Had a great experience here, really enjoyed the out come of my tattoos. It was really easy to get a consultation and to get scheduled for the work. I wanted to worked with Grace, so walking in is not something I was interested in doing. Grace really helped me with making my tattoos come to life (she helped with the concept). Honestly can’t wait to gEt more with her; I just need to think of what!Great work was able to see some other artists work while I was there. I really liked the design of the studio and the tattoo shop, surprised how easy it was to find a parking spot in broad ripple.

I have had the pleasure of getting a tattoo done by Micah this week that is AMAZING!! I have a few (7) black and greys if various sizes, so this was my first color piece and it is beautiful and truly unique! While everyone that I met at the shop was relaxed and fun, yet professional (a very hard balance), I always felt like I was in great hands!Thank you, Micah - I will be in touch about the right shoulder piece in a few months!

Just came from there earlier today. I had Gabriel as my artist. Just a generally super nice shop. Everyone there was really fun and nice to talk to. It makes you feel like you can actually talk to someone and they’re really interested in helping you. The entire place is really clean and comfortable. After a few somewhat bad tattoos from different places, I was really happy to find this place and these people. Thank you guys :,) and by the way, when you’re walking in, look up to your left. There’s a baby doll in the window. I’m not sure if Gabriel has a name for it by now, but you should help him with a good name.

I had my first tattoo experience ever at Untitled Ink this past Friday (2/28), and I had such a great experience that I had to write a review. The artist I worked with was Johnny, and all the way from scheduling my initial appointment to putting the finishing touches on my tattoo, he was AMAZING to work with! I was able to call on Wednesday, set up a consultation that same day, and then get the tattoo 2 days later, which was something I thought wasnt even possible after reading the reviews of other tattoo parlors in the area. Johnny knew it was my first tattoo, so he took extra time to explain what to expect on the big day. He also utilized his creativity with the initial idea I provided him, and offered suggestions on how to make the tattoo even better (which by the way, I took all 3 of his suggestions, and I dont regret it because he was absolutely right!). I absolutely recommend Untitled Ink, especially Johnny to ANYone who is thinking about getting a tattoo. I already have another tattoo idea in mind for myself, so I plan to return myself! Ive been into Untitled Ink more times than I can count for the big piece that Im working on right now. I work exclusively with Chad, but Ive gotten to know all of the artists and each one is fantastic. Best shop in the city, hands down!

Super pleased with the work, and tbh the whole aesthetic was not the normal tattoo shop feel. They ha cool art from world class artists, every artist was unique in what they did, an I felt super comfortable. Loved that they had Female and male artists in the shop, different music in every booth. I really cant say enough good things I loved it. Super dope go check them out !

I took my 19 yr old daughter here for her first tattoo and this place is really the best. Engaging staff all around and johnny did and amazing job and was so patient and kind with everything.

Had an appointment with Grace and she was wonderful! The tattoo itself was perfect, and she was very respectful and gentle. She was super fun to chat with during the session, too, and she played Billy Joel which was nice ;) The shop was clean and the other artists that I encountered were very pleasant. I will definitely be back!

Darrin was amazing and made my whole experience fun!!! I came in late before closing and he was so kind after I apologized repeatedly for holding him up. He told me no worries and we chatted and I really enjoyed his company. He quickly came up with the exact design I wanted and it turned out amazing!! It was very very small cursive and everything looks very crisp and precise. He was super cool and I plan on going back to him for my next tattoo!!

Walked in and wanted a tattoo, Johnny was able to help me figure out what I was thinking. I couldnt draw it out so he took my words and put it on paper. I posted an unaltered photo of the Buffalo I got on my side about six months ago, done by Mr Chad Fearnow. It was my first tattoo, and he made me feel at ease with the whole process. He is knowledgeable, patient, and I really like his style. The tattoo is in a place that I had to have my top off for a bit, but he was professional and considerate the whole time. LOVE THIS SHOP. I am relatively familiar with the tattoo world, and really appreciate their honesty and integrity. They have a variety of artists that have different specialties and preferences, all of which are priced accordingly. I have been tattooed there a few times now. The first experience was with a past artist who did some script on my leg, the second time was a cover up by one of their current artists. He did an outstanding job! I covered my exs name in blank ink, with bright colored flowers! Everything flowed beautifully and you couldnt even tell I had a cover up done. That cover was a little over a year ago and my tattoo still looks just as bright and pretty as the day I got it. I even tan ( yeh yeah its bad for me and my tattoos ) and I still havent had any issues. Went back with my tax money and wasnt disappointed! Very clean, super honest and helpful! Owner is a cool dude, and the shop manager was really helpful every time. Recommend 10/10 for sure!

Chad was absolutely fantastic. One thing that stood out to me was his absolute mastery of color and his dedication to an immaculately clean work space.

Went in to talk about getting a large tattoo. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Justin was able to fit me in for a four hour session that day. I told him and showed him a few pics of a design I was thinking of and he designed an amazing piece for me. Will only go here from now on and will send all my friends here as well. Needed a small tat, was originally gonna go into metamorphosise but they didn’t have time for walk ins that day. Pulled up good ol google maps and made the 5 minute walk. I’m glad I did. Terrible. I got my first tattoo here. Not only was the artist condescending and rude, but he threatened to kick me out because I was deciding between 2 fonts that I wanted (which took like 5 minutes.) The very simple tattoo turned out horribly. A few months later I decided to take my chances here for my 2nd tattoo with a different artist. He had me scheduled at 2:00 and when I arrived he said he double booked me (an honest mistake) After waiting an hour in broad ripple I showed up again where he said I would have to wait another hour. Once I got the tattoo he made it much more painful than it needed to be (lots of blood) and, again, the tattoo turned out horribly. There is raised scarring and I am very disappointed in the quality. I could have done better myself. Since then, I have gotten 3 other tattoos from other local shops that turned out great with no issues. Even the artists at these shops said the tattoos I had gotten from Untitled were poorly done and were beyond repair. If you want to get a good tattoo and be treated with respect dont even consider coming to Untitled Ink.I hate to complain, especially online. In fact, this is the first review I have ever written about anything. But when I have to see my poorly done tattoos every day, I feel like something should be done so people dont waste their money.Also, I had a friend who went to Untitled for a simple tattoo of the Indiana flag torch on his thigh (against my warning not to go here) He had the same experience as I did. He said the artist was rude, and his tattoo looks terrible. Like a child drew it. I would send pictures if reviews would allow it.

Awesome shop.! Artists are helpful and funny asf. Getting tatted is allways lowkey nerve racking every time for me personally. The people there were able to make me super comfortable while waiting an even make me laugh to calm my nerves. Dude was sick that did my script. Keep it up guys

And I am also getting some done as well and up until now its been a really great experience.The place is clean and inviting. The staff are moderately friendly and welcoming, not overly annoying or anything.My artist was willing to work with what I gave him, but added his professional insight and really has made my piece unique and even better than I had imagined.Im excited to pass this on to anyone looking for a unique experience that isnt trendy or flash.Update: I have been going here for a couple of years and will continue to until the end of days.

Wife and I had matching tattoos done for our anniversary. Mine turned out great but my wife was scarred and half the tattoo isn’t even visible. Had to go somewhere else to have hers redone. Didn’t trust going back to have them fix in fear that they would do further scarring. Have pictures to prove but can’t post pics in reviews.

Been here last month. Guy at the front office doesn’t care customers and was watching UFC videos. Kept me waiting and standing for more than 10 minutes. Did not even show the minimum courtesy of asking me to sit down while he was busy watching UFC videos on YouTube. Here comes the other guy and their discussion about the fight started for another 5 minutes then my turn come.Went with a design in phone. He printed it well on the paper but executed it very poorly on my arm.Did the tattoo in rush while he was ordering fried chicken and as expected tattoo came very bad.Had another tattoo at Metamorphosis later a week which was fantastic

Either they are racist or just downright unprofessional! I called and asked if they take walk ins. The gentleman on the phone said “yes, and we are open until 8pm.” I was there within 15 mins and arrived at 6. As I walked up on the porch, the tattoo artist was walking out to smoke. I spoke to him first as he didn’t greet me at all. He then went on to say he was working alone and he probably won’t get to me tonight. Smh. Never again. The racist part was verified when he never apologized or even suggested I come back... he just continued browsing on his phone and smoking those camels. #boybye I don’t care how great their work is... If I could give them zero stars I would.

I went here because my usual shop was a little steep for what I wanted. I was given an estimate by one artist and told to call another one to see his availability. The artist told me he normally charges a deposit so text if I wasnt coming. I show up and Im told he knows what I was quoted but he charges x amount per hour. The price was a significant amount more than expected. I felt obligated to still get it. It was a cover up yet I can still see part of the old tattoo. He offered to go over it more but said he didnt want to keep going over it but that I can come back for a free touch up. The symmetry is off and the attention to detail is lacking. They also charge 5 to use your card and I wasnt told this before I paid. I will not be going back nor recommending this shop. I suggest being very cautious and reading reviews before going here.Sorry you had a bad experience with us. Yes all of our artists have different pricing. Some artists have more experience than others and specialize in different types of tattooing. I’m sure you had the chance to review the placement of your tattoo before you started and that was the time to speak up about the symmetry you were looking for. As for the card charge you can always pay cash for you tattoo if you would like. Also I’m sure the artist let you know that the cover up is best done in stages (layers) to fully conceal the old tattoo. Sometimes one pass can cover it initially but most of the time it will return with out multiple layers over it.And the response was rude. You really arent sorry. If you were your tone and word choice would be different.1. On the phone the day before I told him what i was quoted, sent a pic of my wrist, and a pic of what I wanted. I wasnt told his pricing then. But infelt obligated to go once I made the appointment and after I got there.2. The placement was fine when he printed it. After he tattooed his work was off and sloppy. It was a tad bit too late to do anything then.3. I wasnt told until after the tattoo was done that it would cost FIVE dollars to use my card. There was really no point in going anywhere to withdraw money.4. Neither artist told me that it would take multiple sessions to cover it up. Regardless, had he made better choices while doing it my issue with the cover up wouldnt be problematic. I was already done and he didnt seem to want to fix it then so I left it alone. But good job assuming.But trust. I wont be coming back and nobody I know will be either.

Im going under the machine tue but Im covered in tattoos. And out of all the shops this is by far one of the cleanest and the artists I talked to is pretty cool dude cant wait to get the left side of my neck clean.

This place is so good I made a whole google account just to rave about them. The decor in there is great and if you know anything about art in the tattoo community you can really appricate the peices they have up. Also the artists didn’t call the tat machine a ‘tat gun’ like they have at a few places I’ve been here in Indy.... I walked in, discused the tattoo and prices, and pretty much just jumped right in. The guys that worked there were super entertaining whilst getting my work done. Kept a good convo, even invited me to grab some food with them after (it was late when we were done). Gonna go back. My daughter has been bugging me about wanting a tattoo in a few years, and im even gonna consider bringing my own kid here.

Okay so its pretty sad that it came down to me having to handle the situation this way cause Im not the type to ruin someones reputation like this but I wont be ripped off either. So in April I walked into this place and met with an African American artist named Darrin Spells and we talked about a half sleeve cover up work and he quoted me a price of $300 which we agreed upon and I paid him $50 on the spot as deposit and another $250 on the first session and once he was fully paid he gave me an appointment for the second session but then on the day of the appointment he emailed me and asked to reschedule the session which I didnt have any problems with but when I emailed him back and asked for the time of the rescheduled session he didnt respond to my email so I texted him and didnt get a respond again so I decided to call his cell phone and this time successfully got a hold him and we finally set up the second session after weeks and after that the third session with no problems but after the third session he gave me another appointment for the fourth session within a week of the third session but when I showed up at the shop for that session he told me to wait another week for my arm to completely heal so I did as he said but again on the day of the fourth appointment he emailed me and asked me if its okay if we rescheduled the session due to some personal problems he had to take care of and I told him it was okay and asked him to set up a time for the rescheduled appointment but then he didnt respond to my email and every other attempt I made to get a hold him including multiple emails, a phone call, a text message and a message on fb and its been months so I figured Id have to settle the score this way. Now I dont know if he had a change of heart on the price or whatever else his problem might be but I know that ignoring a customer who has payed fully for the job isnt the right way to handle it. So I really dont recommend to anyone to choose him for a job that might take multiple sessions.

My girl friend and I went to get tatooed while we were visiting in indianapolis. Johny tattooed my girlfriend and she took the proper care for healing as we have had other tattooed that have turned out perfectly but this one johny did took her months to heal, her tattoo scabbed over terribly like ive never seen before and now as it healed her tattoo has many scars.
