My husband and I came here a month ago. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Our server was excellent and made our experience very enjoyable. The server helped with our selection of cigars and came to check on our area frequently which was nice. We will definitely be coming back to visit!!!!

You can relax and smoke cigars here. They seat you in areas and you have to leave a credit card on file if you go with a few people. Cigars & drinks are pricey and it gets very smoky, hard to see and your eyes can start burning. The ventilation system is very poor. On the weekends after 8pm there is a cover $5 per person. I have been here a few times because its close wish they would make some changes.

Ahhh, my new 2nd home. So glad to have found this place in walking distance from where I stay when Im in town. Cigars, cocktails, food, and ambience in spades. Plus incredible service!

My wife and I were in Indy to get away from Columbus for a few days. We had a great time, enjoyed the food, the beverages and the cigars. Brian, our bartender provided great conversation as well.

I enjoyed the bar, it has a very interesting retro vibe. A very dark interior with fireplaces and crushed velvet. They also sell cigars so they place smells s bit like smoke. The drink selection was good, not great but the bartender had superior knowledge and made a good cocktail for me. They had a small menu just a few things to nibble on.

I couldnt stay long but I saw all the makings of a great old school cigar speakeasy. The decor, the lighting, the music were all what Id like to have to enjoy a good cigar. Look very much forward to my next visit!

This place is a model for great customer service. No restaurant or bar in all of central Indiana has better servers or bartenders.

Your experience starts with a few flights of stairs that take you well below the street level. As you travel lower and lower you know something unique is waiting. The room has a dark and sexy warmth to it. The sitting areas are leather couches that feel like your favorite chair in your home has a distant cousin that found permanent residence with Nicky Blaine. The couch backs are low enough you can put you arm on the top and really melt into the furniture. The white marble table tops add visual contrast that will highlight your brown beverage of choice. Knowledgeable staff of both cigars and liquors. You should have an extra set of clothes in your suitcase and a bag to but them in after your visit because they will be fantastically seasoned with smoke. The air can get dense with smoke that will leave a great impression on your clothes that will remind you of a delightfully sensory filled evening.

This place is nothing like the old one. Theyre rude, they hate that they have to serve black people and theyre mad that 45 got fired. Save the black dollar and find another spot to chill. No class.

This place is very nice but if you cant handle smoke from cigarettes and cigars I definitely wouldnt recommend it. Its so neat, but my lungs are still hurting from the second hand smoke 3 days later. thats the only reason why Im giving it 4 stars and it is a cigar bar by the way so I guess I really shouldnt be complaining...haha

About as classic old school cocktail lounge as you will find in North America. Dark wood and heavy drapery in a basement location replete with cigars and classic cocktails and skilled mixologists. It definitely reminded me of classy bars from the days of yore

Took my son for his 21st birthday, was definitely worth it. Cover charge seemed a bit much considering I was going to a lounge and not a night club, it cheapened the whole experience.

This one is simple: if you like cigar lounges then you can have a great time. Brooke really knows her cigars and makes brilliant recommendations regardless of your cigar knowledge. The lighting is dim, the leather is comfy, and the drinks are proper. In a word, its swank.

Never been to a cigar lounge and I hope they are all like this one. You walk downstairs into this very nice room with low lighting. There are leather couches and chairs everywhere, with TVs to watch all the games. The server made great suggestions for cigars and cocktails. It was very nice to sit in there, drink a cocktail, smoke a cigar, watch a game, and have a great conversation. Really enjoyed this place!

Joshua and I stopped by to smoke a NUB I bought their prior to today’s visit. Had a couple of shots of whiskey, and the bartender gave us a shot of the real good stuff, WOO! tip your bartender if their cool, Mike was cool.

I’ve always enjoyed Nicky Blaine’s. I loved the Komo Komo. And the waitress suggested the side car in a martini glass with the sugar rim and I was in heaven. It was perfect. Can’t wait to attend again. Keep the music upbeat with the old school funky rock music. :)I’ve only had a bad experience once, but it was because of another table. And the staff handled it very well.

Excellent overall experience. The staff were very friendly, the music was softly playing overhead, giving my table plenty of opportunity to be able to hear each other speak.All in all, I would definitely come back.

My girlfriend and I took a random trip to downtown Indy and decided to walk into this place. I must say that this establishment was a real treat. They have an extensive liquor/cocktail menu, a great cigar selection as well as small plate offerings. We enjoyed a couple Martinis which were crafted expertly and enjoyed a fine cigar. The ambiance was dark with plenty of space and seating sectioned so that privacy could be maintained. We sat in the main room yet it still felt as if we were in our own little enclave away from everyone else. The seating is very comfortable as well as properly maintained and clean. The location is unbeatable and this is one of the finest cigar/cocktail lounges I have ever seen. They are open very late which makes it a great choice for a late night treat. Easy walking distance from many of the downtown hotels. Will definitely make it a priority to come back the next time we visit downtown Indy.

Great cigar selection and fairly good cocktails. Wish there were more specialty drinks given it is supposed to be an upscale bar but honestly never disappointed. Moscow mule was served in an actual copper mug so kudos for authenticity. Dont always have the cash for this but worth a special occasion.

Old school Lounge, dark, wood paneled, leather over stuffed chais & couches & cigars, this us my kinda place. The service is top notch & food excellent though, it is just appetizers not a full blown restaurant.

Cover charge to get in and NOTHING going on?! Overpriced drinks. We paid $13 for an old fashioned that was mediocre. St. Elmos offers a FANTASTIC old fashioned for the same price and no cover.

We were out of town for a trade show, stopped here after dinner with some associates and was told my business partners couldn’t be served after one drink. We were having a quite conversation to ourselves and ordered another drink and was told two of us couldn’t drink anymore. Now understand we are very prestigious business men and the two that were told this have been visiting here for the past 15 years. The manager was rude and very hostile when discussing why he had asked my friends to leave and stop drinking. I believe the real problem was we had ordered, payed our tab and was peacefully enjoying our time until this happened. The manager and the door man were very rude and confrontational trying to start a fight when we politely were leaving. Worst experience ever and the manager was lucky I was nice tonight and didn’t make him eat his teeth. Worst customer service and experience in my life. I will stand in front of the door and tell everyone how sorry this place is and not to do business with them!!!!

This is the best place to unwind after a long week. The cocktails are excellent and theres a wide selection of cigars on hand. The ambiance is sombre and the seating arrangement is relaxing.

Nicky Blaines has an excellent selection of cigars and whiskey. Super comfortable and a good choice for either a group or alone. My only suggestion would be to have the large rock type ice for whiskey. Service is excellent too.

Good cigar lounge if visiting and staying downtown. Clean and good selection. Loses a star for no coffee and below average bar. I should deduct a start for being in Indianapolis but they cant help that. I dont think they know better.

There is a lot of attitude by the staff here. A lot! Isnt the customer always right? Why so argumentative about everything? One nice lady very good. I think she is the floor manager and is probably training others.

My favorite spot downtown! One of VERY few places to have a quality drink/cocktail and be able to have a conversation without shouting.If you don’t like cigar smoke don’t do here!!!There’s supposed to be a few charged for bringing your own cigars in, I’ve never been charged for it though, but I also have a sizable bar bill at the end of my stay.Fun fact: very common to see celebrities / professional athletes / etc here. I’ve sat next to or across from NFL and NBA players and coaches, while friends of mine have said to see visiting musicians and comedians. All of which have been very approachable and nice when saying hello.

This place is pretty cool, I popped in here for a little bit before my dinner reservation and loved it so much I came back after dinner. I had a few hypnotinis, which were delicious. I loved the atmosphere, very relaxed and easy going. I don’t smoke, but it is a cigar bar too. It was pretty neat to see their huge selection of cigars though. Overall, I had a nice time here and would def go back.

I came here for the first time with my husband and his friends celebrating someones birthday (All in our 20s) It was later on a Saturday night and wasnt too busy. I dont smoke anything and I did not think the smoke was overwhelming, after a brief time I didnt even notice it, but it probably helped that the place wasnt very busy. We had excellent service. The atmosphere is awesome for hanging around with good friends. The couches and chairs are comfy!

Taking into consideration how busy downtown was Tonight during motorcycles on meridian, the service was still poor. Waited 45 min between drinks and an hour to get our bill. They definitely did not staff accordingly.

They have good drinks on the menu. And its a great place to hang out on a date or a business meeting. There are couches and tables as well as a bar.

My favorite bar in Indy! Nice spot for a scotch and a cigar. Dark and quiet, a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
