irvine. As I write this, my 5-month old son has just finished 3 of his Parent & Me classes.We had a bit of a rocky start with WaterWorks Aquatics. When we first stopped in to pickup information about their Parent and Me classes. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. They set us up with an account, gave us some paperwork that included something we had to read/sign and turn back in and pricing. We were setup with a first, trial swim class for a day/time that we could commit to if we decided to buy a package and return regularly. We left very pleased and excited to return.Within about 2 days, we began receiving garbled phone messages from them about needing to pay for a package or they would give away our upcoming appointment. This seemed odd to us as we were told we wouldnt have to pay for anything yet. We tried returning the calls, but couldnt get ahold of someone in person until my third attempt. She insisted that we had already taken a sample lesson, reserved a spot (on a day/time that my wife and I would have never agreed to), failed to pay for it, and so they were giving the appointment to another couple. The girl I was talking to spoke over me often as I tried to explain to her our real situation, but finally seemed to listen once I started becoming frustrated. She blamed whomever setup the account for the confusion, and said she couldnt make the corrections herself. I was told that she would have to talk to someone else, but she promised to call me back within 20 minutes so that I knew if it had been corrected and we had our original appointment again (which we thought was scheduled for the very next morning). Two hours later, there was no callback from anyone. I tried to call them, was on an automated hold system for 10 minutes, and finally just left a message. We went in the next day, and they couldn’t find an appointment for us. However, this time we got a tour, and the woman who helped us was very kind in helping us reschedule.Within a few days, we had a call from a customer service person. She apologized profusely for the poor experience we had received. She researched the matter, and then further helped us make certain that our appointment was set. She even made sure that the first lesson was comped, and gave us the name of a girl we could checkin with for that first appointment.Since then, we’ve very much enjoyed our experience. The front staff at our location have been nothing but nice and helpful. We’ve signed up for a 20-pack of lessons with an instructor who seems incredibly friendly and encouraging. Best of all, our son seems to very much enjoy his time in the very comfortably warmed pool. He even gets excited when we first arrive and can’t wait to get in the water with mom or dad. My hope is that the rough start is far behind us, and we continue to enjoy and learn together as a family with Waterworks Aquatics.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have both my sons enrolled in their program and I am very happy about their progress. Javi is the instructor for both my sons and he is an amazing instructor. He is patient and very knowlegable and actually takes the time to go over the lesson after its done. Thank you Javi for all your care and your great work. We appreciate all your help. We definitely recommend this school to all out friends.

Kids with even two diapers should not be allowed in the pool. They have mishaps at least couple of times per week. Kind of disgusting!! Told them about it. The man behind the counter didt care much about it as if this is the way it is, take it or leave it !!

I went here for the very first time last week for a swim playdate with Mom & Tot OC. We were in a group with about 10 parents and 10 toddlers. I was very impressed! All of the girls at the front desk were very friendly when we checked in and quick! We were given a tour of the facility and introduced to our instructors prior to getting in the water.The facility is immaculate and much bigger than it looks from the outside. There are family bathrooms which are perfect if you have little ones like I do. There is also a bathing suit dryer. There are a couple of pools and they are all nice and warm! I love the decorations hanging from the ceiling! They were a hit with my little ones.Jacqueline and Trevor were our instructors. I used to be a swim instructor and coach so naturally I was skeptical. They were both excellent! They were very hands on with the toddlers, very patient, gentle, and extremely informative. They had loud voices too which made it easy to hear them. They explained every step before we did it, like counting to 3 and saying under before putting your kids head under, then came around to each parent after to watch us do it, and answer questions. They were very attentive every step of the way.I was hesitant about joining for 2 reasons....I was concerned about water in the ears and ear infections. Trevor explained to me that for most kids, the water comes right out, there is no need to go home and do anything extra. He was right! My kids were fine! I was also hesitant that my little ones were too young for swim lessons. I learned that they can start as soon as the umbilical cord comes off! The staff is extremely knowledgeable.My 11 month old twins, my husband, and I all had such a great first experience! This was our first time doing swim lessons and putting our little ones heads all the way under. We were sent home with adorable goody bags with onesies inside! We are signing up for more lessons this week.

The place is very crowded on weekends, but we still like it. They do lessons starting from 3 months old and the water temp is 85 degrees.
