People were being careful and wearing their masks and keeping a safe distance. This seems to be a nice place to go get some fresh air and see nature and still be safe. The place is as beautiful as its always been. Just dont start eating right by the water because the seagulls will swarm.

Its a sort of scenic area where the Irondequoit Bay opens out to Lake Ontario. Its a peaceful and relaxing spot to see lots of water fowl, but it would be nice if it could be spruced up.

This is a great place to walk your dog. Not a lot of other dogs on trail. So if your dog is socially unacceptable to other four legged creatures, this is a low attendance rate of dogs on trail. Its a trail that is worth trying. Its either uphill or downhill. You pick if you want to start at top and have an easy walk down the trail. Coming back up the trail is easy for most people. Not a steep climb. Very pretty area. Nice openings to view Bay. Could use some benches for those who need a small stop to look around and rest. Watch out for bicyclist coming downhill. Keep your dog on one side of the trail so bikers arent at risk of hitting your dog or you. They come down fast most times. Never had a problem as long as I keep my dog on one side. Very few people pick up the pets poop. So stay on the trail or watch the ground. It has large open grassy areas for playing with your dog or flying a drone or something like that.

I LOVE this place. You can just sit in your car and watch the bay. The boats....the ducks with their babies..... the geese and their young...... this year there are even two swans with four babies. They will come up and eat out of your hand.

It used to be nicer but now it is populated with low class people who are drunk and/or high most of the time, and make excessive noise. A lot of trash and litter everywhere.

I moved to Webster from Minneapolis Minnesota so I love going to the lake, but in past years it has changed but some of the issues could be fixed by the town and Mr Nesbit for instance have a designated place for dogs its no fun having dog poop everywhere you walk even close to the picnic tables, and where the children play besides its a health issue. I have no issue with the owners and therir dogs but make the grounds around the lake a place of serenity and beauty!

Ni
Review №21

People are all about themselves, especially jetskiers! You need to wait your turn before coming off the water! No cars shouldnt be in the parking spots for trailers!

Theres a great paved path along the edge of this park with a few scenic views of the Irondequoit Bay and the Bay Bridge. Canadian geese, blue heron, and sea gulls galore in the protected wetlands. At the north edge is a public boat launch and parking for boat trailers. Youll find fisher people spring, summer and fall, and ice fisher people in winter on the frozen bay. Views of sailboats and motor boats traveling back and forth through the inlet from Lake Ontario to Bay occurs Apr 1-Nov 1 when the swing bridge is open. During winter when the swing bridge is back in place, Culver Rd. In Irondequoit becomes Lake Rd in Webster providing another access point between the two towns. This park is south of the beach and pier that the other people are writing about.

Its really nice good place to walk around there is a pier that you can walk out and look at the boat sailing.I would have given it 5 Stars if the beach itself had been cleaned off and Im talking about driftwood. It was fairly clean as far as litter and garbage I didnt see much of any but the Driftwood and and other things washed up on the beach detracted just a little bit

Free, easy to get to. It is FULL of seagulls so be wary of getting pooped on from above. But they are not afraid of people so you can get pretty close for a few good shots.

It is what it is... a public boat launch, seasonal bridge, pier (2 actually) and outlet from Irondequoit Bay to Lake Ontario. Fishing is okay depending on time of year. Fall is by far best fishing as fish look to swim from lake through bay to Irondequoit Creek. Nothing bad to say about this park.
