I went here for a private party and it was the best night! Everyone working there was really nice and the skates fit well and the floor was clean.

Great fun for the kids good music and food the only down side would be not all the games work took quite a bit of our tokens other then that great fun

I am a regular here for the Thursday night adult sessions.... been going for the past 8 years. In that time Ive witnessed a change in management (thank the creator!!), the rink FINALLY getting a new floor & new employees. I keep coming back because its my favorite rink in the city & Ive made several friends here & have made tons of cherished memories. I would HIGHLY recommend SKATELAND for their adult & family nights. My ONE & ONLY complaint is the food is pretty awful...like yuckeroni! I dont come for the food but if you do this is just an FYI

Fun especially on someone birthday the birthday boy or girl get to go in there ticket mising and try to grab as much ticket as they can and they grt a lot of tickets too

This is a place I June we normally go to roller skate I would like to see this place Implement Maybe and more bigger skating floor add some lights and add some things to this facility which will updated for those theyve been coming a long time. Ive been skating since 2000 up until currently in a spent a lot of money in this place and so have a lot of people that I know I think its old to the community and also to the people who have dedicated their whole lives into this phone activity none as skating. For some of us this is our lives this is what we breathe this is what we love its a poetry in art for some of us. I really hope to see some changes in 2020 to make this place better to make it more family-friendly and Moore welcomed. But also a place where those who have invested so many memories and time and money there well be able to look back and say thank you

Came here from the 80s until the late 90s. Great memories. However, like Lafayette Square Mall, it became ghetto. Would not go back. This place went WAY down hill. Rudeness, break-ins, and violence. They say for family. Yeah right! Nasty place. So sad, it became this way.

I miss those adult night sessions on thurs and Sunday nights. Covid shutdown. Hopefully its able to get going soon. Mask & hand sanitizer every lap for sure. The dj is great those nights. Hes got a lot of soul and good timing.

Pure nostalgia I grew up at United Skates East and when I stepped into the United West I felt like I was at home, to me this is what the rink should be. I recently discovered Skateland does adult night which got me out to the west side. These skaters are amazing! Shout out to all the Indy talent! This rink gets packed and the busy adult sessions are Sunday night and its more laid back on Thursday night.

I took my 9 yr. old it was her choice. She is learning to skate she had a good time. The music was upbeat, it was clean,the staff was very polite and very watchful. I took for the holiday out of school. I will take her next time on a Saturday afternoon.

Admissions charged our group much differently than others attending. How did we know? Cause moms help moms. Apparently, theres no accuracy on price and events on their website. Instead you have to be part of their Facebook group page. #failspace

Quite the workout! My only wish is that the DJ would consider playing more funky music. Hes got a cool rotation, Id love him to throw in some music with crazy bass, guitar and piano! Also, the $9 price could stand go be lowered. Going back anyway...

Expensive for 2 kids. And just out right raised prices now I know why. People have parties at chuckie cheese. Think about prices. And offer a family. Pack. Or some kind of a deal if i were you a manager i would. Revamp that rink. And lower prices.

My kids really enjoyed themselves. The teens behind the counter were very polite and helpful. The only negative thing is the volume of the music playing was extremely loud. Louder than ANY other rink weve been to..

Its a good place to skate at & they even have skating lessons for adults on Saturdays but be prepared for a crowd.

They were under staffed it tool forever to get skates. Then I was next in line and they pulled some young girls from behind us to help them. Then it felt like they were rushing everyone out.

This is one of the well known rinks in the city. I have been skating there since i was a kid and its amazing. They give great deals on parties and they do fundraisers for schools and kids. The parents love bringing their kids there for $2 Tuesday and the adults even get to have a great time on Tuesday and Thursday nights +18. I became rally good there with my skating skills.

Good skates, Nice floor, Great DJ, Family environment, Just wish the lockers worked.

The kids had fun. Its been a while since weve been there. I like the remodeling that theyve done. The prices are a bit high tho. Next time when I go Ill use coupons.

Had a great time skating again (after not doing it for 30+ years). Floor is still in good condition, rental gear was good, and the people - both employees & skaters - were courteous & friendly. A fun night out!

Very over priced and unprofessional. No one was at the door to greet anyone except for a angry security guard who just looked at us didn’t even greet us. We had to find someone so that we could get skate rental which took about 6 mins due to no one being in uniform and they weren’t busy at all. They are only open for the money. They charged $8 to get in (all ages are the same price) and $4 for skate rental. The skate session was Sunday from 3pm-6pm. They stopped letting people in at 5pm but they don’t close until 6pm. They stopped playing music at 5:30/5:40pm so that the children could clean up (not the staff the children). They put you out at 5:55pm. None of their staff were in uniform so you couldn’t tell who worked there and who didn’t because all but one were on skates skating. They charge money for 95% of their prize section (not tickets which is what comes out of their machines once you win a game which is also over priced). My all experience at this place was horrible. I will never be back and I wouldn’t recommend you waste your money.

Skateland was great! The quarter machine was broken though, and another machine only gives tokens. WATCH OUT! They wont refund your $5 bucks. But we did have a great time.

If u dont mind your toes being ran over by little one then youll love this place. My kids always have a blast when the go. The food there is ok for what it is, but the price is a bit much. Over all its a pretty cool place. The main thing i didnt like was the armed security. If this place is for kids they shouldnt have a guy walking around with a gun openly on his hip. He was nice, but still hide it under your shirt or something!

Good place for family fun. The old Skateland got a face lift. The floor has been done. The skates we got today were in good shape. Even the food taste different. We see good improvements. If the music would only change. We go to the morning session mostly because is not as packed, but some of the music they play shouldnt be heard by children.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had here. We were turned around because we didn’t have our own skates. They said they were out of skates, but from the door we could see shelves full of skates. Then they claimed they were full. But steady letting people in that had their own skates.

Booked a party online about 10 days ago and paid my $50 deposit. Have called during business hours to get a recording for party planner and never a call back. Have used the contact us twice as of tonight, and still no response. At this point we dont even want to go there based on service, I should have read the reviews before losing my $50. If I could give a zero I would.

Took my daughter and her cousin for the princess poppy back to school skate today 8/10/19. First time visiting this rink.The sour: We got there at 11:02, opening manager/supervisor hadnt arrived yet, concessions werent set up, they were unable to take payments for admission and skate rental until around 11:10-11:15 I think, and by the time we left at around 1 pm the event hadnt occurred. Really thankful I didnt mention the princess poppy part to my kid so she wasnt let down. I hope this was a one off because my kid and her cousin would like to visit with eachother more often and taking them skating is an affordable option for us.That said, the good: the staff was kind and helpful and did the best they could under the circumstances, the pizza was actually pretty good for concession pizza, my kid and her cousin and I had a fun so Im not mad or too upset about the bumps in the road at opening and the lack of the event, but getting the rink open on time and adhering to the promised event is an area that could be improved. My daughter is a little too young for prime time Friday / Saturday night time skates yet so I really hope this was a one off and Ill be able to update this review in the future without constructive criticism.

The only reason I give it one star is because I know two people who work there that gave me great service. I took my daughter to the Skateland for a play date. Now I listen to hip hop and rap music but I filter that for my six year old. I know there may be some of that music played but the schedule said from 2-4:30pm was 100.9 Family Music. They played rap music and a little hip hop. When my daughter asked for them to play kid music they told her they will play what they want. This is a place supposed to be catering to our children. I did not like the service I received by the DJ. My daughter wanted her party here but I wish I would give Skateland another dollar.

I loved skating here! I am new to this but I had a really great time even though Im trash at skating.

This was my first & last time having a birthday party at this location. The host i was assigned kept disappearing. && the manager Maquesha said because she has 2 parties. The food was horrible. They didnt have any wings or chicken tenders. They claimed the cotton candy machine was down. I purchased a soda out of the machine for 2.50 and it was expired dated april 2019. They did not have a knife or ice cream scooper. The host asked if i brought a knife. Like who carries around a knife. This was the worst experience EVER! Then the manager Maquesha said she would adjust the pay, but then turned around and said shes not. Its so dirty and nasty in there. Too many young kids working there with no customer service experience. I will be calling the state because the cook never washed her hands. Do not come here its the worst.

I really disliked this place. The music is definitely not for children. The people are rude. I got a skate rental to help my daughter. turns out it wasnt easier to help her so after having them for only 10 minutes I was refused a refund. I ordered a pizza and they said 5-10 minutes I check twice by the time it was read a half hour later it was made incorrect. I canceled my order and left. I wont be back.

I love to go on Tuesday nights because I can take my nieces and nephews and the price is cheap and the youth can communicate with others one day Ima go so I can learn how to skate on Saturdays

I use to frequent this location years ago when I lived within 5 miles of this place when it was USA and it was fantastic. I’m just getting back into skating so decided to go to on two dollar Tuesday. Awesome prices, however I did not realize it was overrun by teenagers and 20 somethings on a mid week day. Make sure your insurance premium is paid before you go if you’re not an advanced skater. The advanced skaters will literally push you out the way and I do mean push with the intent to knock you down to the ground if they think you’re in their way. I know rink etiquette so I know to stay closer to the middle, but that doesn’t matter they will still literally push you out of the way. Oh and the poor one rink guard, he’s too busy helping pick up kids off of the floor and their carts from rolling your way so you don’t have to jump a hurdle obstacle while you’re skating he definitely couldn’t have done anything about the grown skaters that obviously weren’t taught manners as people let alone etiquette as skaters. The music was night club not skate music so it attracts just as many dancers as it does skaters so the dancers will present another level of obstacles running across the floor at all times or stand by the floor exits waiting to cross back and forth. If rules were enforced it would be a better experience, but once they have your money you’re at their mercy. Only go if you’re young or into the whole dare devil thing. Otherwise I suggest you find somewhere else unless you need injury time off from work

The employees are friendly. The new sound system they couldnt stop touting is too loud. 85+ decibels the whole night. This cant be healthy for the employees who should be wearing ear protection to work here. It was miserable.

Skating rink and music great.Staff rude and lazy! Asked for help with arcade maching taking my money and the manager looked at me and said...can u give me a min....with this getto attitude while filling out paperwork. Then another manager who actually has customer service skills walked by and asked if I have been helped and then the other lady actually came to help me. Bathroom door lock doesnt work, no toilet paper in the bathroom. No one behind the game winning counter to be able to turn in whast we won. Took neice here for her bday! What a terrible experience with the staff!

6/8/19 my son and his best friend had their combined 9th birthday party at skateland and it was a true amazing experience. Ive been visiting there since I was a kid, but this is the first time hosting a birthday party there. Shelby the party organizer and coordinator was very helpful in scheduling and making sure we were aware of everything and taken care of, this even with having to reschedule the week before our party because of a family emergency out of town. On the day of the party our party host assigned to our tables were Makayla and Keyara and they were wonderfully attentive, made sure the kids always had drinks available, on time with food and serving cake, cleaning up etc. They stayed on every thing, I did not have to lift a finger. The manager even came over checking on us throughout the party also making sure all was going well. I truly appreciate the staff at Skateland and their attentiveness throughout our whole event. We will DEFINITELY be hosting again! My son said he had the best day ever!

Its a nice skating facility overall. The only problems that we run into is its more of a teen young adult crowd ... lot of drama and language so no my as young kid friendly as I would prefer

Great place for family night

The adult skate night was great all the other skaters were kind and they were so skilled that it definitely inspires me to learn from them. One thing weird is that the security guards have guns. That makes me a little uncomfortable.

Most of the games didnt work. All of the staff members were children (teenagers) except for one. Music was funky. The words were playing faster than the beat to ALL of the songs.

Best Place in Indy! Its Still a Fun Place to go I Never had no Bad Experiences going to there Just having fun. Its always lit there! ‎ Love the Icee Slushie drinks too. Overall Fun skating rink.

The staff today was great. Very attentive to guests needs. The pizza was good and music was fun.The only downside was a couple of the games were inoperable and had to ask for token refund.
