Great soul food menu. Good portions and reasonable prices. Visited this establishment midweek. Mature crowd and casual atmosphere. The jazz is very good with some excellent musicians. I happened to catch Smitty Smith and was thoroughly entertained. We had appetizers which were much better than expected.

I have a good time when I come here, the staff is pretty cool with the exception of the bartenders. The music is very good plenty of songs to dance ave chair bop to.

I reserved a table in one of their tasting bays (for free!) to celebrate a birthday and just had friends open their own tabs. The contract says theres a one drink per person minimum, but I didnt feel as though it was strictly regulated and it definitely wasnt hard for our party to meet that. :)

I have to admit that I only came here for drinks on this visit, but I definitely want to go back for dinner. The look of this restaurant is so AMAZING! Clean, contemporary lines. Nice tables upstairs for dinner, but a very cool lounge area downstairs. The drink list was great as well, and I absolutely loved my kiwi-prosecco mixed drink. It seemed a bit pricey for my taste, but nothing too out of the ordinary for San Francisco. It was definitely a scene type of place so if thats not your thing...beware!

I was there for a comedy show and had a really good time. The club have 2 sides as you come in.. the show was to the left and another sitting area to the right with a bar located in the middle.It appeared that you could rent this venue for your event or special occasion. The night I was there the production company holding the event seem to have their own staff that prepared the food, so Im not certain if they have their own staff or not. Again I think its more of a hall that you can rent. At any rate the venue was set up nicely and had adequate space. The stage area was the perfect size for our comedy.. which made it intimate yet obvious it was a stage with goood lightening on the stage and minimal light on the audience.Parking can be a bit tricky. The Lavender Blue, from what I could see had a small parking lot with maybe 12 spots.. Which were all taken upon my arrival, however I did get lucky and found a spot on the street directly across the street. There is street parking on both sides of the street. But if youre going you may want to get there on time or a bit early.One more thing to note.. on the night I was there the Forum was having an event and made traffic a nightmare. Just plan your escape in the event there is something at the Forum that night.Overall I must say that I truly enjoyed my night at the Lavender Blue.

Great vibes all over. Food is exquisite. Do yourselves a favor a try everything on the menu! I had dinner and drinks on a Thursday and it so happened they had a small jazzy bad. Enjoyed the whole experience. I also do order delivery from time to time and my go to is the jambalaya burrito

Its not a place to get rowdy, but more of a great place to just lounge and drink around. There lots of individuals on dates here, mostly and after work drinks.

Love this place. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent staff, delicious food and drink. I first heard of 25 Lusk through the SF Green Biz network....I really appreciate their commitment to sustainability - to me, that makes everything taste even better.

I love the general vibe at this joint, whether its a Sunday night or the default party nights on Friday/Sat, there will always be something fun and exciting happening. Since I just moved to the bay area, I have been searching for a place with African music and my hunt ended when I discovered Baobab. The music variety will keep any reveler on their toes! Oh did I also mention that they have TUSKER beer? If you are Kenyan or East African you know what am talking about!

Definitely has that Local Edition vibe going for it but a little more casual. Drinks were very tasty but they can certainly have a bit more variety especially of the more fruity/girly type. The big open space and split levels makes the space very cool and a little different. Id definitely come back and see how the place evolves and makes its mark on SOMA.

My husband and I went here to check the lounge out for pre birthday dinner drinks. We were very impressed by the bar bites and the wine list! I had a dirty martini and my husband enjoyed a manhattan. Both drinks were strong and well prepared.

They serve big portions and for fair pricing. super friendly staff members. 5 stars.

Nice place to hang out with friends. Nice atmosphere with DJ and live music. The food was pretty good and not too pricey. I had the Catfish plate and was satisfied. There is a old school crowd until about 10pm. All in all I had a good time and would go again.

Came here for a drink Friday evening- Love the modern yet warm decor. The fireplaces adds a romantic feel to the lounge--the service was friendly.

Where do I start with this night club? This venue captured my attention from the outside already due to the brightly-lit SF Giants colorway sign Lavender Blue Restaurant Lounge.

Met up with a friend on a Sunday evening . It is my understanding that Lavender Blue opens at 6pm.Had a good time. Clean bathroom, personable staff, dancing floor, nice small menu, good prices, and good drinks. It is my understanding that certain nights have a theme. Such as Soul Food Night. Call ahead for the theme nights, opening and closing times. Nice seating areas. Parking is on the street, limited parking on the site. Note: Across the street, there is public parking. Im sorry I did not love it well it got one good star and thats because the drinks was good however to get the drinks I had to wait a whole 30 minutes to catch a waitress. Then the next thing was she had kind of an attitude because I wanted to order some food I ordered my food and waited for an hour and 45 minutes. I couldnt believe it she gave me the check before she gave me my food I didnt get that part.

Soooo much fun! The appetizers were delicious. Very entertaining and I will visit again.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is super friendly and vulgar at the same time. The piano men had most tunes down, I do wish they knew ALL the words to tiny dancer but Im old school. They did know all the most recent tunes and good ol Garth! The drinks werent too week and after 2 drinks I had a good buzz.

We use to go to the Cork but it closed down from losing their liquor license from my understanding. We were trying to find another place to get our groove on. However, this place seems to cater to private parties and isnt really a dance club or lounge but more like a limited restaurant. They had a decent dance area. The menu was shallow. The music was good for old school which is in our age group. Some hole in the wall clubs are good and this one has potential however were still looking. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Quick happy hour. Wait staff were friendly even though kitchen was closing early.Thursdays are early closure days.

I was hear to check the place out due to a wine tasting and we are introducing a new product. I love the ambiance, the music and energy of the people that are coming in, the sever is very nice and we just found out shes the daughter of the owner. The chicken wings that we had is the Best chicken Ive ever hadz it taste fresh and properly cooked and I love the rub on the skin of the chicken. I highly reccomenf this place

Ordered the chicken kabob (souvlaki) plate and the filet mignon kabob (souvlaki) plate with the hummus dip. Ive never been to the Mediterranean so the only measure Ive had is going by the restaurants in America. The best one Ive been to so far is Janets in Duarte. The food at Georges is good Id give it a 10 out of 10.

Great place to meet new friends and greet old ones. Nice atmosphere for Happy hour, Taco Tuesday, birthday parties, holiday partues, comedy shows, cocktails. Female and Black Owned business. Marsha stays in the kitchen to be sure that fried chicken and mac n cheese is on hit.

The customer service is constantly efficient, fantastic ambience, nice staff. I will come back again when I get in the area.

FantasticFridays are always on point. Excellent DJs, hypeman and atmosphere. This isnt a club, its an experience for those with positive vibes and a love for the divine dancefloor. Dress comfortably, be careful walking in but most importantly check your attitude at the door.

I wish I was able to give this place no stars!!! We had a catered event at this place and the service was awful!!! First off they only had two servers and they were rude and lazy. Secondly they tried to hide and put the food up an hour into our six hour window. Third they wouldnt give us any ice!!!! If you want somewhere nice to hold a social event this is not the place!!!
