I went with some friends tonight and it was a great experience. It wasn’t too busy but there was literally one girl named Lindy that was serving drinks, bussing tables and taking food orders. I’m honestly impressed that someone was able to do that. This is a great bar regardless of the person working but she defiantly had an impact.

Just saw it driving by, a very cute hole in wall bar but still had a variety of liquor and food! I just had our simple drink, but bartender was attentive and friendly.

Great food, better people. Indys best kept secret. Do yourself a favor and visit here. You will come back.

The bartenders remember your drinks, you have to win the next game of pool, theres a back patio only the cooks seem to know about, and its next to mass ave....this is the best bar in Indy

We were in town for work and wanted to try the local favorite. We asked where to go and were steered to Lockerbie. They did not disappoint! Its been months and I still remember it! We ate half for lunch and half for dinner later at the hotel. Wash it down with a local beer or a White Claw!

Loved it! We asked a local to recommend a good bar. He suggested Lockerbie Pub. Its a pub. Its a dive (which is what we were looking for). Cant speak much to the food because all we had was an appetizer; those macaroni and cheese bites were simple and delish..described as pub fare..which is exactly what it was. Not pretentious. No pressure. Super friendly and attentive bartender (Jennifer). Id go back to Indy just to hang at this place.

Its a hole in the wall bar. Laid back atmosphere. Good for late night drinks like a final beer or well drink. Kitchen is open to midnight.

Lockerbie has the best tenderloin that I have tried. This is a very cool establishment in downtown Indianapolis. You can either sit in the corner and talk to no one, or you can can sit at the bar and talk to everyone. It definitely does not disappoint.

Local pub, ambient is a little dark and it does not seem very clean. They have a good options for beer (not a lot), for a very nice price. Service was great. We didnt try food, but the prices seemed a little high, and dishes that we saw didnt look appealing. As someone that doesnt live around, Im not sure Id come back.

One of my favorite bars in Indianapolis. It can get busy, but when it’s slow the staff takes extra care to talk to you and see what you’re up to. It’s a nice spot, with reasonably priced drinks and located in a cute neighborhood.

Very friendly laid back neighborhood vibe! Not trendy, but the kind of establishment that has been around for decades. The service was excellent and all of the staff were outgoing and welcoming! They serve a lot of typical pub food, but the pork tenderloin sandwich was AMAZING! Tender, juicy and crisp - not greasy! Perhaps it is air fried? The staff said the meat comes from Needlers Market and is cooked at the pub. The fries were excellent also. Great selection of beers. A really enjoyable low key establishment in a fabulous neighborhood!

Seven of us were part of a Mass Ave Food Tour and this was lunch stop #2. We had a chance to enjoy a delicious house-cut tenderloin sandwich, fried pickles, and a flight of 3 craft beers, of which two were really good (nix on the mango.) Extra surprise was that Indy Mayor Joe Hogsett was just leaving after his lunch and waived hello to us - the three tour goers from Chicago got a kick out of that...as did we. The owner spent a lot of time at our table explaining about the pubs history and his interest in cooking. What a great time we had.

Big fan of Lockerbie Pub. The food and service has always been good and cant beat the location. I feel like its a bit of a hidden gem as it never seems too crowded. I like not waiting in line for pool/darts and good food so Im not complaining, but Id like to see this place get the credit it deserves.

Our group visited on a Saturday during a slow late afternoon at the pub. While sitting down at a table with our drinks, a fellow patron suddenly and randomly started berating a member of our group. This mans behavior made us extremely uncomfortable, so I brought it to the attention of the managing bartender. This was my first time visiting the pub, so I was surprised to have such a disturbing interaction right off the bat. It turns out this patron is a regular at the pub and the bartenders friend. The bartender had no interest in addressing our concern, despite our attempt to understand who this individual was and the threat he posed. Minutes later, the bartender was speaking with this patron obviously clueing him in on our reaction. The whole experience was very troubling.I was under the impression this was a friendly neighborhood dive. After witnessing management having no issue with random acts of intimidation and belligerence, I can tell you it is not.

I have wanted to visit this place for nearly 5 years and finally got the chance to, but with much disappoint. The night I went the pub was pretty dirty, many empty tables had glasses and plates still on them, and the pool table had a few balls and a stick hanging out on the table. My friend asked the bar tender what kinds of beer they had, and she responded with we have too many for me to name them off then Coors, Coors Lights, Coors in a can, on tap... Seeing where this was going we cut her off and said nevermind. Played a few games of pool which was fun, thought about getting food, which sounded good and was a great price, but due to the attitude of the bartender we decided to leave.

Very nice neighborhood pub! Good appetizers, quality chili, and delicious burgers. Great service and comfortable location add up to a good experience here.

Love this pub. Great pricing on food and drinks, its a go to spot for me. Sean and Jack are incredibly good at what they do. They know how to make any drink and they do it well and they do it quickly. I do not know the other bartenders names but they all have given exceptional service.Its a low key place most nights. Every now and then it will get bust after the mass Ave crowd makes its way there but thats rare.As always, its a great place to go eat, drink, watch sports, or play pool. Highly recommended.

One of the best pubs in downtown Indy

This place is trash. Bartender (Wendy) took the side of a clearly wasted regular who was doing all he could to start a fight with a buddy and I. Will never go here again. Good bartenders can’t be that difficult to find.

The food here is always excellent. Count yourself lucky if you managed to get some of the beef stew. Its seasonal.

Really tasty tenderloin! Went here on recommendation and from Google reviews. It was good! Went on lunch. Food turn out was quick. They have a pool table and dart board for a little fun. I liked it. I will go back.

This is where Seth met Meredith and they fell in love and went on to have 2 really cool children. And its where Jamie A had her going away party and talked smack about all her old associates. Such a magical venue.

A great pub. I went here with a food tour and the owner brought the food out to us and all the beer samples, the owner! He talked with us about the history of Indy and the porkloin sandwich was awesome! If I ever am in Indy again, Ill go here again

My friend group and I frequent Lockerbie on weeknights for pool, drinks, and conversation. Its one of our favorite hangouts, the bartender is wonderful, and the drinks are great.

What it lacks in atmosphere makes up for in service and price. Drinks are strong and the bartenders are fast.

Since this place has been around a LONG time you really cant beat the ambience. Plus they have an extensive beer list. We didnt eat the food but did run into a buddy who was in for the food for the second time that week so I think that speaks pretty highly of it.

The place is great for lunch or social gathering.
