1st time to this theater. Guarantee I will return for another show. We sat on the lower left side and view of stage was great. I dont believe from walking through the entire theater that there could remotely be a bad seat in the house.

I enjoyed a show here however the seats were uncomfortable, the parking wasnt too bad considering we didnt get there early. The lobby was too small for the hundreds waiting for the auditorium doors to open and the people who were late held the outside doors open even though it was about 5 degrees outside. The building itself was nicely decorated and well taken care of. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I will attend another event here as they have a good venue.

The staff are most helpful and the shows are excellent and affordable.

An historic and wonderful place to watch a live performance. The acoustics are above average and lighting had been updated. Another nice aspect is being with to enjoy adult beverages while seated. There usually is an art display of some sort to enjoy after the show.Recommend

Beautiful theatre with classic looking features in and out. Unfortunately, it smelled like cigarette smoke. I dont go often so maybe that was just the time I went. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time there watching the Russian Ballet Company!

I have attended a class and a movie at the colonial theater. Both experiences were lovely. The theater is well kept and beautiful. Bathrooms are always clean. Staff are very kind. It really is a beautiful business in Idaho Falls!

We have been to many different events here The Nutcracker Ballet, classic movie night, Chase Rice concert and the Gin Blossoms, all of which were amazing! We love the nostalgic feel, but their well rounded event offerings. Keep up the diverse shows! We love them!

The building is nice but I went there for the concert. Building was upgraded a few years ago into a nice facility.

This place is absolutely beautiful inside and out and its in downtown really historic as a caterer I have been inside here a few times and the latest time was for a wedding it was amazing. If you are sentimental or like historic things in Idaho Falls then this is the place also I like that the art here is in many forms painting sculptures welding all sorts of art beautiful for sale and for show theres more information there or a number you can call to see what shows will be playing and when. I need to look into it more.

Went here for my nieces graduation. Historic, nicely restored building. Didnt know it was there until I went to her graduation. I thought to myself, I wonder if they have shows here? It would be fun to go to theater or something artsy with a friend. There are good restaurants downtown so you could make a night of it. Parking is a downside. Be prepared to park and have to walk a few blocks.

The Colonial theater is historic and beautifully and we love going there. It is always a great experience.

The Colonial Theatre is a great venue for small, intimate performances. Ive seen many concerts and plays here over the years. Its comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly.

Attended U of I graduation there. We enjoyed the art gallery before hand. The theater is beautifully restored.

I had a very good time at the colonial theater in Idaho Falls. They put on wonderful productions and the price is worth the show. The only thing I did not like was the area they have for you to wait in line is very tight quarters. Other than that it was amazing.

The only reason they don’t get five stars is because they’re not open on Sundays. Something that’s very common in this area. The food and movies are fairly priced, again they’re not open on Sundays.

I went to the Colonial Theater for Deep Love in October, and I loved the atmosphere. Its a beautiful building and auditorium, and I loved walking through the art galleries as well.I had a seat on the left side, facing the stage, kind of closer to the exit than the stage, and I still had a good view of the performance.I will definitely go to Deep Love at the theater again next year, and Ive been keeping an eye on the schedule for other shows Id be interested in. Id love to visit the theater again.

Good venue, sound system a bit lacking but comfortable. Can be difficult to see if the person sitting in front of you is tall dude to lack of staggered seating. Also can be spendy.

I have come here multiple times throughout the years and have seen a vast amount of performers and shows. I have always enjoyed my experience! From Simon and Garfunkel impersonators, to Weird Owl himself, the entertainment has always proved to be none less than exceptional.

Small seats but nice place

Ive only seen a couple of shows here, but Ive always been impressed. I ordered tickets in the mail a month or so in advance, but they didnt arrive in time for the show. However, once I called and spoke to someone about it, they apologized, printed out tickets for me at Will Call, and threw in a couple of drink vouchers to make up for it. The ushers are nice and the inside of the theatre is neat. Kind of small, but the seating is arranged well. I dont know much about lighting or acoustics, but I thought both were great.

Beautiful historic building. Nice bathrooms. Of course like any auditorium, it gets hot up on the nose bleed seats. Grab a program, you are gonna need a fan!

We saw the Simon and Garfunkel Story last night.Great show and highly recommended!!!The only problem we always have with this venue is that the seats are all right behind each other, which means that you are seated right behind the person in front of you, which makes it quite difficult to see the stage, unless you move to the right or left...

This is a beautiful theatre. I have been to a few theatres, and this one was remarkably clean and well tended. There are multiple art galleries to peruse through if you arrive early for your show. The seating is comfortable, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I recommend this place highly.

100 years old this year. Way to go IF. Support of this theater and its organization is fantastic.

Went to the Chad Prather comedy show and the theater was charming and vintage.

Wonderful Performing arts theater and gallery. You can attend performances there from a variety of artists, The Symphony Broadway shows, Rock Bands, dance groups or even old time movies.

The play was so good. I hope to come again to see more plays.

Was a great performance of the Nutcracker. Ive not been disappointed at any of the shows here.

They sponsor old movie nights which are a lot of fun to go see old movies in the theater again.

One of the greatest places in Idaho falls. This is a landmark and had brought many bands, concerts and shows to Idaho falls. Vintage style and old.

It was an amazing experience! The seating was great, I could see everything on stage from my seat at the very top of the balcony! The sound was great, you could here everything clearly! Loved it!

We went here for my daughters choir concert. It was comfortable seating and I enjoyed it. I need to attend some of the movies they play there I imagine itll be an enjoyable experience.

Attended the tedx event. The chairs are pretty narrow but the building has been taken care of very well. I will note, though, the seating was comfortable.

I have been to two events at this location and the facility is great. I am a big guy and the seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room. Nice place.

Excellent theater in Art Deco style.

Its fun going to ballet and other events with parents and grandparents who used to sit in the same seats when they were younger.

The famous Paramount Theatre. Saw tons of movies here up to being employed here, beginning as relief projection in 1971 up to as Chief Projection in 1976 to conclude late 1984.

Great unique old theater with character.

This is not a good venue for graduation or other people dense activities. We watched 5 handicapped people struggling to stand waiting. They arrived early so they would not hamper others with their slowness and instability. They were made to wait without seating as the foyer filled to capacity. Ms. Maness refused to let anyone into the auditorium until able bodied people started complaining loudly for the poor old man forced to sit on a garbage can while he waited. Shameful Ms Maness, shameful.

Had a good time watching Cosi Fan Tutte with friends here. Comfortable seating, and good stage Dynamics for a smaller theater!

Cool art display upstairs and nice seats to sit in. The interior design is unique and pleasing to the eye. My date and I had a great time at the concert!
