Brush and Barrel

I LOVE this place! The staff are so much fun! The paintings are great for anyone at any level of painting!

This is an amazing business. I emailed them about days on their calendar that are TBA and was not only given a pretty quick response but a very kind reply. They asked if we had an ideas that they could take into count...didn’t promise they would do it, but you don’t see companies willing to hear your thoughts a lot. They also thanked us for having just an interest in their business and said if they did pick one of our ideas there was still no pressure to join the class. It was over all a great experience.

Fun activity! Instructor was very helpful when we wanted to try something other than what she was doing. She found different brushes, colors and stencils to use. Wine was tasty and whole experience was a 5/5!

I contacted Dori to host a bachelorette party wine and canvas class at Brush and Barrel on 9/8. Emily and Cindy were fabulous hosts and we definitely enjoyed the studio and painting instruction! The staff is so kind and professional. The studio is spacious and clean. I would highly recommend using Brush and Barrel in Coralville. We look forward to coming back soon!

I highly recommend coming to any one! Im no artist by any means, but I was able to follow the instructor and have a blast! Emilee and her helper made everything so clear and easy to understand! Will be back with more people.

If youve never been, I highly recommend it. The instructors have an incredible talent for teaching those not artistically inclined (ie. Myself) how to paint masterpieces that look like the original. No stress, no criticism; just sit back, sip some wine and paint.

I had a really fun time, and for my first-ever painting, I can actually display it at home.

I had so much fun creating a painting that I really love! It definitely was challenging at times since I have hardly painted for over ten years, but the art teacher instructed on painting techniques. It was very interesting to see others interpretations of the painting we were all copying. I was part of a bachelorette party, and I could tell others were with small groups of friends or came by themselves. They have wine, beer, and pop, with your first drink being free. Brush & Barrel supplies everything you need to paint, including an apron to wear, paintbrushes, paint, canvas, easel, and blow-dryers to dry your paint faster. Easy parking in their shared parking lot. I will be back!
