Riverfront Crossings Park

Decent lighting at night time so that you can walk your dog. Wonderful all natural playing area for the kids, including a zip line! But only four stars because I feel like they are missing a dog park! So many dog owners in the apartment complexes nearby.

This is great place to go walking biking or do any sports activity. Side walk are wide and flat. River is in the west side of the park and this part of the river is great spot for fishing. Big Grove Brewery is on the East side of the park which make it amazing place close to great food. Very bright at night which make you feel safe even at night. It has Nice play ground for the kids and amazing zip line, but the only issue is the the metal separators at the play ground which make me concern if any one falls down on them.

Very unique and great park. Great area, overall very happy I brought my family there. Large sidewalks for walking or bike riding and several paths to go. Didnt seem like it would be an overly busy place

Mid-size park with walking/biking paths, river views, kids playground. Limited rest room facilities due to city decision to keep most closed. Limited shade.

The park is beautiful and the bathrooms are open at the city park bathrooms have not been open call the city manager of Parks and recreation I was not pleased on what she had to say she needs to go out of her office and go to these the parks and make sure restrooms are open

Nice for walking and biking. Wide trail along Iowa river.

This is a great park. The wide open areas are great for fling kites, playing soccer, football, or just to sunbathe. The only thing wrong would be no bathrooms close to the playground.

Best park in Iowa City by far! The zipline is great fun for both kids& kids at heart to try!

Nice new park another good dog walking park. Trail attaches it to terry true blood park as well if your up to walk longer.as of yet the new grass is kinda dead but some rain may fix that? Play area is nice for kids.i think on occasion it smells but that may be in my head do to what the sight used to be.plenty of paved paths to ride bikes roller blade etc.

Kids loved this park.

We can’t wait for the grand opening on July 20th! It’s going to be so beautiful. This park is also built from sustainable materials. So when it floods again, everything is able to be easily restored using little energy, time and effort. Iowa City sure has some amazing parks! Our dog really enjoyed it.

My little guy loved walking around. We had so much fun going on the swing. Hes terrified of swings so the one where we can both swing is amazing.

Great play equipment!

Not a good park for families due to bathrooms being far from play area and ended up being locked. Also, on hot days there is not shade.

Great little park. My daughter calls it the wrap your legs around it park because of the little Zipline things. Right on the bike trail and near several restaurants, its a great location to spend some time with the family

Beautiful area next to a creek, lots of fun activities and kinetic play for all ages.

Awesome park. It keeps getting better every day. I Love watching it evolve. Nice wide paths for everyone to move comfortably around.

Huge park, lots of natural spaces. Trees will grow to give us shade, and cant wait until the public art is installed at the roundabout.

Open park with the river running beside it with a beautiful hill in the center that is prime for star gazing!

Great place for fun, and just goofing around with friends.

If youre looking for a park that is different from the typical swings and slides this is the place. My kids love to climb the giant boulders and go on the Zipline.

Good to bring kids there to play

The kids love the zip line. It was worth the money that was spent on it.

Riverfront Crossings Park is quickly becoming Iowa City’s signature urban park, adjacent to Big Grove Brewery and is just a quick 10 minute walk or bike ride to downtown. The winding trails are connected to the Iowa River Corridor Trail and feature LED trail lighting, meaning your late night run or bike ride won’t be cut short. A newly-expanded Ralston Creek is easily accessible for kids and families to splash around in. I love the new urban design of the park shelter.A large green zipline is great for kids and adults and the climbing boulders and nature play area are the only ones like it in town. Future improvements will include signage, outdoor lawn games, dog park, and water trails.

Pretty cool park. Cant wait for it to be finished.

Great atmosphere with lots of nice, new playground equipment for children.

There is a lot of constructions going on right now. It looks like a large park. After completion, I am sure it will be the main attraction of city. It is located really close to city. It will perfect place for family spend thier weekend in coming days. According to roadmap, they will have lots of fun activists. I am excited to visit this park in near future.

Accessible and great fun! Once shade trees grow in, we could easily spend an entire afternoon here.
